< Solomon Laa 6 >
1 Aw nongpatanawk boih thungah kranghoih koek nang, na tlangai loe naah maw caeh ving boeh? Anih to kang pakrong pae o thai hanah, na tlangai loe nabangah maw loklam amkhraeng ving boeh?
Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee.
2 Ka tlangai loe hmuihoih iihkhun ohhaih ahmuen ah, takha thungah tuu to toep moe, lili pawknawk tamuet hanah, angmah ih takha thungah caeh tathuk boeh.
My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.
3 Kai loe ka tlangai ih ni, ka tlangai doeh kai ih ni; anih loe lili pawknawk salakah tuu to pacah.
I [am] my beloved’s, and my beloved [is] mine: he feedeth among the lilies.
4 Aw ka tlangai, nang loe Tirzah baktiah, krang na hoih, Jerusalem baktiah palung han akap moe, thacak pazawkhaih kahni sin misatuh kami ih mikhmai baktiah zitthoh.
Thou [art] beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as [an army] with banners.
5 Kai khae hoiah na mik to paqoi ving ah, nihcae mah kai ang pazawk o boeh; na sam loe Gilead mae nui ih maeh baktiah oh.
Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair [is] as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead.
6 Na haanawk loe tui amhluk pacoengah angzo, caa kak maeto doeh om ai, caa hnetto kasah boih tuu baktiah oh.
Thy teeth [are] as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and [there is] not one barren among them.
7 Na lupataeh taeng ih naalaking loe pomegranat buhmaeh thingthai ahap baktiah oh.
As a piece of a pomegranate [are] thy temples within thy locks.
8 Siangpahrang loe zu qui tarukto, zula qui tazetto pacoengah, tangla cuem kroeklaek ai tawn cadoeh!
There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number.
My dove, my undefiled is [but] one; she [is] the [only] one of her mother, she [is] the choice [one] of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; [yea], the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.
10 Khrah baktih kamdueng, ni baktiah ka-aang, thacak pazawkhaih kahni sin misatuh kami baktiah zitthoh moe, akhawnbang khodai baktiah aang kami loe mi aa?
Who [is] she [that] looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, [and] terrible as [an army] with banners?
11 Kai loe azawn ih thingthainawk to khet hanah, misurkung tadok tacawt boeh maw, pomegranat buhmaeh kung tadok tacawt boeh maw, tiah khet hanah, takha thungah ka caeh tathuk.
I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, [and] to see whether the vine flourished, [and] the pomegranates budded.
12 To kawng to ka panoek ai naah, ka hinghaih mah, Amminadib ih hrang lakoknawk baktiah ang sak.
Or ever I was aware, my soul made me [like] the chariots of Amminadib.
13 Aw Shulam kami, amlaem let ah, amlaem let ah; nang kang danh o thai hanah, amlaem let ah, amlaem let ah. Tangla ih lok Tipongah misatuh kami abu kamkhueng hnetto ohhaih ahmuen ah hnawhaih khet baktih toengah, Shulam kami to na khet o han loe?
Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies.
