1 David ih Saam laa. Angraeng mah ka Angraeng khaeah, Na misanawk na khok koenghaih ah ka sah boih ai karoek to, ka bantang bangah anghnu ah, tiah a naa.

Psalm of David. Jehovah said unto my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I put thine enemies [as] footstool of thy feet.

2 Angraeng mah na thacakhaih cunghet to Zion hoiah patoeh ueloe, na misanawk salakah uk tih.

Jehovah shall send the sceptre of thy might out of Zion: rule in the midst of thine enemies.

3 Na thacakhaih hoi na ukhaih niah na lensawkhaih to nang ih kaminawk hnu o tih, nang loe kaciim thacakhaih hoiah nam thoep ueloe, akhawnbang ih zok thung hoiah na tha ohhaih dantui to na tawn tih.

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in holy splendour: from the womb of the morning [shall come] to thee the dew of thy youth.

4 Angraeng mah sak ih lokkamhaih loe amkhrai let mak ai boeh; Melkhizadek baktiah Nang loe dungzan khoek to qaima ah na oh boeh.

Jehovah hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art priest for ever after the order of Melchisedek.

5 Na bantang bangah kaom Angraeng loe palungphuihaih niah siangpahrangnawk to bop tih.

The Lord at thy right hand will smite through kings in the day of his anger.

6 Anih mah Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk to lokcaek ueloe, ahmuen kruekah kaminawk ih qok to omsak tih; prae congca ukkungnawk to ahmaa caasak tih.

He shall judge among the nations; he shall fill [all places] with dead bodies; he shall smite through the head over a great country.

7 Anih loe loklam taeng ih vacong tui to nae ueloe, lu to phok tahang tih.

He shall drink of the brook in the way; therefore shall he lift up the head.
