1 Aw Sithaw, toenghaih amtuengsak ah, Sithaw panoek ai acaeng khaeah ka toenghaih to thui ah: aling thaih kami, kasae kaminawk ban thung hoiah na pahlong ah.
Judge me, O God, And plead my cause against a nation not pious, You deliver me from a man of deceit and perverseness,
2 Nang loe ka thacakhaih Sithaw ah na oh: tipongah nang pahnawt ving loe? Tipongah ka misa mah kai pacaekthlaek moe, palungsethaih hoiah ka oh loe?
For you [are] the God of my strength. Why have You cast me off? Why do I go up and down mourning, In the oppression of an enemy?
3 Na aanghaih hoi loktang to na patoeh ah: nihcae mah kai na caeh o haih nasoe loe, nihcae mah na ohhaih kaciim mae hoi kahni im ah na caeh haih nasoe.
Send forth Your light and Your truth, They lead me, they bring me in, To Your holy hill, and to Your dwelling places.
4 To tiah nahaeloe Sithaw hmaicam ohhaih ahmuen ah, kang hoehaih hoi kang hoehaih Sithaw khaeah ka caeh han: Aw Sithaw, ka Sithaw, katoeng kruekhaih hoiah nang kang pakoeh han.
And I go to the altar of God, To God, the joy of my rejoicing. And I thank You with a harp, O God, my God.
5 Aw ka hinghaih, tipongah na ngam sut loe? Tipongah ka palung thungah dawnraihaih hoiah na oh loe? Sithaw to oep ah: kai pahlongkung, ka bok ih Sithaw hoihhaih to ka pakoeh han vop.
Why bow yourself, O my soul? And why are you troubled within me? Wait for God, for I still confess Him, The salvation of my countenance, and my God!
