< Saam 94 >

1 Aw Angraeng Sithaw, lu lakung; Aw lu lakung Sithaw, amtueng thuih raeh.
O LORD, God of vengeance, O God of vengeance, shine forth.
2 Aw long lokcaekkung, angthawk ah; amoek kami han katingah tangqum to paek ah.
Rise up, O Judge of the earth; render a reward to the proud.
3 Angraeng, kasae kaminawk loe nasetto maw, kahoih ai kaminawk loe nasetto maw nawm o vop tih?
How long will the wicked, O LORD, how long will the wicked exult?
4 Sethaih sah kaminawk loe amoek o boih, nihcae loe nasetto maw lok kaham lok to apae o vop tih?
They pour out arrogant words; all workers of iniquity boast.
5 Aw Angraeng, nihcae mah nang ih kaminawk to atit o moe, na qawktoep kaminawk to pacaekthlaek o.
They crush Your people, O LORD; they oppress Your heritage.
6 Lamhmainawk, angvinnawk hoi ampa tawn ai kaminawk to a hum o.
They kill the widow and the foreigner; they murder the fatherless.
7 Angraeng mah hnu mak ai hmang, Jakob ih Sithaw mah doeh dawncang mak ai, tiah a thuih o.
They say, “The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed.”
8 Minawk salakah kaom poekhaih tawn ai kaminawk, panoek oh; kamthu kaminawk, natuek naah maw palung na haa o tih?
Take notice, O senseless among the people! O fools, when will you be wise?
9 Naa sahkung mah loe thaih mak ai maw? Mik sahkung mah loe hnu mak ai maw?
He who affixed the ear, can He not hear? He who formed the eye, can He not see?
10 Sithaw panoek ai kami thuitaekkung mah loe, danpaek ai ah om tih maw? Kami palunghahaih patukkung loe, panoekhaih tawn ai maw?
He who admonishes the nations, does He not discipline? He who teaches man, does He lack knowledge?
11 Kami poekhaih loe azom pui ni, tiah Angraeng mah panoek.
The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.
12 Aw Angraeng, kasae kami hanah tangqom takae ai karoek to, karai tonghaih niah anih to nang haksak hanah, na thuihtaek moe, na lok patuk ih kami loe tahamhoih.
Blessed is the man You discipline, O LORD, and teach from Your law,
to grant him relief from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked.
14 Angraeng mah angmah ih kaminawk to pahnawt sut mak ai, angmah ih qawktoep kaminawk doeh prawtsut mak ai.
For the LORD will not forsake His people; He will never abandon His heritage.
15 Toenghaih nuiah lokcaekhaih to om tih, poektoeng kaminawk boih loe to hmuen to pazui o tih.
Surely judgment will again be righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.
16 Kasae kaminawk tuk hanah mi maw kai hanah angthawk tih? To tih ai boeh loe kasae sah kaminawk tuk hanah mi maw kai han angdoe tih?
Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Angraeng mah na bomh ai nahaeloe, akra ai ah ka hinghaih hae amding rue duekhaih ahmuen ah ka om tih boeh.
Unless the LORD had been my helper, I would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.
18 Kai mah, Ka khok loe amthaek boeh, tiah ka thuih naah, Aw Angraeng, na palungnathaih hoiah kai to nang patawnh.
If I say, “My foot is slipping,” Your loving devotion, O LORD, supports me.
19 Ka palung thung poekhaih angpung sut naah, ka hinghaih to nang hoesak.
When anxiety overwhelms me, Your consolation delights my soul.
20 Toeng ai ah lokcaek kaminawk to na koeh ai, kamro angraeng tangkhang loe nang hoiah angkomhaih oh maw?
Can a corrupt throne be Your ally— one devising mischief by decree?
21 Nihcae loe katoeng kami hinghaih to lak hanah, amkhueng o moe, zaehaih tawn ai kami hum hanah khokhan o.
They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.
22 Toe Angraeng loe kacak kai ih sipae ah oh; ka Sithaw loe ka buephaih lungsong ah oh.
But the LORD has been my stronghold, and my God is my rock of refuge.
23 Angraeng mah nihcae zaehaih to angmacae nuiah krahsak ueloe, kasae a sak o haih pongah nihcae to amrosak tih; ue, aicae Angraeng Sithaw mah nihcae to paro tih.
He will bring upon them their own iniquity and destroy them for their wickedness. The LORD our God will destroy them.
