1 Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah, Korah caanawk ih Maskil zuva ih laa. A oih ih bungmu loe Liliies. Kai ih palungthin loe hoihaih hoiah angphui tahang moe, ka sak atimhaih to siangpahrang hmaa ah ka thuih: ka palai loe ca tarik kop kami ih cacung ah oh.
To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made concerning the king: my tongue [is] the pen of a ready writer.
2 Nang loe kaminawk pongah na hoih kue: na pahni loe tahmenhaih hoiah koi: to pongah Sithaw mah dungzan khoek to tahamhoihaih ang paek.
Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
3 Aw thacak koek, na lensawkhaih hoi na thacakhaih hoiah, na sumsen to na phaih nuiah angnaeng ah.
Gird thy sword upon [thy] thigh, O [most] mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
4 Loktang ah ohhaih, poeknaemhaih, na toenghaih ah na lensawkhaih to amtueng moe, hmabang ah caeh poe; na bantang ban mah zitthok hmuennawk to na patuek tih.
And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
5 Kanoe nang ih palaanawk mah siangpahrang misanawk ih palung thuem ah kah pae, to naah kaminawk loe na khok tlim ah amtim o.
Thy arrows [are] sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; [by which] the people fall under thee.
6 Aw Sithaw, na angraeng tangkhang loe dungzan khoek to cak: na prae ukhaih cunghet loe toenghaih cunghet ah oh.
Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom [is] a scepter of justice.
7 Nang loe toenghaih to na koeh moe, sethaih to na hnukma: to pongah Sithaw, na Sithaw mah, nam puinawk pong kamthlai ah, anghoehaih situi hoiah ang bawh.
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
8 Tasaino hoi sak ih siangpahrang imthung hoiah lak ih, myrrh, aloes, hmuihoih thing hoi khukbuennawk mah, nang han palung anghoesak.
All thy garments [smell] of myrrh, and aloes, [and] cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made thee glad.
9 Siangpahrang ih canunawk loe na khingya han koi nongpatanawk thungah athum o: na bantang bangah loe Ophir sui hoiah amthoep siangpahrang zu to angdoet.
Kings daughters [were] among thy honorable women: upon thy right hand stood the queen in gold of Ophir.
10 Aw canu, tahngai ah, na naa to patuengh loe poek ah; nangmah ih kaminawk hoi nam pa im doeh pahnet lai ah;
Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thy ear; forget also thy own people, and thy father's house;
11 na kranghoihaih mah siangpahrang to anghoesak tih: anih loe na Angraeng ah oh pongah, anih to pakoeh ah.
So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he [is] thy lord; and worship thou him.
12 Tura canu loe tangqum sin ueloe, angzo tih; angraengnawk mah doeh na koehhaih sak hanah na hni o tih.
And the daughter of Tyre [shall be there] with a gift; [even] the rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.
13 Siangpahrang canu loe athung ah lensawkhaihnawk boih hoiah oh: anih loe sui hoiah sak ih khukbuen to angkhuk.
The king's daughter [is] all glorious within: her clothing [is] of wrought gold.
14 Anih to angan hoih parai rong congca khukbuen hoiah amthoep o sak ueloe, siangpahrang khaeah caeh o haih tih: anih hnukbang tangla hoi ampuinawk doeh, nang khaeah hoi o tih.
She shall be brought to the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought to thee.
15 Anghoehaih hoiah nihcae to hoi o ueloe, siangpahrang ohhaih imthung ah akun o haih tih.
With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
16 Na caanawk mah nam panawk ih ahmuen to la o ueloe, long nui boih ah nihcae to angraeng ah na omsak tih.
Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
17 Na hmin to adung maeto pacoeng maeto pahnet thai han ai ah ka sak han, to ah kaminawk boih mah nang hae dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to pakoeh o tih boeh.
I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
