1 David pakoehhaih saam laa. Ka Sithaw, Aw siangpahrang, nang to kang pakoeh han; na hmin to dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to tahamhoihaih ka paek han.
Praise by David. I exalt Thee, my God, O king, And bless Thy name to the age and for ever.
2 Ni thokkruek tahamhoihaih kang paek moe, na hmin to dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to kang pakoeh han.
Every day do I bless Thee, And praise Thy name to the age and for ever.
3 Angraeng loe len parai pongah, lensawkhaih hoiah pakoeh han krak; a lensawkhaih loe tah laek thai ai.
Great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, And of His greatness there is no searching.
4 Na sak ih hmuennawk loe adung maeto pacoeng maeto khoek to pakoeh o ueloe, thacak na tok sakhaihnawk to thui o tih.
Generation to generation praiseth Thy works, And Thy mighty acts they declare.
5 Pakoeh koi kaom thacak na lensawkhaih hoi na sak ih dawnrai hmuennawk to ka thuih han.
The honour — the glory of Thy majesty, And the matters of Thy wonders I declare.
6 Kaminawk mah thacak, zitthok na sak ih hmuennawk to thui o tih, kai doeh na lensaawkhaih to ka taphong toeng han.
And the strength of Thy fearful acts they tell, And Thy greatness I recount.
7 Kating ai na hoih haih to nihcae mah poek o ueloe, na toenghaih laa to sah o tih.
The memorial of the abundance of Thy goodness they send forth. And Thy righteousness they sing.
8 Angraeng loe tahmenhaih hoi amlunghaih ah oh; anih loe palungphui han rai moe, palungnathaih hoiah koi.
Gracious and merciful [is] Jehovah, Slow to anger, and great in kindness.
9 Angraeng loe kami boih hanah hoih; a sak ih hmuennawk boih nuiah palungnathaih a tawnh.
Good [is] Jehovah to all, And His mercies [are] over all His works.
10 Aw Angraeng, na sak ih hmuennawk boih mah nang to saphaw o ueloe, nangmah ih kaciim kaminawk mah tahamhoihaih na paek o tih.
Confess Thee O Jehovah, do all Thy works, And Thy saints do bless Thee.
11 Na prae lensawkhaih hoi na thacakhaih to nihcae mah thui o tih;
The honour of Thy kingdom they tell, And [of] Thy might they speak,
12 to tiah ni a thacakhaih hoiah sak ih hmuennawk, thacak a lensawkhaih prae to kaminawk boih mah panoek o thai tih.
To make known to sons of men His mighty acts, The honour of the majesty of His kingdom.
13 Na prae loe dungzan prae ah oh moe, na ukhaih loe adungnawk boih khoek to cak.
Thy kingdom [is] a kingdom of all ages, And Thy dominion [is] in all generations.
14 Angraeng loe amtimh kaminawk boih to patawnh moe, poek pahnaem kaminawk boih to tapom tahang.
Jehovah is supporting all who are falling, And raising up all who are bowed down.
15 Kaminawk ih mik boih mah nang to ang khet o; atue phak naah nihcae to buh na pacah.
The eyes of all unto Thee do look, And Thou art giving to them their food in its season,
16 Na ban to paongh moe, hinghaih katawn sak ih hmuennawk boih koehhaih to na koepsak.
Opening Thy hand, and satisfying The desire of every living thing.
17 Angraeng loe a caehhaih loklam boih ah toeng, a tok sakhaihnawk boih ah ciim.
Righteous [is] Jehovah in all His ways, And kind in all His works.
18 Anih kawk kaminawk boih, loktangta hoiah anih kawk kaminawk boih to Angraeng mah oh thuih.
Near [is] Jehovah to all those calling Him, To all who call Him in truth.
19 Anih zithaih tawn kaminawk koehhaih to acungsak tih; nihcae hanghaih lok to thaih pae ueloe, nihcae to pahlong tih.
The desire of those fearing Him He doth, And their cry He heareth, and saveth them.
20 Angraeng palung kaminawk to anih mah khetzawn; toe poeksae kaminawk loe amrosak boih tih.
Jehovah preserveth all those loving Him, And all the wicked He destroyeth.
21 Ka pakha mah loe Angraeng pakoehhaih lok to thui tih; kaminawk boih mah kaciim ahmin to dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to tahamhoihaih paek o nasoe.
The praise of Jehovah my mouth speaketh, And all flesh doth bless His holy name, To the age and for ever!
