1 Nangcae katoeng kaminawk, Angraeng ah anghoe oh: katoeng kaminawk loe saphawhaih laasak han krak.
Shout for joy, ye righteous, in Yahweh, To the upright, seemly is praise.
2 Toenghaih hoiah Angraeng to pakoeh oh: aqui hato kaom katoeng tamoi kruek hoiah anih to pakoeh oh.
Give ye thanks unto Yahweh with the lyre, With a harp of ten strings, make ye music unto him.
3 Anih khaeah laa kangtha to sah oh; mongkah uenghaih hoiah kanawm ah anih to pakoeh oh.
Sing unto him, a song that is new, With skill, sweep the strings, with loud noise.
4 Angraeng ih lok loe toeng; anih ih toknawk boih loe toenghaih hoiah ni sak.
For right is the word of Yahweh, and, all his work, is in faithfulness:
5 Anih loe toenghaih hoiah khokhan moe, kamsoem ah lokcaekhaih to a koeh, long loe Angraeng hoihaih hoiah koi.
Who loveth righteousness and justice, With the lovingkindness of Yahweh, the earth is full.
6 Vannawk loe Angraeng ih lok hoiah sak moe, van ah kaom hmuennawk boih doeh a pakha thung ih takhi hoiah ni a sak.
By the word of Yahweh, the heavens were made, and, by the spirit of his mouth, all their host:
7 Anih mah tuipui ih tuinawk to nawnto acuu moe, kathuk tuipui doeh pakhuenghaih ahmuen ah a suek.
Who gathered as into a skin-bottle the waters of the sea, Delivering, into treasuries, the roaring deeps.
8 Long boih mah Angraeng to zii o nasoe: long kaminawk boih mah anih to khingza o nasoe.
Let all the earth, stand in awe of Yahweh, Of him, be in dread, all ye inhabitants of the world;
9 Tipongah tih nahaeloe anih loe thuih baktiah angcoengsak; a paek ih lok baktiah ohsak.
For, he, spake, and it was, He, commanded, and it stood forth.
10 Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk lokramhaih to anih mah paro pae: kaminawk atimhaih doeh a phraek pae.
Yahweh, hath frustrated the counsel of nations, hath brought to nothing the devices of peoples.
11 Angraeng khokhanhaih loe dungzan khoek to cak, a poekhaih loe angzo han koi caanawk khoek to om poe tih.
The counsel of Yahweh, to times age-abiding, shall stand, The devices of his heart, from generation to generation.
12 Angmah ih qawktoep hanah a qoih ih kaminawk hoi Sithaw loe Angraeng ni, tiah tapom acaengnawk loe tahamhoih o.
How happy the nation whose God is, Yahweh, The people he hath chosen as his own inheritance!
13 Angraeng mah van hoi khet tathuk naah, kaminawk to hnuk boih.
Out of the heavens, hath Yahweh looked, He hath seen all the sons of men:
14 A ohhaih ahmuen hoiah khet naah, long ah kaom hmuennawk to panoek boih.
Out of his settled place of abode, hath he fixed his gaze on all the inhabitants of the earth:
15 Angraeng mah kami boih hanah poekhaih palungthin to paek; nihcae mah sak ih hmuennawk Angraeng mah panoek boih.
Who fashioneth their heart all together, Who understandeth all their doings.
16 Kawbaktih siangpahrang doeh kanoih parai misatuh kaminawk mah pahlong ai: thacak kami doeh thacakhaih mah loisak ai.
Not a king, can be saved by greatness of force, nor, hero, deliver himself by greatness of strength:
17 Hrang mah ngancuemhaih paek thai ai: a thacakhaih mah mi doeh pahlong thai ai.
A deception, is the horse, for victory, and, by his great strength, shall he not deliver.
18 Khenah, Angraeng ih mik loe angmah zithaih tawn kami, a palungnathaih oep kaminawk nuiah oh;
Lo! the eye of Yahweh, is toward them who revere him, unto such as are waiting for his lovingkindness:
19 duekhaih thung hoiah nihcae ih pakhra to anih mah pahlong moe, khokhaa naah nihcae hingsak hanah a khetzawn.
To rescue, from death, their soul, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Aicae hinghaih mah Angraeng to zing: anih loe aicae bomkung hoi angvaenhaih aphaw ah oh.
Our own soul, hath waited for Yahweh, Our help and our shield, is he!
21 Kaciim anih ih ahmin to a oep o pongah, aicae ih palungthin loe anih ah anghoehaih a tawnh o.
For, in him, shall our heart rejoice, For, in his holy Name, have we trusted.
22 Aw Angraeng, nang kang oep o baktih toengah, na palungnathaih kaicae nuiah om nasoe.
Be thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, upon us, According as we have waited for thee.
