1 Ikonium a pha vaengah Judah rhoek kah tunim la kun rhoi tih a thui bal dongah Judah neh Greek rhaengpuei te yet loh a tangnah uh.
And it came to pass in Iconium at this time, they came together into the synagogue of the Jews, and spoke in such a manner, that a great multitude both of the Jews and Greeks believed.
2 Te vaengah olaek Judah rhoek loh namtom kah a hinglu te a cahoeh pa uh tih manuca rhoek te a hnaep uh.
But the unbelieving Jews stirred up and poisoned the minds of the Gentiles against the brethren.
3 Te dongah Boeipa ham sayalh la a tue puet a loh rhoi tih a lungvatnah ol te a phong. Miknoek neh khobae rhambae amih rhoi kut neh saii ham a paek.
Then indeed preaching boldly in behalf of the Lord, witnessing to the word of His grace, giving signs and wonders to be wrought by their hands, they spent much time.
4 Tedae kho khuikah rhaengpuei tah paek uh thae tih, hlangvang loh Judah rhoek taengah, hlangvang loh caeltueih rhoek taengah om uh.
And the multitude of the city was divided: and some indeed were with the Jews, and some with the apostles.
5 Te vaengah amih rhoi neet ham neh dae hamla namtom rhoek khaw, Judah rhoek neh a boei rhoek khaw thathohnah a khueh.
And when there was a conspiracy of both Gentiles and Jews along with their leaders, to insult and stone them,
6 A yaak uh vaengah Lukaonia kho rhoek, Lustra neh Derbe pingpang la yong uh tih,
recognizing it, they fled into the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, and Derbe, and the surrounding country;
7 olthangthen aka phong la pahoi om uh.
and there they preached the gospel.
8 Lustra ah tattloel hlang pakhat tah a kho dongah sut ngol. Anih tah a manu bung lamkah khawn coeng tih a pongpa noek moenih.
And there was a certain man sitting there in Lystra, impotent in his feet, being lame from the womb of his mother, who never did walk about.
9 Anih long khaw Paul kah a thui te a hnatun. Anih te Paul loh a hmaitang hatah a hoeih hamla tangnah a khueh te a hmuh.
He heard Paul speaking, who fixing his attention on him, and seeing that he had faith to be saved,
10 Te dongah ol ue la, “Na kho dongah a dueng la pai,” a ti nah. Te daengah dawm soi tih cet.
said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and continued to walk around.
11 Paul kah a saii te hlangping loh a hmuh uh vaengah a ol a huel uh tih Lukaonia ol neh, “Pathen rhoi tah hlang la ha saa uh tih mamih taengla ha rhum rhoi coeng,” a ti uh.
And the multitudes seeing what Paul did, lifted up their voice, in Lycaonic, saying, The gods having assumed the likeness of men have come down to us:
12 Paul tah olka neh aka poek la a om dongah Barnabas te Zeus, Paul te khaw Hermes a sui uh.
and they were calling Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercury, since he was the leader of the speech.
13 Kho taengah aka om Zeus khosoih long khaw hmueih nawn ham a ngaih dongah vaito neh rhaihulh te vongka kah hlangping taengla hang khuen.
And the priest of Jupiter, being in front of the city, having brought oxen and garlands to the gate, wished to offer sacrifices to them, along with the multitudes.
14 Tedae caeltueih rhoi Barnabas neh Paul loh a yaak rhoi vaengah a himbai te a phen rhoi phoeiah hlangping te a muk rhoi tih pang rhoi.
And the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, hearing, rending their garments, rushed into the crowd, crying out, and saying,
15 Te vaengah, “Ka hlang rhoek aw hekah he bahamlae na saii uh. Kaimih rhoi khaw nangmih bangla hlang van boeiloeih ni. A honghi lamloh aka hing Pathen taengla na bal uh ham ni nangmih taengah olthangthen thui la a om. Amah loh vaan neh diklai, tuitunli neh a khuikah aka om boeih khaw a saii.
Men, why are you doing these things? We are also men of like suffering with you, preaching the gospel to you that you should turn from these vanities to the living God, who created the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all things which are in them:
16 Khum tangtae rhuirhong khuiah khaw namtom boeih te amah loh a longpuei ah pongpa sak ham a khueh.
who in bygone generations, suffered all nations to walk in their own ways;
17 Te vaengah a then saii te a hlahpham tih amah kawng te a bil moenih. Khoning vaengah a thaitak la nangmih taengah vaan rhotui khaw m'paek dongah ni na thinko te buh neh omngaihnah neh a hah,” a ti nah rhoi.
indeed he did not leave himself without witnesses, doing good, giving to you the rains from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.
18 Hnaeng hnaeng a thui rhoi long te ni amih rhoi taengah hmueih ngawn pawt ham hlangping te a duem sak pueng.
And speaking these things they scarcely restrained the multitude from offering sacrifices to them.
19 Te vaengah Antiok neh Ikonium lamkah aka pawk Judah rhoek loh hlangping te a yoek tih Paul te a dae uh. Anih te duek coini tila a poek uh dongah khopuei vongvoel la a mawt uh.
But the Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the multitudes, stoned Paul, dragged him out of the city, thinking that he was dead;
20 Tedae anih te hnukbang rhoek loh a vael uh vaengah thoo tih khopuei khuila kun. A vuen ah Barnabas neh Derbe la cet rhoi.
but, the disciples having surrounded him, rising up, he came into the city. And on the following day he came with Barnabas into Derbe;
21 Olthangthen a phong uh loh khopuei te muep a bang sak phoeiah Lustra, Ikonium neh Antiok la bal uh.
and preaching the gospel to that city, and making many disciples, they returned into Lystra, and into Iconium, and into Antioch,
22 Hnukbang rhoek kah a hinglu te a thoh phoeiah, “Tangnah dongah ngol pai thai ham neh Pathen ram khuiah kun ham he mamih loh phacip phabaem muep tong ham a kuek,” tila a hloep.
strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to abide in the faith, and it behooves them through many tribulations to enter into the kingdom of God.
23 Hlangboel takuem ah amamih kah a ham la a coelh rhoek te khaw yaehnah neh thangthui uh tih aka tangnah te Boeipa amah taengah taengah a nawn uh.
And electing elders for them in every church, praying with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they had believed.
24 Te phoeiah Pisidia te a paan rhoi tih Pamphylia la pawk rhoi.
And having come through Pisidia, they came into Pamphylia.
25 Perga ah olka a thui rhoi tih Attalia la suntla rhoi.
And having spoken the word in Perge, they came down into Attalia;
26 Te lamkah loh Antiok la kat rhoi. Te lamloh bibi coeng sak ham Pathen kah lungvatnah dongah tloeng la om coeng.
and thence they sailed away into Antioch, whence they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.
27 A pha rhoi vaengah hlangboel te a cului tih Pathen loh amih rhoi taengah a saii boeih neh namtom rhoek ham tangnah thohka a ong pah te a puen pah.
And arriving, and convening the church, they reported so many things as God did with them, and that He opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.
28 Tedae hnukbang rhoek taengah a tue a loh rhoi khaw yool van pawh.
And they spent no small time with the disciples.
