The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

“Command the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),
3 aloih bang ih ramri loe, Edom ramri hoi kangbet Zin praezaek khoek to; topacoengah aloih bang ih na ramri loe Paloi tuipui ni angyae boenghaih ahmuen khoek to om tih;
then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward.
4 aloih bang ih na ramri loe, aloih bang hoiah angkoih moe, Akkarabim tangkhamh bangah caeh tahang pacoengah, Zin praezaek bangah caeh poe; to ahmuen hoiah Kadesh-Barnea avang, Hazar-Addar avang, Azmon avang ah caeh poe;
Your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and it shall pass southward of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go from there to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon.
5 Azmon ah amlaem let moe, Izip prae vapui to poeng pacoengah, tuipui ah boeng.
The border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the sea.
6 Kalen tuipui loe niduem bang ih na ramri ah om tih; to tiah niduem bang ih na ramri to om tih.
“‘For the western border, you shall have the great sea and its border. This shall be your west border.
7 Aluek bang ih na ramri loe, kalen tuipui hoiah amtong moe, Hor mae karoek to caeh tih;
“‘This shall be your north border: from the great sea you shall mark out for yourselves Mount Hor.
8 Hor mae hoiah Hammath akunhaih karoek to caeh tih; to pacoengah ramri loe to ahmuen hoiah Zedad karoek to caeh ueloe,
From Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the border shall pass by Zedad.
9 Ziphron avang ah caeh poe pacoengah, Hazar-Enan ah boeng tih; hae loe aluek bang ih na ramri ah om tih.
Then the border shall go to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your north border.
10 Ni angyae bang ih na ramri loe, Hazar-Enan hoi ah Shepham karoek to om tih.
“‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham.
11 Shepham avang hoiah caeh tathuk poe ueloe, Ain avang ni angyae bangah kaom, Riblah avang to phak pacoengah, Kinnereth ni angyae bangah kaom, tuipui ah caeh tathuk tih.
The border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain. The border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.
12 Ramri loe to ahmuen hoiah Jordan vapui ah caeh tathuk poe ueloe, paloi tuipui ah boeng tih: hae loe nangcae mah qawktoep han koi prae ahnuk ahma ramri ah om tih, tiah a thuih pae.
The border shall go down to the Jordan, and end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”
13 Mosi mah Israel kaminawk khaeah lokthuih pae; Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, Hae loe taham khethaih cung vah moe, acaeng takawt to hoi ahap ah kaom acaengnawk khaeah, qawk ah paek han ih prae ah oh.
Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
14 Reuben imthung takoh, Gad imthung takoh hoi ahap Manasseh acaeng ah kaom kaminawk loe qawktoep hanah hak o boeh.
for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.
15 Acaeng hnetto hoi acaeng ahap ah kaom kaminawk loe, Jeriko vapui taeng, Jordan vapui zaeh, ni angyae bang ih ahmuen to qawk ah a hak o boeh, tiah a naa.
The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, towards the sunrise.”
16 Angraeng mah Mosi khaeah,
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
17 na toep o han ih prae pazetkungnawk ih ahmin loe, qaima Eleazar hoi Nun capa Joshua.
“These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
18 Qawktoep koi prae pazet hanah, acaeng maeto thung hoiah zaehoikung maeto qoi oh.
You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
19 Nihcae ih ahminnawk loe, Judah acaeng thung hoiah Jephunneh capa Kaleb.
These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20 Simeon acaeng thung hoiah Ammihud capa Shemuel.
Of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21 Benjamin acaeng thung hoiah, Kislon capa Elidad.
Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22 Dan acaeng thung hoiah, Jogli capa Bukki.
Of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23 Joseph capa Manasseh acaeng thung hoiah, Ephod capa Hanniel.
Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24 Joseph capa Ephraim acaeng thung hoiah, Shiphtan capa Kemuel.
Of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25 Zebulun acaeng thung hoiah, Parnak capa Elizaphan.
Of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26 Issakar acaeng thung hoiah, Azzan capa Paltiel.
Of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27 Asher acaeng thung hoiah Shelomi capa Ahihud.
Of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28 Naphtali acaeng thung hoiah, Ammihud capa Pedahel cae hae ni.
Of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
29 Hae kaminawk loe Angraeng mah thuih ih Kanaan prae thungah, Israel kaminawk toep han ih prae pazetkung ah oh o.
These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
