[For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthan. A Psalm by David.] My soul rests in God alone, for my salvation is from him.

He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress—I will never be upended.

How long will you assault a man, would all of you throw him down, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?

They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
5 Ka hinghaih loe, laisaep ai ah Sithaw khue ni zing; ka oephaih doeh anih khae hoiah ni angzoh.
My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
6 Anih khue ni ka lungsong hoi ka pahlonghaih ah oh; anih loe kai ih sipae ah oh pongah, mawnh paraihaih ka tawn mak ai.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be upended.
7 Ka pahlonghaih hoi ka lensawkhaih loe Sithaw khaeah ni oh; ka thacakhaih lungsong hoi ka buephaih loe Sithaw ni.
With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 Aw kaminawk, anih khaeah amha o poe ah loe, anih khaeah palungthin to paek oh; Sithaw loe aicae abuephaih ah oh. (Selah)
Trust in him at all times, O people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. (Selah)
9 Tangtang ni, khosak kahnaem kaminawk loe takhi khue ah ni oh o, khosak sang kaminawk doeh amsawnlok thui kami ah ni oh o; tahhaih hoiah tah naah, nihcae loe takhi pongah anghoep o kue.
Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
10 Pacaekthlaekhaih to oep hmah loe, lomh ih hmuenmae pongah doeh amoek o hmah; hmuenmae hoi angraeng parai naah, to hmuenmae nuiah na poekhaih suem hmah.
Do not trust in oppression. Do not become vain in robbery. If riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
11 Sithaw mah lok vaito thuih; vai hnetto thuih naah, thacakhaih loe Sithaw ih ni, tiah ka thaih.
God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.
12 Aw Angraeng, nang loe palungnathaih hoiah na koi; nang loe kaminawk boih hanah a tok sakhaih baktih toengah tangqum to na paek.
Also to you, LORD, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.
