1 To pacoengah angraeng tangkhang nuiah anghnu Anih ih bantang banah kaom ahnuk ahmaa ca kangrik, catui sarihto daeng ih ca tangoengh to ka hnuk.
Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the One seated on the throne. It had writing on both sides and was sealed with seven seals.
2 To naah ca tangoengh hoi catui daeng ih cabu paongh han krah kami loe mi maw? tiah kahang tha kacak vankami maeto ka hnuk.
And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?”
3 To ca tangoengh to khet moe, paongh hanah van ah maw, to tih ai boeh loe long nuiah maw, to tih ai boeh loe long thungah maw kami maeto doeh om ai.
But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look inside it.
4 To cabu to paongh moe, kroek han ih, to tih ai boeh loe khet han krah kami maeto doeh om ai pongah, ka qah khing.
And I began to weep bitterly, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or look inside it.
5 To naah saning coeh kami maeto mah kai khaeah, qah hmah: khenah, David ih Tangzuun ah kaom, Judah acaeng thung hoi tacawt Kaipui mah, ca tangoengh to paongh moe, catui sarihto daengh ih ca tangoeng to khramh hanah pazawk boeh, tiah ang naa.
Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 To naah angraeng tangkhang hoi kahing sak ih hmuen palitonawk um ah, saningcoeh kaminawk um ah, boh tangcae baktiah kangdoe Tuucaa maeto ka hnuk. To Tuucaa loe takii sarihto hoi mik sarihto tawnh, to loe long pum ah patoeh ih Sithaw ih Muithla sarihto ah oh.
Then I saw a Lamb who appeared to have been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which represent the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
7 Anih to angzoh moe, angraeng tangkhang nuiah anghnu Anih bantang ban ih ca tangoengh to a lak.
And He came and took the scroll from the right hand of the One seated on the throne.
8 Anih mah ca tangoeng to lak naah, kahing sak ih hmuen palito hoi saningcoeh pumphae palitonawk Tuucaa hmaa ah khokkhu cangkrawn o. Nihcae boih loe kaciim kaminawk ih lawkthuihaih ah kaom, hmuihoih tui hoiah kakoi katoeng maeto hoi sui boengloeng to tawnh o boih.
When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
9 Nang loe ca tangoengh to lak moe, catui daeng ih ca tangoengh to paongh hanah krak tangak: nang loe na duek boeh moe, acaeng kaminawk, lok congca apae kaminawk, acaeng hoi kami boih thung hoiah kaicae hae Sithaw hanah nangmah ih athii hoiah akrang boeh,
And they sang a new song: “Worthy are You to take the scroll and open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood You purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.
10 kaicae ih Sithaw hmaa ah siangpahrang hoi qaima ah nang ohsak moe, long ukhaih akaa kaicae hanah nang paek, tiah laa kangtha to a sak o.
You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign upon the earth.”
11 Ka khet naah, angraeng tangkhang, kahing sak ih hmuennawk hoi saningcoeh kaminawk ih a taeng hoiah alet sang hato pacoeng, sang hato, alet sangto pacoeng, sangto kaom kanoih parai vankaminawk ih lok to ka thaih.
Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels and living creatures and elders encircling the throne, and their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands.
12 Nihcae mah, Hum ih Tuucaa loe sak thaihaih, angraenghaih, palunghahaih, thacakhaih, pakoehhaih, lensawkhaih hoi tahamhoihaih hnuk han krak tangak, tiah tha hoiah a hang o.
In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
13 To pacoengah van ah kaom, long nuiah kaom, long tlim ah kaom, tuipui hoi a thungah kaom, sak ih hmuennawk boih mah, angraeng tangkhang nuiah anghnu Anih hoi Tuucaa khaeah, tahamhoihaih hoi pakoehhaih, lensawkhaih hoi thacakhaihnawk loe dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to om poe nasoe, tiah thuih o ih lok to ka thaih. (aiōn g165)
And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!” (aiōn g165)
14 To pacoengah kahing moi palitonawk mah, Amen, tiah thuih o. To naah saningcoeh pumphae palito kaminawk mah dungzan hoi dungzan ah kahing Anih to khokkhu cangkrawnhaih hoiah bok o.
And the four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
