< Zekariah 2 >
1 Ka khet tahang let naah, ban ah tahhaih qui kasin kami maeto ka hnuk.
And lifting up my eyes, I saw a man with a measuring-line in his hand.
2 Kai mah anih hanah, Naa ah maw na caeh han? tiah ka naa. Anih mah, Jerusalem nazetto maw kawk moe, nasetto maw sawk, tito ka tah han, tiah ang naa.
And I said to him, Where are you going? And he said to me, To take the measure of Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.
3 To naah khenah, kai khaeah lokthui van kami loe a caeh, to naah kalah van kami maeto anih tongh hanah caeh,
And the angel who was talking to me went out, and another angel went out, and, meeting him,
4 anih khaeah, Cawn ah loe, to ih saning kanawk thendoeng khaeah, pop parai kaminawk hoi maitaw ohhaih ahmuen ah oh pongah, Jerusalem tapang loe pakaahaih sipae om mak ai boeh:
Said to him, Go quickly and say to this young man, Jerusalem will be an unwalled town, because of the great number of men and cattle in her.
5 kai loe anih hanah hmai tapang baktiah ka oh pae han, vangpui thungah lensawkhaih hoiah ka oh han, tiah Angraeng mah thuih, tiah thui paeh tiah a naa.
For I, says the Lord, will be a wall of fire round about her, and I will be the glory inside her.
6 Ho, Ho, aluek bang prae hoiah cawn oh, tiah Angraeng mah thuih; van tlim ih takhi palito ohhaih ahmuen ah nangcae to kang haeh o boih boeh, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
Ho, ho! go in flight from the land of the north, says the Lord: for I have sent you far and wide to the four winds of heaven, says the Lord.
7 Aw Zion, Angzo ah, Babylon canu hoi nawnto kaom kaminawk, Loih hanah cawn oh.
Ho! Zion, go in flight from danger, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon.

For this is what the Lord of armies has said: In the way of glory he has sent me to the nations which have taken your goods: for anyone touching you is touching what is most dear to him.
9 Khenah, nihcae to ka tuk moe, nihcae ih tamnanawk to kam rosak han: to naah misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah kai ang patoeh, tito na panoek tih.
For at the shaking of my hand over them, their goods will be taken by those who were their servants: and you will see that the Lord of armies has sent me.
10 Aw Zion canu, anghoe ah loe laa to sah ah: khenah, kang zoh moe, nangcae salakah ka oh han, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
Give songs of joy, O daughter of Zion: for I come, and I will make my resting-place among you, says the Lord.
11 To na niah kanoih parai prae kaminawk Angraeng khaeah angzo o ueloe, kai ih kami ah om o tih: kai nangcae salakah ka oh han, to naah misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah nangcae khaeah kai patoeh, tito na panoek o tih.
And a number of nations will be joined to the Lord in that day, and will become my people; and I will be living among you, and you will see that the Lord of armies has sent me to you.
12 Angraeng mah kaciim Judah prae loe angmah ih taham qawk ah toep ueloe, Jerusalem loe a qoih ih vangpui ah om let tih.
And Judah will be the Lord's heritage in the holy land, and Jerusalem will again be his.
13 Kaminawk boih, Angraeng hmaa ah, anghngai o duem ah, anih loe a ohhaih hmuenciim hoiah angthawk boeh.
Let all flesh be quiet and make no sound before the Lord: for he is awake and has come from his holy resting-place.
