1 Vankami sarihtonawk thungah sarihto haih boengloeng kasin, vankami maeto angzoh moe, kai khaeah, Angzo ah, pop parai tuinawk nuiah kanghnu, tangzat zaw nongpata lokcaekhaih to kang patuek han:
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the judgement of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,
2 long siangpahrangnawk loe anih hoiah zaehaih sak o, anih zae sakhaih misurtui mah long kaminawk to paquisak boih boeh, tiah ang naa.
with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality. Those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality.”
3 To pacoengah anih mah praezaek ah Muithla hoi nawnto ang caeh haih: to naah Sithaw ih ahmin kasae thui kaminawk ih ahmin hoiah kakoi lu sarihto hoi takii hato katawn, rong kamling moisan nuiah anghnu nongpata maeto ka hnuk.
He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-coloured beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 To nongpata loe rong kamling hup hoi kathim kahni to angkhuk moe, sui, atho kana thlung, palenawk hoiah amthoep. A ban ah kamhnong hmuen, panuet thok nongpa nonpata zae sakhaih hoiah kakoi sui boengloeng to a sinh.
The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.
5 Anih ih lu pataeh ah, KATHUK HMUEN, KALEN BABYLON VANGPUI, LONG AMHNONGHAIH HOI TANGZATZAW KAMINAWK IH AMNO, tiah tarik.
And on her forehead a name was written, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
6 Kaciim kaminawk ih athii, Jesu hanah lu angpaek kaminawk ih athii hoiah paquih nongpata to ka hnuk: anih to ka hnuk naah, thuilaek ai dawnraihaih hoiah ka oh.
I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.
7 Toe vankami mah, Tipongah dawn na rai loe? Lu sarihto hoi takii hato katawn, nongpata hoi moisan thuikoehhaih tamqulok to kang thuih han, tiah ang naa.
The angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
8 Canghni ah loe na hnuk ih moi kasan to oh, toe vaihi loe om ai boeh; to moi kasan loe anghmat angtaa hanah, kaboeng thai ai kathuk longkhaw thung hoiah tacawt tahang tih: long oh tangsuek nathuem hoi hinghaih cabu thungah ahmin tarik ai ih, long nuiah kaom kaminawk mah kaom tangcae, vaihi kaom ai, angzo hankoi moi kasan to hnuk o naah dawnrai o tih. (Abyssos g12)
The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present. (Abyssos g12)
9 Haeah palunghahaih tawnh han angaih. Sarihto lu loe nongpata anghnuthaih mae sarihto thuih koehhaih ih ni.
Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
10 Siangpahrang sarihto thuih koehhaih ah doeh oh: siangpahrang pangato loe duek o boeh, vaihi maeto hing vop, kalah maeto loe angzo ai vop, anih angzoh naah loe, nawnetta thungah ni om tih.
They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, and the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while.
11 Canghni ah kaom, vaihi kaom ai moisan loe, sarihto haih siangpahrang thungah athum boeh, anih loe tazetto haih siangpahrang ah angzo let tih, toe anih loe anghmaa angtaa tih.
The beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes to destruction.
12 Na hnuk ih takii hato loe, prae ukthaihaih akaa tawn o ai vop siangpahrang hato thuih koehhaih ih ni; nihcae loe atue maeto thungah moisan hoi nawnto siangpahrang ah ukthaihaih akaa to hnu o tih.
The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.
13 Nihcae loe poekhaih maeto tawnh o, angmacae thacakhaih hoi ukthaihaih akaa to moisan hanah paek o tih.
These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.
14 Nihcae loe Tuucaa hoi misa angtuh o tih, toe Anih loe angraengnawk ih Angraeng, siangpahrangnawk ih Siangpahrang ah oh pongah, Tuucaa mah nihcae to pazawk tih: Anih hoi nawnto om kaminawk loe kawk ih kami, qoih ih kami hoi oepthok kami ah oh o.
These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”
15 To naah anih mah kai khaeah, Na hnuk ih tangzat zaw anghnuthaih tuinawk loe kaminawk, pop parai kaminawk, prae kaminawk hoi lok congca apae kaminawk thuih koehhaih ih ni.
He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.
16 Moisan nuiah kaom na hnuk ih takii hato mah tangzat zaw nongpata to hnuma tih, anih to angmabueng omsak ueloe, bangkrai ah omsak tih, anih ih ngan to caa o ueloe, hmai hoiah qoeng o tih.
The ten horns which you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute, will make her desolate, will strip her naked, will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.
17 Sithaw atimhaih akoep hanah, Anih mah siangpahrangnawk poekhaih maeto ah amhongsak moe, angmacae ukthaihaih akaa doeh moisan khaeah a paeksak; Sithaw ih lok akoep ai karoek to nihcae mah to tiah sak o.
For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.
18 Na hnuk ih nongpata loe long nui siangpahrangnawk ukkung kalen vangpui to ni, tiah ang naa.
The woman whom you saw is the great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
