1 Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah, Angraeng ih tamna David ih Saam laa. Kasae kami zaehaih mah ka palung thungah lok ang thuih: Anih loe mik ah Sithaw zithaih roe tawn ai.
[Wicked people continually desire to] sin. They consider [IDM] that they do not need to revere God.
2 Panuet thok angmah ih zaehaih to hnu ai, angmah hoi angmah to kahoih baktiah a hnuk.
Because they are very proud, they do not think that God will discover their sins and condemn them (OR, they do not think about their sins and hate themselves for it).
3 Anih pakha thung ih loknawk loe sethaih hoi alinghaih khue ni oh: hoihaih paek thaih palunghahaih to a caehtaak boeh.
[Everything] that they say is deceitful and full of lies; they no longer do what is good and are no longer wise.
4 Anih loe iihhaih ahmuen ah oh naah mataeng doeh kasae khue ni poek; kahoih ai loklam to a pazui, sethaih tuinuen to panuet ai.
While they are lying on their beds, they plan to do things to harm [others]; they are determined to do things that are not good, and they never refuse [to do what is] evil.
5 Aw Angraeng, na palungnathaih mah vannawk to phak moe, na oep thohhaih loe tamai khoek to phak boeh.
Yahweh, your faithful love for us reaches as high as the heavens, you faithfully [do what you have promised]; [it is as though your doing that] extends up to the clouds.
6 Na toenghaih loe mae pui baktiah oh; na lokcaekhaih loe thuk parai: Aw Angraeng, nang mah ni kami hoi taw ih moinawk to na khetzawn.
Your righteous behavior is [as permanent as] the highest mountains [MET], your acting justly [will continue as long as] the deepest oceans [exist]. You take care of people and you take care of animals.
7 Aw Sithaw, nam lunghaih loe kawkruk maw hoih! To pongah ni kaminawk loe na pakhraeh tahlip ah abuep o.
God, your faithful love for us is very precious. You protect us like birds protect their baby birds under their wings [MET].
8 Na im thung ih angraenghaih mah nihcae to palung khuek tihsak ueloe, nang hoehaih vapui tui to nihcae han na naesak tih.
You provide for us plenty of food from the abundant supply [IDM] that you have; your great blessings for us [flow] like a river.
9 Hinghaih tuibap loe nang khaeah ni oh: na aanghaih mah kaicae han aanghaih to paek.
You are the one who causes everything to live; your light is what enables us to see.
10 Nang panoek kaminawk khaeah nam lunghaih to omsak poeh loe, poek toeng kaminawk khaeah na toenghaih to omsak poe ah.
Continue to faithfully love those who have experienced a relationship with you, and bless those who act righteously/justly.
11 Amoek kami ih khok to kai khaeah angzosak hmah, kasae kami ih ban mah doeh kai hae na tahruet hmah nasoe.
Do not allow proud people [SYN] to attack me, or allow wicked people to chase me away.
12 Kahoih ai hmuen sah kaminawk loe amtimh o: nihcae loe amtimh o moe, angthawk o thai ai boeh.
Look where evil people have fallen on the ground, defeated; they were thrown down, and they will never rise again.
