1 Angraeng to saphaw oh. Angraeng khaeah laa kangtha to sah oh, kaciim kaminawk amkhuenghaih ahmuen ah anih saphawhaih laa to sah oh.
Praise Yahweh! Sing a new song to Yahweh, praise him whenever [his] faithful [people] gather together!
2 Israel loe anih sahkung nuiah anghoe nasoe; Zion caanawk loe angmacae siangpahrang nuiah anghoe o nasoe.
[You] Israeli people, be glad because of [what God], who created you, [has done for you]! You people of Jerusalem, rejoice because of [what God] your king [has done for you]!
3 Anih ih ahmin to hnawhaih hoiah saphaw o nasoe; satuem hoi katoeng hoiah anih saphawhaih laa to sah o nasoe.
Praise Yahweh by dancing, by beating/playing tambourines, and by playing harps to praise him!
4 Angraeng loe angmah ih kaminawk nuiah anghoehaih tawnh; kami tlim ah khosah kaminawk loe pahlonghaih hoiah amthoepsak tih.
Yahweh is pleased with his people; he honors humble [people] by helping them to defeat [their enemies].
5 Kaciim kaminawk loe lensawkhaih hoiah anghoe o nasoe; a iih o haih ahmuen hoiah anghoehaih laa to sah o nasoe.
God’s people should rejoice because they have won battles and they should sing joyfully all during the night!
6 Nihcae ih pakha ah Kasang koek Sithaw saphawhaih to om nasoe; nihcae ban ah ahnuk ahma kanoe sumsen to om nasoe,
They [MTY] should shout loudly to praise God; but [they should also hold] sharp swords in their hands,
7 Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk nuiah lu la ah loe, kaminawk to danpaek ah;
[ready to use them] to defeat the [soldiers of] nations [that do not worship God], and to punish the people [of those nations],
8 nihcae siangpahrangnawk to qui hoiah taoengh loe, nihcae ih lensawk kaminawk doeh sumboeng hoiah thlongthuk ah:
and to fasten the arms and legs of their kings and other leaders with iron chains,
9 cabu thungah tarik ih baktih toengah, nihcae to kating ah lokcaek ah: hae loe kaciim Angmah ih kaminawk boih mah hak han koi pazawkhaih ah oh. Angraeng to saphaw oh.
to judge [and punish] the people of those nations, like [God] wrote/declared [should be done]. It is (a privilege/an honor) for God’s faithful people to do that! Praise Yahweh!
