“To the chief musician on Neginoth, a psalm of David.” When I call, answer me, O God of my righteousness: amidst distress thou hast [ever] granted me enlargement; be gracious unto me, and hear my prayer.
2 Aw kaminawk, ka lensawkhaih hae nasetto maw azat nang paw o sak han vop? Nasetto maw avang ai hmuen to na palung o moe, lok amlaihaih na pakrong o han vop? (Selah)
O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be put to shame? [how long] will ye love vanity, will ye seek for lies? (Selah)
3 Toe Sithaw panoek kami loe Sithaw mah Angmah hanah pahoe boeh, tiah panoek oh: anih to ka kawk naah Angraeng mah na pathim tih.
But know that the Lord hath set apart the pious for himself: the Lord will hear when I call on him.

Tremble, and sin not: commune with your heart upon your bed, and be still (Selah)
5 Katoeng hmuenpaekhaih to sah oh loe, Angraeng to oep oh.
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.
6 Mi mah maw aicae han kahoih hmuen patuek tih? tiah thui kami paroeai oh. Angraeng, na mikhmai aanghaih to kaicae nuiah amtuengsak ah.
Many say, “Who will show us happiness? Let shine brightly over us the light of thy countenance, O Lord.”
7 Cang to hak o moe, misurthaih hak o nathuem ih nihcae anghoehaih pongah doeh, ka palung thungah anghoehaih pop kue ah nang suek pae.
[But] thou hast placed more joy in my heart than at the time when their corn and their wine were increased.

In peace, altogether, will I lay me down and sleep; for thou, Lord, alone, causest me to dwell in safety.
