< Saam 68 >
1 Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah. David ih Saam laa. Sithaw loe angthawk nasoe, anih ih misanawk loe anghaeh o phang nasoe.
To the chief music-maker. Of David. A Psalm. A Song. Let God be seen, and let his haters be put to flight; let those who are against him be turned back before him.
2 Takhi mah hmaikhue hmuh phaeng baktih toengah, nihcae to hmut phaeng ah; hmai pongah amkaw dui samdai baktiah, kasae kaminawk loe Sithaw hmaa ah anghma angtaa o nasoe.
Let them be like smoke before the driving wind; as wax turning soft before the fire, so let them come to an end before the power of God.
3 Toe katoeng kaminawk loe anghoe o nasoe; nihcae loe Sithaw hmaa ah oep o nasoe; ue, paroeai anghoe o nasoe.
But let the upright be glad; let them have delight before God; let them be full of joy.
4 Sithaw khaeah laasah oh; ahmin saphawhaih laa to sah oh; tamai nuiah angthueng anih to pakoeh oh; anih ih ahmin loe YAH, anih hmaa ah anghoe oh.
Make songs to God, make songs of praise to his name; make a way for him who comes through the waste lands; his name is Jah; be glad before him.
5 Anih loe ampa tawn ai kaminawk hanah ampa ah oh moe, lamhmainawk bomkung ah oh, Sithaw loe a ohhaih hmuenciim ah oh.
A father to those who have no father, a judge of the widows, is God in his holy place.
6 Sithaw mah angmabueng kaom kami to imthong ah angcoengsak; thongkrah kaminawk doeh a loihsak; toe lok angaek thaih kaminawk loe prae karoem ah oh o.
Those who are without friends, God puts in families; he makes free those who are in chains; but those who are turned away from him are given a dry land.
7 Aw Sithaw, nang loe nangmah ih kaminawk hmaa ah na caeh moe, praezaek hoi na caeh haih naah, (Selah)
O God, when you went out before your people, wandering through the waste land; (Selah)
8 Sithaw hmaa ah, long to anghuenh, van hoiah kho angzoh; Sinai mae loe Sithaw, Israel Sithaw hmaa ah anghuenh.
The earth was shaking and the heavens were streaming, because God was present; even Sinai itself was moved before God, the God of Israel.
9 Aw Sithaw, nangmah pop parai ah kho nang zohsak; thazai sut na qawktoep kaminawk to na bomh boeh.
You, O God, did freely send the rain, giving strength to the weariness of your heritage.
10 Nangmah ih kaminawk loe athung ah oh o; Aw Sithaw, na angraenghaih thung hoiah amtang kaminawk to na pacah.
Those whose resting-place was there, even the poor, were comforted by your good things, O God.
11 Angraeng mah thuih ih lok taphong kaminawk loe noih o parai:
The Lord gives the word; great is the number of the women who make it public.
12 siangpahrangnawk ih misatuh kaminawk loe, tawt hoiah cawnh o; im ah kaom kaminawk loe lak ih hmuenmaenawk to amzet o.
Kings of armies quickly go in flight: and the women in the houses make a division of their goods.
13 Nangcae loe mae salakah na iih o cadoeh, sumkanglung hoi pazut ih pahuu pakhraeh baktiah na om o ueloe, amuinawk doeh sui rong baktiah ampha tih.
Will you take your rest among the flocks? like the wings of a dove covered with silver, and its feathers with yellow gold.
14 Thacak Angraeng mah siangpahrangnawk prae thungah anghaehsak phang naah, Salmon mae nuiah dantui kanglung baktiah oh o.
When the Most High put the kings to flight, it was as white as snow in Salmon.
15 Sithaw ih mae loe Bashan mae baktiah oh; kasang mae doeh Bashan mae baktiah ni oh.
A hill of God is the hill of Bashan; a hill with high tops is the hill of Bashan.
16 Maesangnawk, athung ah oh hanah Sithaw mah qoih ih mae; ue, dungzan khoek to Angraeng ohhaih mae to, tih hanah uthaih hoiah na khet o loe?
Why are you looking with envy, you high hills, on the hill desired by God as his resting-place? truly, God will make it his house for ever.
17 Sithaw misatukhaih hrangleeng loe sang pumphaeto oh, vankaminawk loe sangto pacoeng sangto oh o; Angraeng loe nihcae salakah oh, Sinai mae loe angmah ih hmuenciim ah oh.
The war-carriage of God is among Israel's thousands; the Lord has come from Sinai to the holy place.
18 Nang loe hmuensang ah na dawh tahang moe, misong ah naeh ih kaminawk to na hoih tahang; ue, Angraeng Sithaw nihcae salakah oh thaih hanah, kaminawk han khue ai, angaek thaih kaminawk han doeh, tangqum to na talawk pae.
You have gone up on high, taking your prisoners with you; you have taken offerings from men; the Lord God has taken his place on the seat of his power.
19 Ni thokkruek aicae ih hmuenzit phaw Angraeng, aicae pahlongkung, Sithaw loe tahamhoihaih om nasoe. (Selah)
Praise be to the Lord, who is our support day by day, even the God of our salvation. (Selah)
20 Anih loe aicae ih Sithaw, pahlonghaih Sithaw ah oh; Angraeng Sithaw loe duekhaih thung hoi loihaih ah oh.
Our God is for us a God of salvation; his are the ways out of death.
21 A misanawk ih lu, zaehaih sah kaminawk ih sam kathah lunawk to, caeh taak ai ah Sithaw mah atii tih.
The heads of the haters of God will be crushed; even the head of him who still goes on in his evil ways.
22 Angraeng mah, nihcae to Bashan hoi kang zoh haih let han, kaimah ih kaminawk to kathuk tuipui thung hoiah kang hoih let han,
The Lord said, I will make them come back from Bashan, and from the deep parts of the sea;
23 na misanawk ih athii to khok hoiah na cawh ueloe, nang ih uinawk mah doeh athii to palaek o tih, tiah thuih.
So that your foot may be red with blood, and the tongues of your dogs with the same.
24 Aw Sithaw, hmuenciim ah nang zohhaih to nihcae mah hnuk o boeh, ka Sithaw, ka Siangpahrang angzohhaih to nihcae mah hnuk o boeh.
We see your going, O God: even the going of my God, my King, into the holy place.
25 Laasah kaminawk loe hmabang ah caeh o, katoeng tamoi congca kruek kaminawk hoi nihcae salakah cingceng bop tanglanawk loe, anih hnuk ah bang o.
The makers of songs go before, the players of music come after, among the young girls playing on brass instruments.
26 Israel kaminawk, kami pop amkhuenghaih ahmuen ah, Sithaw to tahamhoihaih paek oh.
Give praise to God in the great meeting; even the Lord, you who come from the fountain of Israel.
27 Benjamin acaeng zetta thung hoi ih nihcae zaehoikung, Judah ih angraengnawk, Zebulun ih angraengnawk hoi Nephtali ih angraengnawk to athum o.
There is little Benjamin ruling them, the chiefs of Judah and their army, the rulers of Zebulun and the rulers of Naphtali.
28 Aw Sithaw, thacaksak ah, Sithaw, kaicae khae na sak ih baktih toengah, na thacakhaih to na patuek ah.
O God, send out your strength; the strength, O God, with which you have done great things for us,
29 Na tempul loe Jerusalem ah oh pongah, siangpahrangnawk mah nang khaeah tangqum sin o nasoe.
Out of your Temple in Jerusalem.
30 Tuu thung ih kasan moinawk, maitaw taenawk hoi kaminawk ih maitaw caanawk to thuitaek ah, kami boih mah sumkanglung sin o nasoe loe, mi tlim ah om o nasoe; misa koeh kaminawk to anghaehsak phang ah.
Say sharp words to the beast among the water-plants, the band of strong ones, with the lords of the peoples, put an end to the people whose delight is in war.
31 Laicaehnawk loe Izip prae thung hoiah angzo o tih; Ethiopia loe Sithaw khaeah ban payangh ueloe, ang paek tih.
Kings will give you offerings, they will come out of Egypt; from Pathros will come offerings of silver; Ethiopia will be stretching out her hands to God.
32 Long ih praenawk, Sithaw khaeah laasah oh; Angraeng saphawhaih laa to sah oh, (Selah)
Make songs to God, you kingdoms of the earth; O make songs of praise to the Lord; (Selah)
33 tangsuek hoi vannawk nui ih van angthueng, Anih khaeah, saphawhaih laa to sah oh; khenah, anih mah lok tacawtsak naah, thacak parai lok ah angcoeng.
To him who goes or the clouds of heaven, the heaven which was from earliest times; he sends out his voice of power.
34 Sithaw loe thacak, tiah thui oh; a lensawkhaih loe Israel caanawk nuiah oh moe, a thacakhaih doeh tamai nuiah amtueng.
Make clear that strength is God's: he is lifted up over Israel, and his power is in the clouds.
35 Aw Sithaw, kaciim angmah ih hmuenciimnawk thungah kaom nang loe zitthoh; Israel Sithaw loe, angmah ih kaminawk hanah thacakhaih hoi sakthaihaih paekkung ah oh. Sithaw loe tahamhoihaih om nasoe!
O God, you are to be feared in your holy place: the God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God.
