1 Angraeng khaeah anghoehaih lok to thui ah; anih ih ahmin to kawk oh; a sak ih hmuennawk to kaminawk khaeah amtuengsak oh.
O give thanks unto the LORD; Call upon his name; Make known his deeds among the people!
2 Angmah khaeah laasah oh loe, angmah khaeah saam laa to sah oh; a sak ih dawnrai hmuennawk to thui oh.
Sing unto him; sing psalms unto him; Tell ye of all his wondrous works!
3 Anih ih ciimcai ahmin to lensawkhaih hoiah amoek o haih ah; Angraeng pakrong kaminawk ih palungthin loe anghoe nasoe.
Glory ye in his holy name; Let the hearts of them that seek the LORD rejoice!
4 Angraeng hoi a thacakhaih to pakrong oh; a mikhmai to pakrong oh!
Seek the LORD, and his majesty; Seek his face continually!
5 A sak ih dawnrai, anghmang thok hmuennawk, angmah ih pakha hoi tacawt lokcaekhaihnawk to pakuem oh,
Remember the wonders he hath wrought, His miracles and the judgments of his mouth,
6 a tamna Abraham ih caanawk, a qoih ih Jakob ih caanawk to panoek oh!
Ye offspring of Abraham his servant, Ye children of Jacob his chosen!
7 Anih loe aicae Angraeng Sithaw ah oh; a lokcaekhaih loe long nui boih ah oh.
Jehovah, he is our God, His judgments are over all the earth.
8 Anih loe angmah sak ih lokmaihaih to dungzan khoek to panoek poe, a thuih ih lok to adung sangto khoek to panoek,
He remembereth his covenant for ever, And the promise to a thousand generations;
9 anih loe Abraham hoi a sak ih lokmaihaih, Isaak khaeah sak ih lokkamhaih to panoek poe;
The covenant which he made with Abraham, And the oath which he gave to Isaac;
10 to lokmaihaih to Jakob khaeah a caksak moe, Israel khaeah dungzan lokmaihaih ah a suek:
Which he confirmed to Jacob for a decree, And to Israel for an everlasting covenant.
11 Kanaan prae to kang paek han, nangmah ih taham ah kaom qawk baktiah na toep tih, tiah a naa.
“To thee,” said he, “will I give the land of Canaan For the lot of your inheritance.”
12 Nihcae loe kami tamsi o, ue, paroeai tamsi kaminawk loe prae thungah angvin ah oh o.
When they were yet few in number, Very few, and strangers in the land;
13 Nihcae mah acaeng maeto hoi maeto khaeah caeh o moe, prae maeto hoi kalah kaminawk khaeah a caeh o naah,
When they went from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people,
14 mi doeh kasae hmuen to sahsak ai; ue, nihcae pongah siangpahrangnawk to a thuitaek,
He suffered no man to oppress them; Yea, he rebuked kings for their sakes.

“Touch not,” said he, “mine anointed, And do my prophets no harm!”

Again, when he commanded a famine in the land, And broke the whole staff of bread,

He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold as a slave.

His feet they hurt with fetters; He was bound in chains of iron;

Until his prediction came to pass, And the word of the LORD proved him.
20 Siangpahrang mah kami to patoeh moe, loisak; kaminawk ukkung mah doeh anih to loisak.
Then the king sent, and loosed him; The ruler of nations, and set him free;
21 Anih to a imthung ah angraeng ah suek, a tawnh ih hmuennawk boih ukkung ah a suek,
He made him governor of his house, And lord of all his possessions;
22 Anih mah angraeng capanawk to a koeh baktiah patuk, to tiah anih loe kacoehtanawk palunghahaih patuk hanah oh.
To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his counsellors wisdom.
23 Israel doeh Izip prae thungah angzoh; Jakob loe Ham prae thungah oh.
Israel also came into Egypt, And Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham;

Where God increased his people greatly, And made them stronger than their enemies.

He turned their hearts to hate his people, And form devices against his servants.

Then sent he Moses his servant, And Aaron, whom he had chosen.

They showed his signs among them, And his wonders in the land of Ham.

He sent darkness upon them, and made it dark; And they did not disobey his word.

He turned their waters into blood, And caused their fish to die.
30 Nihcae ih prae thungah ukongnawk to a pungsak, angmacae siangpahrang iihhaih ahmuen khoek to ohsak.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, Even in the chambers of their kings.
31 Lok a thuih moe, taksaenawk to a pungsak, prae thung boih ah alungh to koi.
He spake, and there came flies, And lice in all their coasts.
32 Anih mah khotui zuengah qaetui to paek moe, a prae thungah hmai kangqong to phaksak.
Instead of rain he gave them hail, And flaming fire in their land.
33 Misurkung hoi thaiduetkungnawk to amrosak king moe, prae thung ih thingnawk to amtimsak boih.
He smote also their vines and fig-trees, And broke the trees of their coasts.
34 Anih mah lokthuih let naah, pakhuhnawk to angzoh o, kroeklaek ai langkawknawk to angzoh o,
He spake, and the locusts came. Destructive locusts without number,
35 angmacae prae thung ih kahing aanqamnawk to caak pae o king moe, long ah kamprawk thingthai qumponawk doeh caak pae o boih.
Which ate up all the herbage in their land, And devoured the fruits of their fields.
36 Angmacae prae thungah kami ih athaih tangsuek ah kaom a calunawk to a hum pae boih.
Then he smote all the first-born in their land, The first-fruits of all their strength.
37 Anih mah nihcae han sui hoi sumkanglung to phawsak; angmah ih acaengnawk thungah thacak ai kami maeto doeh om ai.
He led forth his people with silver and gold; Nor was there one feeble person in all their tribes.
38 Izip kaminawk mah nihcae to zit pongah, nihcae amlaem o naah prae boih anghoe o.
Egypt was glad when they departed, For their terror had fallen upon them.
39 Nihcae khuk hanah tamai to amzamsak, aqum ah aanghaih paek hanah hmai to a paek.
He spread out a cloud for a covering, And fire to give light by night.

They asked, and he brought quails, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

He opened the rock, and the waters gushed forth, And ran in the dry places like a river.
42 Anih loe a tamna Abraham khaeah paek ih, kaciim a lokkamhaih to panoek poe.
For he remembered his holy promise, Which he had made to Abraham his servant;
43 Anih mah angmah ih kaminawk to anghoehaih hoiah caeh haih, a qoih ih kaminawk to anghoehaih hoiah a zaeh,
And he led forth his people with joy, And his chosen with gladness.
44 Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk ih prae to nihcae hanah a paek; minawk mah sak tangcae ih prae to nihcae mah qawk ah toep o,
He gave to them the lands of the nations, And they inherited the labor of the peoples;
45 nihcae mah anih ih kaalok to pakuem o moe, a paek ih loknawk to pazui o thai hanah, to tiah a sak pae. Angraeng to saphaw oh!
That they might observe his statutes, And obey his laws. Praise ye the LORD!
