These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, Mosi mah kholong caehhaih kawng tarik ih ca loe hae tiah oh.
Moses wrote the starting points of their journeys by the commandment of the LORD. These are their journeys according to their starting points.
3 Israel kaminawk loe khrah tangsuek, ni hatlai pangato naah, Ramese vangpui hoiah tacawt o; Israel kaminawk loe misong loihaih ni boeng pacoeng, akhawnbang ah Izip kaminawk mikhnuk ah amoekhaih hoiah tacawt o.
They travelled from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover, the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians,

The children of Israel travelled from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.
6 Sukkoth ahmuen hoiah tacawt o moe, praezaek ramri ah kaom Etham ahmuen ah atai o.
They travelled from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
7 Etham ahmuen hoiah tacawt o moe, Baal-Zephon hma ah kaom, Pi-Hahiroth vangpui ah amlaem o let; to pacoengah Migdol vangpui hma ah atai o.
They travelled from Etham, and turned back to Pihahiroth, which is before Baal Zephon, and they encamped before Migdol.
8 Pi-Hahiroth vangpui hoiah tacawt o moe, tuipui um hoi praezaek ah caeh o poe; Etham praezaek ah ni thumto thung caeh o pacoengah, Marah ahmuen ah atai o.
They travelled from before Hahiroth, and crossed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
9 Marah ahmuen hoiah tacawt o moe, Elim avang ah caeh o; Elim avang ah loe tuipuek hatlai hnetto hoi ungsikung qui sarihto ohhaih ahmuen ah atai o.
They travelled from Marah, and came to Elim. In Elim, there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there.

They travelled from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea.
11 Tuipui kathim hoiah tacawt o moe, Sin praezaek ah atai o.
They travelled from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

They travelled from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.

They travelled from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.

Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
39 Hor mae ah duek naah Aaron loe saning cumvai pumphaeto pacoeng, thumto oh boeh.
Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.

The Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

They travelled from Mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.

They travelled from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.

They travelled from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
44 Oboth hoiah amsak o moe, Moab ramri ah kaom, Iye-Abarim hmuen ah atai o.
They travelled from Oboth, and encamped in Iye Abarim, in the border of Moab.

They travelled from Iyim, and encamped in Dibon Gad.
46 Dibon-Gad hoiah amsak o moe, Almon-Diblathaim ahmuen ah atai o.
They travelled from Dibon Gad, and encamped in Almon Diblathaim.

They travelled from Almon Diblathaim, and encamped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48 Abarim mae hoiah amsak o moe, Jeriko vangpui taeng, Jordan vapui yaeh ih Moab azawn ah atai o.
They travelled from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
49 Moab azawn hoiah Jordan vapui taeng, Beth-Jeshimon vangpui hoi Abel-Shittim vangpui khoek to atai o.
They encamped by the Jordan, from Beth Jeshimoth even to Abel Shittim in the plains of Moab.
50 Jeriko vangpui maeto bang, Jordan vapui taengah kaom, Moab azawn ah oh o naah, Angraeng mah Mosi khaeah,
The LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
51 Israel kaminawk khaeah hae tiah thui paeh; Jordan vapui to nang kat o moe, Kanaan prae thungah na kun o naah,
Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, “When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
52 nangcae hma ah kaom prae kaminawk to haek oh; a sak o ih krangnawk hoi atui pakaw moe, pahlom ih krangnawk to phrae pae o ah loe, nihcae ih hmuensangnawk doeh phrae pae o boih ah.
then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their stone idols, destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places.

You shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given the land to you to possess it.
54 Prae loe imthung takoh maeto boih hanah, taham khethaih phoisa vahhaih hoiah pazet ah; kapop kue imthung takohnawk hanah kalen kue ah prae to paek ah loe, imthung takoh tamsi kue kaminawk hanah loe kathoeng kue prae to paek ah; taham khethaih phoisa vahhaih moe, amtimhaih ahmuen to nihcae mah toep han ih qawk ah om tih; acaeng maeto pacoeng maeto, to tiah qawk to toep o tih.
You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the larger groups you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.
55 Toe nangcae hma ah kaom prae kaminawk to na haek o ai nahaeloe, na pathlung o ih kaminawk loe nangcae ih miknuen ah om o ueloe, nangcae ih panak hanah soekhring ah om o tih; na oh o han koi prae thungah nihcae mah raihaih na paek o tih.
“But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be like pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will harass you in the land in which you dwell.
56 To naah nihcae nuiah sak han ka tim ih hmuen to nangcae nuiah ka sak lat han, tiah a thuih, tiah thui paeh, tiah a naa.
It shall happen that as I thought to do to them, so I will do to you.”
