1 Te vaengah Kaiserea kah hlang pakhat, a ming ah Kornelius, Italian caem la a khue khuikah rhalboei te om.
There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
2 Anih te cuep tih a imko boeih loh Pathen a rhih. Pilnam taengah doedannah muep a saii tih Pathen taengah a yoeyah la thangthui.
A devout man, and one that feared Elohim with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to Elohim alway.
3 Hnin at tah khonoek pako tluk vaengah a mangthui ah a hmuh. Te vaengah Pathen kah puencawn te anih taengla kun tih, “Kornelius,” a ti nah.
He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of YHWH coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
4 Anih te a hmaitang vaengah lakueng ngaiha la om tih, “Balae aka om Boeipa,” a ti nah. Te dongah anih te, “Na thangthuinah neh na doedannah loh Pathen hmaiah kutmuei la cet coeng.
And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Master? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before Elohim.
5 Te dongah Joppa la hlang pahoi tueih lamtah Simon Peter la a khue hlang pakhat te tah laeh.
And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Kepha:
6 Anih te tuipuei kaengkah im aka om maehpho Simon taengah pah lah ko,” a ti nah.
He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
7 Anih aka voek puencawn te a caeh van phoeiah tah imkhut rhoi neh amah aka khuituk rhoek khuikah aka cuep rhalkap te a khue.
And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;
8 Amih te a soep la a uen phoeiah Joppa la a tueih.
And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.
9 A vuen ah amih te cet uh tih kho a yoei thuem kah khonoek parhuk tluk vaengah Peter tah thangthui ham imphu la yoeng.
On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Kepha went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
10 Te vaengah a pongnaeng la om tih caak ten ham khaw a ngaih. Tedae a tawn uh vaengah anih te amih taengah mueimang a om pah.
And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
11 Te vaengah vaan ke ong uh tih hno pakhat loh a kil pali neh himbai len bangla ha suntla tih diklai la a colh te a hmuh.
And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12 A khuiah diklai kah rhamsa boeih neh rhulcai khaw, vaan kah vaa khaw om.
Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13 Te vaengah, “Peter thoo, ngawn lamtah ca,” tila anih taengla ol halo pah.
And there came a voice to him, Rise, Kepha; kill, and eat.
14 Tedae Peter loh, “Moenih, Boeipa, tanghnong tangaih neh rhalawt la aka om boeih he ka caak moenih,” a ti nah.
But Kepha said, Not so, Master; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 Tedae anih te a pabae kah ol bal loh, “Pathen loh a cim sak tangtae te nang loh poeih boeh,” a ti nah.
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What YHWH hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16 Te tlam te voei thum a om phoeiah tah hno te vaan la vil a loh.
This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
17 Te dongah mangthui a hmuh te metlam a om poek eh tila Peter loh a khuiah khobing. Te vaengah Kornelius loh a tueih tih Simon im aka toem hlang rhoek khaw vongka ah pakcak ha pai uh.
Now while Kepha doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,
18 Te vaengah pang uh tih, “Peter la a khue Simon te pah mai a he,” a ti uh.
And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Kepha, were lodged there.
19 Peter khaw mangthui dongkah te a poek li vaengah Mueihla loh, “Hlang pathum loh nang n'toem uh ke.
While Kepha thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
20 Thoo, suntla lamtah boelhkhoeh kolla amih taengah cet laeh. Kai long ni amih kan tueih,” a ti nah.
Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.
21 A suntlak phoeiah hlang rhoek te Peter loh, “Na toem uh te kai ni he. Mebang paelnaehnah nen nim na pai uh te,” a ti nah.
Then Kepha went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?
22 Te dongah amih loh, “Rhalboei Kornelius he hlang dueng la om tih Pathen a rhih dongah Judah namtu boeih long khaw a oep. Nang te amah im la tah tih nang lamkah olka hnatun sak ham hlangcim kah puencawn loh a mangthui coeng,” a ti uh.
And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth Elohim, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from Elohim by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
23 Te dongah amih te a khue tih a pah sak. A vuen ah tah thoo tih amih taengla cet. Te vaengah Joppa lamkah manuca hlangvang rhoek loh anih te a puei uh.
Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Kepha went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

And as Kepha was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
26 Tedae Peter loh anih te a thoh tih, “Thoo, kai kamah khaw hlang van ni,” a ti nah.
But Kepha took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
27 Anih te a voek tih a kun vaengah muep a tingtun uh a hmuh.
And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.
28 Amih taengah khaw, “Judah hlang taengah kap tih kholong a paan vaengah a lolh la muep a om te na hmat uh. Tedae hlang te tanghnong neh rhalawt ti nah pawt ham Pathen loh kai n'tueng coeng.
And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but YHWH hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
29 Te dongah kai aka tah taengla hawt ka lo van. Tedae kan dawt mai eh mebang kawng nen lae kai nan tah uh,” a ti nah.
Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?
30 Te vaengah Kornelius loh, “Tahae duela hnin li khuiah khonoek pako kah thangthui neh ka im ah ka om. Te vaengah hlang pakhat loh a himbai cim thik la kai hmaiah pakcak pai tih,

And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of Elohim.

Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Kepha; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.

Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before Elohim, to hear all things that are commanded thee of Elohim.
34 Te dongah Peter loh a ka a ong tih, “Pathen loh tangyahnah a khueh pawt te oltak la ka pom coeng.
Then Kepha opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that YHWH is no respecter of persons:

But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Kepha, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit.
46 Amih kah ol a thui uh te a yaak uh vaengah Pathen te a oep uh.
For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify YHWH. Then answered Kepha,
47 Te dongah Peter loh, “Kaimih van bangla Mueihla Cim aka dang amih he nuem pawt ham u long khaw tui hloh thai mahpawh,” a ti.
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Yahushua. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
