1 Angraeng to saphaw oh. Angmah ih hmuenciim ah Sithaw to saphaw oh; a van thacakhaih to saphaw oh.

Praise Yahweh! Praise God in his sacred temple! And praise him in his fortress in heaven!

2 A thacakhaih hoiah sak ih hmuennawk to saphaw oh; kahoih koek a lensawkhaih baktih toengah, anih to saphaw oh.

Praise him for the mighty deeds that he has performed; praise him for his being extremely great!

3 Mongkah lok hoiah anih to saphaw oh; katoeng tamoi hoiah anih to saphaw oh.

Praise him by [blowing] trumpets loudly; praise him by [playing] harps and (small lyres/other instruments that have many strings)!

4 Satuem tabaeng moe, hnawhaih hoiah anih to saphaw oh; aqui kacung atuenpawk hoiah anih to saphaw oh.

Praise him by [beating] drums and by dancing. Praise him by [playing] stringed instruments and by [playing] flutes!

5 Cingceng bohhaih hoiah anih to saphaw oh; lok kalen cingceng bohhaih hoiah anih to saphaw oh.

Praise him by [clashing] cymbals together; praise him by clashing [together very] loud cymbals!

6 Hinghaih tawn a sak ih hmuennawk boih mah Angraeng to saphaw o nasoe. Angraeng to saphaw oh.

I want all living creatures to praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh!
