God, be merciful to us and bless us; be kind to us [IDM],

2 Na loklam to long nuiah panoek o nasoe loe, kaminawk boih mah na pahlonghaih to panoek o nasoe.

in order that [everyone in] the world may know what you want them to do, and [the people of] all nations may know that you [have the power to] save [them].

3 Aw Sithaw, kaminawk mah nang to saphaw o nasoe loe, kaminawk boih mah nang saphaw o nasoe.

God, I desire that [all] people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!

4 Prae kaminawk anghoe o nasoe loe, anghoehaih laa to sah o nasoe; nang loe toenghaih hoiah kaminawk to lok na caek tih, long nuiah prae kaminawk to uk tih. (Selah)

I desire that [the people of all] nations will be glad and sing joyfully, because you judge the people-groups equally/justly, and you guide [all] nations in the world.

5 Aw Sithaw, kaminawk mah nang to saphaw o nasoe loe, kaminawk boih mah nang to saphaw o nasoe.

God, I desire that the people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!

6 Long mah athaih tacawtsak ueloe, Sithaw, aicae ih Sithaw mah tahamhoihaih paek tih.

Good crops have grown on our land; God, our God, has blessed us.

7 Sithaw mah aicae tahamhoihaih na paek tih; long boenghaih ah kaom kaminawk boih mah doeh anih to zii o tih.

[And because] God has blessed us, I desire that all [people] everywhere [MTY] on the earth will revere him.
