1 Angraeng to saphaw oh. Vannawk hoiah Angraeng to saphaw oh; anih to ranui koek ah saphaw oh.
Praise Yahweh! Praise him, from up in heaven; praise him from way up in the sky!
2 Angmah ih vankaminawk boih, anih to saphaw oh; angmah ih van misatuh kaminawk boih, anih to saphaw oh.
All you angels who belong to him, praise him! All you who are in the armies of heaven, praise him!
3 Ni hoi khrahnawk, anih to saphaw oh; nangcae aanghaih tawn cakaehnawk boih, anih to saphaw oh.
Sun and moon, [you also] praise him! You shining stars, you praise him!
4 Nangcae vannawk ih vannawk, vannawk nui ih tuinawk, anih to saphaw oh.
You highest heavens, praise him! And you waters that are high above the sky, praise him!
5 Anih mah lokpaek naah, hmuennawk to angcoeng o pongah, Angraeng ih ahmin to saphaw o nasoe.
I want [all of] these to praise Yahweh [MTY] because by commanding [them to exist], he created them.
6 Anih mah to hmuennawk to dungzan khoek to caksak moe, amro han ai ah lok a paek.
He determined the places where they should be [in the sky], and he commanded that they should be there forever. They cannot disobey that command!
7 Long ah kaom tuipui thung ih moinawk hoi kathuk tuinawk boih;
And everything on the earth, praise Yahweh! You [huge] sea monsters and [everything else that is] deep [in the ocean],
8 hmai hoi qaetuinawk, dantui hoi tamainawk, a lok tahngai takhi saenawk;
and fire and hail, and snow and frost, and strong winds that obey what he commands, [I tell] all of you to praise Yahweh!
9 maenawk hoi maesomnawk boih; kathai thingnawk hoi sidar thingnawk;
Hills and mountains, fruit trees and cedar [trees],
10 kasan moinawk hoi im ah pacah ih moinawk; zok hoi kavak moinawk hoi kazawk tavaanawk;
all the wild animals and all [you] cattle, and the (reptiles/creatures that scurry across the ground), and [all] the birds, [I tell all of them to praise Yahweh]!
11 long siangpahrangnawk hoi kaminawk boih, angraeng ih caanawk hoi long lokcaekkungnawk boih;
You kings on this earth and all the people [that you rule], you princes and all [other] rulers,
12 thendoengnawk hoi tanglanawk, mitongnawk hoi nawktanawk; Angraeng to saphaw oh.
you young men and young women, you old people and children, [everyone, praise Yahweh!]
13 Anih ih ahmin khue ni hoih; a lensawkhaih loe long hoi van nuiah oh.
I want them [all] to praise Yahweh [MTY] because he is greater than anyone else. His glory is greater than [anything on] the earth or [in] heaven.
14 Anih loe angmah ih kaminawk to taki tacawtsak moe, angmah ih kaciim kaminawk boih saphawhaih, angmah hoi anghnai koekah kaom, Israel caanawk saphawhaih doeh anih mah ni sak pae. Angraeng to saphaw oh.
He caused us, his people, to be strong in order that we, his people, we Israeli people (who are very precious to him/whom he loves very much), would praise him. So praise Yahweh!
