1 Angraeng loe hoih pongah, angmah khaeah kawnhaih lok to thui oh; a tawnh ih palungnathaih loe dungzan khoek to cak.
Tell Yahweh that you thank him very much for the good [things that he has done for you] He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever.
2 A palungnathaih loe dungzan khoek to cak, tiah Israel mah thui nasoe.
You Israeli [people] should [repeatedly] shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
3 A palunghaih loe dungzan khoek to cak, tiah Aaron imthung takoh mah thui nasoe.
You [priests] who are descendants of Aaron should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves us, his people, forever!”
4 Angraeng zii kaminawk boih mah, a palungnathaih loe dungzan khoek to cak, tiah thui o nasoe.
All you who revere him should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
5 Palung ka boeng naah Angraeng to ka kawk; anih mah ang pathim moe, kalen parai ahmuen ah ang prawt.
When I was distressed, I called out to Yahweh, and he answered me and set me free [from my worries/troubles].
6 Angraeng loe kai bangah oh pongah, ka zii mak ai; kami mah kawbangmaw na naa thai tih?
Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), so I will not be afraid [of anything]. No one [RHQ] can do anything that will [prevent God from blessing] me forever.
7 Angraeng loe kai bangah oh moe, kai ang bomh pongah, kai hnuma kaminawk nuiah palung khuek, tihhaih ka hnu tih boeh.
[Yes], Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), [so] I will look triumphantly at my enemies [while he defeats them].
8 Kami oep pongah loe Angraeng khaeah amha hae hoih kue.
It is better to trust in Yahweh than to (depend on/trust in) people.
9 Long angraengnawk to oep pongah loe Angraeng khaeah amha hae hoih kue.
It is better to trust Yahweh to protect [us] than to trust [that influential/important] people [will protect us].
10 Prae congca kaminawk mah kai ang takui o khoep; toe Angraeng ih ahmin hoiah nihcae to kam rosak han.
Armies of [MTY] many nations surrounded me, [but] Yahweh enabled me to defeat them by his power [MTY].
11 Nihcae mah kai ahnuk ahma ang maah o; ue, kai ang takui o; toe Angraeng ih ahmin hoiah nihcae to kam rosak han.
They completely surrounded me, [but] I defeated them all by the power of Yahweh.
12 Khoimi baktiah kai ang takui o khoep; nihcae loe soekhring hmai baktiah duek o; Angraeng ih ahmin hoiah nihcae to kam rosak han.
They swarmed around me like [angry] bees; they were like a fire that blazes strongly, but only briefly, in a thornbush, [but] I defeated them by the power [MTY] that Yahweh gave me.
13 Kai amtimh thai hanah, nang nuih; toe Angraeng mah kai ang bomh.
[My enemies] attacked me fiercely and almost defeated me, but Yahweh helped me.
14 Angraeng loe ka thacakhaih hoi laasakhaih ah oh moe, ka pahlonghaih ah oh.
Yahweh is the one who makes me strong, and he is the one about whom I [always] sing; he has saved me [from my enemies].
15 Anghoehaih hoi pahlonghaih lok loe katoeng kaminawk ohhaih ahmuen ah oh: Angraeng ih bantang ban mah kalen parai hmuen to sak boeh.
Listen to the joyful songs of victory being sung in the tents of godly/righteous people! They sing, “Yahweh has defeated our enemies by his mighty power [MTY];
16 Angraeng ih bantang ban loe payangh tahang moe, Angraeng ih bantang ban mah kalen parai hmuen to sak boeh.
he has raised his strong right arm [to show he has defeated his enemies]. Yahweh has completely defeated them!”
17 Ka dueh mak ai, ka hing tih, to pongah Angraeng mah sak ih hmuen to ka thuih han vop.
I will not be killed [in battle]; I will live to proclaim the great things that Yahweh has done.
18 Angraeng mah kana parai ah ang thuitaek; toe duekhaih khaeah na paek ai.
Yahweh has punished me severely, but he has not allowed (me to die/[my enemies] to kill me).
19 Kai hanah toenghaih khongkha to ang paongh pae; kai loe akun moe, Angraeng to ka pakoeh han.
[You gatekeepers], open for me the gates of the temple in order that I may enter and thank Yahweh.
20 Hae khongkha loe Angraeng ih ni; katoeng kaminawk loe akun o tih.
Those are the gates [through which we enter the temple to worship] Yahweh; godly/righteous people enter those gates.
21 Ka lok nang pathim moe, ka pahlonghaih ah na oh pongah, nang to kang pakoeh han.
[Yahweh], I thank you that you answered my prayer, and you saved me [from my enemies].
22 Imsah kaminawk mah pahnawt ih thlung loe atho kaom koek im takii ih thlung ah angcoeng boeh.
[Yahweh’s promised/chosen king is like] [MET] the stone which the builders rejected [when they were building a house], [but that stone] became the (cornerstone/most important stone in the building).
23 Hae loe Angraeng mah a sak; aicae mikhnuk ah dawnrai hmuen ah oh.
(This was done by Yahweh/Yahweh has done this), and it is a wonderful thing for us to see.
24 Hae loe Angraeng mah sak ih ani ah oh, anghoehaih hoiah anih khaeah nawm o si.
This is the day in which [we remember that] Yahweh acted [powerfully to defeat our enemies]; we will rejoice and be glad/happy today.
25 Aw Angraeng, nang pahlong hanah kang hnik; Aw Angraeng, tahamhoihhaih nang paek hanah kang hnik.
Yahweh, we plead with you to [keep] rescuing us [from our enemies]. Yahweh, please help us (accomplish/do well) [what we want to do].
26 Angraeng ih ahmin hoi angzo kami loe tahamhoih nasoe; Angraeng im hoiah tahamhoihaih kang paek o boeh.
Yahweh, bless the one who will come with your authority [MTY]. And from the temple we (bless/[ask Yahweh to] bless) all of you.
27 Angraeng loe Sithaw ah oh moe, aicae han aanghaih to ang paek; angbawnhaih moi to hmaicam takii ah qui hoiah kom o si.
Yahweh is God, and he has caused his light to shine on us. Come, carrying [palm] branches, and join the people [who are starting] the festival as they go to the altar.
28 Nang loe ka Sithaw ah ni na oh, nang to kang pakoeh han; nang loe ka Sithaw ah ni na oh, nang to kang pakoeh han.
[Yahweh], you are the God whom I [worship], and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will tell [everyone] that you are great!
29 Angraeng loe hoih pongah, angmah khaeah anghoehaih lok to thui oh; a palungnathaih loe dungzan khoek to cak.
Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us] He will faithfully love [us] forever.
