People in Judah know God; the Israeli people honor him [MTY].
2 Ani ih kahni im loe Salem ah oh, anih oh ohhaih ahmuen loe Zion mae ah oh.
His home is in Jerusalem; he lives on Zion [Hill].
3 To ahmuen ah kalii, palaanawk, angvaenghaih sumsen, misatukhaih hmuennawk to na paro pae boih boeh. (Selah)
There he broke the flaming arrows [that his enemies shot], [and he also broke] their shields and swords and other weapons that they used in battles.
4 Nang loe moinawk prathaih maenawk pongah doeh na len moe, na hoih kue.
God, you are glorious! You are like a king [as you return from] the mountains [where you defeated your enemies].
5 Misahoih kaminawk to lomh o boeh; iih angmuethaih mah nihcae to muek boeh; thacak kaminawk mi mah doeh nihcae ih ban to hnu o ai.
Their brave soldiers [were killed, and then those who killed them] took away everything that those soldiers had. Those enemies died [EUP], [so] they were unable to use their weapons [any more]!
6 Aw Jakob Sithaw, na thuitaekhaih rang hoiah hrang lakok hoi hrangnawk to na iihsak muen boeh.
When you, the God whom Jacob [worshiped], rebuked [your enemies], [the result was that their] horses and their riders fell down dead.
7 Zit han koi kaom loe nang khue ni; palung na phui naah mi maw na hmaa ah angdoe thai tih?
But you cause everyone to be afraid. When you are angry [and you punish people], no one can [RHQ] endure it.
8 Na lokcaekhaih to van hoiah na taphong;
From heaven you proclaimed that you would judge people, [and then everyone on] the earth was afraid and did not say [anything more],
9 long nui ih poeknaem kaminawk to pahlong boih hanah, Sithaw mah lokcaek han angdoet tahang naah, long loe zit moe, angam sut. (Selah)
when you arose to declare that you would punish [wicked people] and rescue all those whom they had oppressed.
10 Tangtang ni palungphui kaminawk mah nang to saphaw o tih; kadip thai ai palungphuihaih mah nang to zaeng tih.
When [you punish those] with whom you are angry, your people will praise you, and [your enemies] who (survive/are not killed) will worship you on your festival days.
11 Na Angraeng Sithaw khaeah na lokkamhaih to akoepsak ah; ataeng ah kaom kaminawk boih mah zit kaom anih khaeah, tangqumnawk to sin o nasoe.
[So] give to Yahweh the offerings that you promised to give to him; all the people of nearby people-groups should also bring gifts to him, the one who is awesome.
12 Anih mah angraengnawk ih poekhaih to pahnaem pae tih; anih loe long siangpahrangnawk hanah zit thoh.
He humbles [IDM] princes, and [even] causes [great] kings to be terrified.
