< Zekariah 5 >
1 Angqoi moe, ka khet let naah, kazawk ca tangoeng to ka hnuk.
Then again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and look, a flying scroll.
2 Anih mah kai khaeah, Timaw na hnuk? tiah ang naa. Kai mah, dong pumphaeto kasawk, dong hato kakawk, kazawk ca tangoeng maeto ka hnuk, tiah ka naa.
He said to me, "What do you see?" I answered, "I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty-nine feet six inches, and its breadth fourteen feet nine inches."
3 To naah anih mah kai khaeah, Hae loe long pum ah kacaeh tangoenghaih ah oh: hae bang ih ca tangoeng nuiah tarik ih baktih toengah, paqu kaminawk loe amro o boih tih; ho bang ih ca tangoeng nuiah tarik ih baktih toengah, amsawnlok thui kaminawk loe amro o boih tih.
Then he said to me, "This is the curse that goes out over the surface of the whole land; for everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it on the one side; and everyone who swears falsely shall be cut off according to it on the other side.
4 Misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah hae tiah thuih, Kai mah to ca to ka sin han, kamqu ih imthung ah to ca to akun ueloe, ka hmin hoi amsoem ai ah lokkamhaih sah kami imthung ah doeh akun tih: anih ih imthung ah om ueloe, thing hoi thlungnawk to amrosak boih tih, tiah a naa.
I will cause it to go out," says the LORD of hosts, "and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it will remain in the midst of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones."
5 Kai hoi lokpae van kami loe hmabang ah caeh moe, kai khaeah, Doeng tahang ah, hmabang kacaeh hmuen loe timaw, tito khen noek ah, tiah ang naa.
Then the angel who talked with me came forward, and said to me, "Lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that is appearing."
6 Kai mah, Hae loe tih aa? tiah ka naa. Anih mah, hae loe hmabang kacaeh benthang ni. Long pum ah kaom kaminawk ih zaehaih loe hae tiah oh, tiah ang naa.
And I said, "What is it?" And he said, "This is the ephah basket that is appearing." And he said moreover, "This is their iniquity throughout the land."
7 To pacoengah khenah, benthang kraenghaih akhuem to paongh o, to naah benthang thungah anghnu nongpata maeto oh:
And look, a lead cover was raised up, and there was a woman sitting in the basket.

And he said, "This is Wickedness;" and he threw her down into the midst of the ephah basket; and he placed the lead cover over its mouth.

Then lifted I up my eyes, and saw, and look, there were two women, and the wind was in their wings. Now they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah basket between earth and the sky.
10 Kai hoi lokpae van kami khaeah, Benthang loe naa ah maw sin hoi tih? tiah ka naa.
Then said I to the angel who talked with me, "Where are these carrying the ephah basket?"
11 Anih mah kai khaeah, Shinar prae ah benthang ih im sak pae hanah a sin hoi: ohhaih ahmuen sak hoi pacoengah, to ah benthang to suem hoi tih, tiah ang naa.
He said to me, "To build her a house in the land of Shinar. When it is prepared, she will be set there in her own place."
