Praise ye the Lord. Praise thou the Lord, O my soule.
2 Ka hing thung Angraeng to ka pakoeh han; ka hing thung boih ka Sithaw pakoehhaih laa to ka sak han.
I will prayse the Lord during my life: as long as I haue any being, I wil sing vnto my God.
3 long angraengnawk to oep hmah, kami doeh oep hmah; nihcae mah abomh o thai mak ai.
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the sonne of man, for there is none helpe in him.
4 Nihcae loe duek naah long ah ni amlaem o let; to naah nihcae poekhaihnawk boih to anghmat.
His breath departeth, and he returneth to his earth: then his thoughtes perish.
5 Jakob ih Sithaw to bomkung ah suem kami, a oephaih to angmah ih Angraeng Sithaw khaeah suem kami loe tahamhoih,
Blessed is he, that hath the God of Iaakob for his helpe, whose hope is in the Lord his God.
6 Anih mah ni long hoi van, tuipui hoi athung ah kaom hmuennawk boih to sak; anih loe dungzan khoek to oepthoh;
Which made heauen and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth his fidelitie for euer:
7 pacaekthlaek ih kaminawk to toenghaih hoiah lok a caek; zok amthlam kaminawk to buh a paek. Angraeng mah ni thongkrah kaminawk to loisak.
Which executeth iustice for the oppressed: which giueth bread to the hungry: the Lord loseth the prisoners.

The Lord giueth sight to the blinde: the Lord rayseth vp the crooked: the Lord loueth the righteous.
9 Angraeng mah angvinnawk to toep moe, ampa tawn ai kami hoi lamhmainawk to pacah; toe kasae kaminawk ih loklam loe buenglueng tamlet ah ohsak.
The Lord keepeth the strangers: he relieueth the fatherlesse and widowe: but he ouerthroweth the way of the wicked.

The Lord shall reigne for euer: O Zion, thy God endureth from generation to generation. Prayse ye the Lord.
