1 Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah, Korah caanawk ih Alamoth laa. Sithaw loe aicae abuephaih hoi thacakhaih ah oh, raihaih tong naah bomkung ah oh, tiah amtueng.
To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 To pongah long hae angthui moe, maenawk tuipui thungah amtim cadoeh, ka zii o mak ai;
Therefore will we not fear, though the earth shall be removed, and though the mountains shall be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 tuipuinawk angthawk o moe, raihaih pha cadoeh, tuiphu angthawk moe, maenawk anghuen langlacadoeh, ka zii o mak ai. (Selah)
[Though] its waters shall roar [and] be disturbed, [though] the mountains shake with the swelling of it. (Selah)
4 Vapui maeto oh, to vapui mah loe Kasang Koek ih kahni im ohhaih hmuenciim, Sithaw vangpui to anghoesak.
[There is] a river, the streams of which shall make glad the city of God, the holy [place] of the tabernacles of the Most High.
5 To vangpui thungah Sithaw oh pongah, amtim mak ai: khawnthaw khodai ah Sithaw mah abom tih.
God [is] in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, [and that] right early.
6 Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk loe tasoehaih hoiah hang o, praenawk loe thazok o, anih ih lok hoiah long loe atui amkaw.
The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 Misatuh Angraeng loe aicae khaeah oh; Jakob ih Sithaw loe aicae abuephaih ah oh. (Selah)
The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. (Selah)
8 Angzo ah loe Angraeng mah long nuiah sak ih amrohaih hmuennawk hae khenah.
Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 Long boeng khoek to misa amdinghaih a sak; anih mah kalii to khaeh pae moe, tayae doeh angkhaehsak; anih mah hrang lakok to hmai thlaek pae.
He maketh wars to cease to the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear asunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10 Anghngai o duem ah loe, kai loe Sithaw ni, tiah panoek oh; prae kaminawk salakah kai nang pakoeh o ueloe, long ah nang pakoeh o tih.
Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11 Misatuh Angraeng loe aicae hoi nawnto oh; Jakob ih Sithaw loe aicae abuephaih ah oh.
The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. (Selah)
