< Saam 75 >
1 Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah. Altashit ah sak koi Asaph ih Saam laa. Aw Sithaw, anghoehaih lok kang thuih o; nang khaeah anghoehaih lawk kang thuih o; na hmin loe anghnaih boeh, tiah dawnrai na toksakhaih hmuennawk mah amtuengsak.
For the chief musician; set to Al Tashheth. A psalm of Asaph, a song. We give thanks to you, God; we give thanks, for you reveal your presence; people tell of your wondrous works.
2 Kahoih atue khaehhaih to ka hnuk naah, katoeng ah lok ka caek han.
At the appointed time I will judge fairly.
3 Long hoi kaminawk boih tasoeh o naah, tungnawk to kacakah ka patawnh pae. (Selah)
Though the earth and all the inhabitants shake in fear, I make steady the earth's pillars. (Selah)
4 Kamthunawk khaeah, amthu o hmah lai ah; kasae kaminawk khaeah, taki pathawk tahang hmah;
I said to the arrogant, “Do not be arrogant,” and to the wicked, “Do not lift up the horn.
5 na taki to van bangah pathawk tahang hmah; tahnong payuengh tahanghaih hoiah lok to thui hmah, tiah ka naa.
Do not lift up your horn to the heights; do not speak with an insolent neck.”
6 Pakoehhaih loe ni angyae bang, niduem bang, to tih ai boeh loe aloih bang hoiah doeh angzo ai.
It is not from the east or from the west, and it is not from the wilderness that lifting up comes.
7 Toe lokcaekkung loe Sithaw ni; maeto loe pakhrak tathuk, maeto loe pasangh tahang.
But God is the judge; he brings down and he lifts up.
8 Angraeng ban ah boengloeng maeto oh; misurtui loe thim moe, ahmui congca hoi angbaeh; anih mah to misurtui to kraih; kanghmat to long ih kasae kaminawk boih mah naek o.
For Yahweh holds in his hand a cup of foaming wine, which is mixed with spices, and pours it out. Surely all the wicked of the earth will drink it to the last drop.
9 Toe kai loe dungzan khoek to ka taphong han; Jakob ih Sithaw khaeah pakoehhaih laa to ka sak han.
But I will continually tell what you have done; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 Kasae kaminawk ih takiinawk to ka boeng pae boih han; toe katoeng kaminawk ih taki loe pakoehhaih om tih.
He says, “I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be raised up.”
