< Zekariah 9 >
1 Angraeng lokcaekhaih Hadrak hoi Damaska vangpui nuiah krah tih: Angraeng mah kaminawk hoi Israel acaengnawk to khet.
The burden of the word of the Lord, in the land of Sedrach, and his sacrifice [shall be] in Damascus; for the Lord looks upon men, and upon all the tribes of Israel.
2 Lokcaekhaih loe a taengah kaom Hamath vangpui nuiah krah tih, palungha kami ah kaom, Tura hoi Sidon nuiah doeh krah tih.
And in Emath, [even] in her coasts, [are] Tyre and Sidon, because they were very wise.
3 Tura loe misa buephaih kacak im to sak, sum kanglung to maiphu baktih, sui to loklam ih tangkrok baktiah patungh.
And Tyrus built strong-holds for herself, and heaped up silver as dust, and gathered gold as the mire of the ways.
4 Khenah, Angraeng mah anih to va ving ueloe, a thacakhaih to tuipui thungah amrosak tih; anih loe hmai mah kang tih.
And therefore the Lord will take them for a possession, and will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be consumed with fire.
5 Ashkelon vangpui mah hnuk naah, zii tih; Gaza mah doeh hnu ueloe, paroeai palungsae tih; Ekron ih oephaih doeh azat thok hmuen ah angcoeng ving tih; Gaza siangpahrang to dueh tih, Ashkelon ah kami om mak ai boeh.
Ascalon shall see, and fear; Gaza also, and shall be greatly pained, and Accaron; for she is ashamed at her trespass; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ascalon shall not be inhabited.
6 Acaeng kangbaeh kaminawk loe Ashdod vangpui ah om o tih, Philistinnawk amoekhaih to kam rosak han.
And aliens shall dwell in Azotus, and I will bring down the pride of the Philistines.
7 Nihcae mah athii kaom moi to caa o mak ai ueloe, panuet thok caaknaek doeh caa o mak ai boeh; toe kanghmat kami loe aicae Sithaw hanah qawk ah om tih, anih loe Judah prae zaehoikung ah om ueloe, Ekron vangpui loe Jebus kami maeto ah om tih.
And I will take their blood out of their mouth, and their abominations from between their teeth; and these also shall be left to our God, and they shall be as a captain of a thousand in Juda, and Accaron as a Jebusite.
8 Toe misatuk han caeh moe, amlaem kaminawk pongah, kaimah ih im to ka toep han: mi mah doeh kai ih kaminawk to pacaekthlaek let mak ai boeh. Kaom hmuen to mik hoi ka hnuk boeh.
And I will set up a defence for my house, that they may not pass through, nor turn back, neither shall there any more come upon them one to drive them away: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
9 Aw Zion canu, anghoe parai ah; Jerusalem canu hang ah: khenah, Na siangpahrang loe nang khaeah angzoh: anih loe toeng moe, pahlonghaih a tawnh; poek pahnaemhaih hoiah laa hrang nuiah angthueng, saning kanawk laa hrang nuiah angthueng hoiah angzoh.
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Sion; proclaim [it] aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, the King is coming to thee, just, and a Saviour; he is meek and riding on an ass, and a young foal.
10 Ephraim khae ih hrang lakok to ka lak moe, Jerusalem khae ih misatukhaih hrang to ka lak pae han, misatukhaih kalii to ka khaeh pae han: anih mah Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk khaeah monghaih lok to thui pae tih: anih ukhaih loe tuipui hae bang hoi ho bang khoek to, vapui hoi long boeng khoek to kawk tih.
And he shall destroy the chariots out of Ephraim, and the horse out of Jerusalem, and the bow of war shall be utterly destroyed; and [there shall be] abundance and peace out of the nations; and he shall rule over the waters as far as the sea, and the rivers [to] the ends of the earth.
11 Athii hoi sak ih lokmaihaih loe nangcae han doeh oh toeng pongah, thongim krah kaminawk to tui om ai tangqom thung hoiah ka loisak han.
And thou by the blood of thy covenant has sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit that has no water.
12 Thongim krah kaminawk, amlaem oh, oephaih kang paek o; nangcae han alet hnetto tangqum kang paek o han, tiah vaihi kang thuih o boeh.
Ye shall dwell in strongholds, ye prisoners of the congregation: and for one day of thy captivity I will recompense thee double.
13 Judah to kalii avak baktiah ka vak moe, Ephraim ih kalii to ka koisak han, Aw Zion na capanawk to ka pathawk han, Aw Grik na capanawk to misa ah ka suek moe, thacak kami ih sumsen baktiah kang coengsak han.
For I have bent thee, O Juda, for myself [as] a bow, I have filled Ephraim; and I will raise up thy children, O Sion, against the children of the Greeks, and I will handle thee as the sword of a warrior.
14 Nihcae nuiah Angraeng amtueng tih, anih ih kalii loe ni aengh baktiah ampha tih: Angraeng Sithaw mah mongkah to ueng ueloe, aloih bang ih takhi hoiah caeh tih.
And the Lord shall be over them, and [his] arrow shall go forth as lightning: and the Lord Almighty shall blow with the trumpet; and shall proceed with the tumult of his threatening.
15 Misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah angmah ih kaminawk to pakaa tih; nihcae to amrosak ueloe, zai ih lawkthluemnawk doeh pazawk tih: nihcae loe misurtui nae kaminawk baktiah hang o tih; nihcae loe hmuenpaekhaih sak nathuem ih kakoi mong sabae baktih, im takii ih hmaicam baktiah om o tih.
The Lord Almighty shall protect them, and they shall destroy them, and overwhelm them with sling-stones; and they shall swallow them down as wine, and fill the bowls as the altar.
16 To na niah loe angmacae ih Angraeng Sithaw mah angmah ih tuucaanawk baktiah nihcae to pahlong tih: nihcae loe Angraeng lumuek pong ih atho kaom thlung baktiah om o ueloe, pazawkhaih kahni baktiah a prae thungah aang tih.
And the Lord their God shall save them in that day, [even] his people as a flock; for holy stones are rolled upon his land.
17 Nihcae hoihhaih loe kawkruk maw len, a krang hoihhaih doeh kawkrukmaw len tih! Thendoengnawk loe laikok ih cang baktiah qoeng o ueloe, takha thung ih misurkung baktiah qoeng o tih.
For if he has anything good, and if he has anything fair, the young [men shall have] corn, and [there shall be] fragrant wine to the virgins.
