< Saam 77 >
1 Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah. Jeduthun ah sak koi Asaph ih Saam laa. Sithaw khaeah ka hangh; ka hangh naah, anih mah ka lok ang tahngaih pae.
To the Chief Musician. On "Jeduthun." Asaph’s, a Melody. With my voice—unto God, will I make outcry, With my voice unto God, and he will give ear unto me;
2 Raihaih ka tong naah Angraeng to ka pakrong; angpho ai ah aqum ah ban ka payangh; ka hinghaih mah pathloephaih to koeh ai.
In the day of my distress—unto My Lord, will I seek, My hand, by night, hath been outstretched and never once became slack, My soul, hath refused to be consoled;
3 Sithaw ka poek moe, raihaih ka tong; ka poek het naah ka muithla angpho. (Selah)
I remember God and I murmur, I muse, and my spirit swooneth. (Selah)
4 Nang mah ka mik pakhrip thai ai ah nang suek; raihaih ka tong pongah lok ka pae thai ai.
Thou hast held, watching, mine eyes, I was driven to and fro, and could not speak;
5 Kalaem tangcae aninawk hoi canghnii ih adungnawk to ka poek.
I reasoned, Of the days of aforetime, Of the years of by-gone ages;
6 Aqum ah kaimah ih laa to ka poek; kaimah ih palung hoiah lok ka paeh hoi; to naah ka muithla mah lok ang dueng.
I remember my song in the night, —With my own heart, I commune, And my spirit, maketh search: —
7 Angraeng mah dungzan khoek to pahnawt tih boeh maw? A tahmenhaih amtuengsak mak ai boeh maw?
For ages, will My Lord reject? And, not again, grant acceptance any more?
8 A palungnathaih to dungzan khoek to boeng tih boeh maw? A lokkamhaih doeh amro poe tih boeh maw?
Hath his lovingkindness, come to a perpetual end? Hath his word failed to generation after generation?
9 Tahmen hanah Sithaw mah pahnet boeh maw? Palungphui pongah palungnathaih thok to khah ving boeh maw? (Selah)
Hath GOD, forgotten to show favour? Or hath he shut up, in anger, his compassions? (Selah)
10 To naah raihaih ka tong; toe Kasang koek bantang ban hoiah sak ih saningnawk to ka poek han, tiah ka thuih.
Then said I—An affliction to me, it is, The changing of the right hand of the Most High.
11 Angraeng mah sak ih hmuennawk to ka poek han; canghnii ah na sak ih dawnrai hmuennawk to ka pakuem poe han.
I will remember the doings of Yah, Surely I will remember, out of aforetime, thy wonderful way;
12 Na toksakhaihnawk boih to ka poek moe, na toksakhaihnawk to ka thuih han.
And will talk to myself of all thy work, And, of thy doings, will I muse: —
13 Aw Sithaw, na loklam loe ciim; aicae Sithaw baktiah lensawk Sithaw mi maw om vop?
O God, in the sanctuary, is thy way, —Who is a great GOD like Elohim?
14 Nang loe dawnrai hmuennawk sah Sithaw ah na oh; na thacakhaih to minawk salakah nam tuengsak.
Thou, art GOD, doing wonderfully, —Thou hast made known, among the peoples, thy might;
15 Na ban thacakhaih hoiah nangmah ih kaminawk, Jakob hoi Joseph ih caanawk to na pahlong. (Selah)
Thou didst redeem, with thine arm—Thy people, Thy sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 Aw Sithaw, tuinawk mah nang ang hnuk o; tuinawk mah nang ang hnuk o naah, ang zit o; kathuk tuinawk doeh tasoeh o.
The waters saw thee, O God, The waters saw thee, They were in birth-throes, Yea the resounding deeps were stirred;
17 Tamainawk mah tui to kraih o; vannawk ah khopazih; nang ih kaliinawk doeh ahmuen kruekah krak o.
The clouds, poured down waters, The skies uttered, a voice, Yea, thine arrows, flew hither and thither;
18 Nang ih khopazih tuen loe van ah oh; tangphrapuekhaih mah long to toeh; long loe tasoeh moe, anghuenh.
The, voice of thy thunder, was in the whirlwind, Thy lightnings illumined the world, The earth, trembled and quaked;
19 Na loklam loe tuipui thungah oh, na caehhaih loklam loe kalen tuipuinawk thungah oh, na khok tangkannawk loe amtueng ai.
In the sea, was thy way, And, thy path, in the mighty waters, And, thy footprints, could not be known:
20 Mosi hoi Aaron ih ban hoiah nangmah ih kaminawk to tuunawk baktiah na hoih.
Thou didst lead, like a flock, thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
