< Mikah 2 >

1 Angsonghaih iihkhun nui hoi kasae sak han pacaeng kaminawk loe khosak bing o! Nihcae loe to baktih hmuen sak thaihaih tawnh o pongah, akhawnbang khodai naah loe na tim o ih hmuen to na sak o.
Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.
2 Minawk ih lawk hmuen to a khit o moe, tha patoh hoiah a lomh pae o; imnawk doeh a khit o moe, lak pae o ving. Kami hoi imthung takohnawk to pacaekthlaek o moe, kami hoi a tawnh ih hmuennawk to lak pae o.
They covet fields and seize them, and houses, then take them away. They oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
3 To pongah Angraeng mah, Khenah, hae imthung takoh nuiah raihaih phaksak hanah ka poek, to naah tahnong nang qoi thai mak ai; to atue loe kasae tue ah oh pongah, nam oek thai mak ai.
Therefore the LORD says: “Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily, for it is an evil time.
4 To na niah kaminawk mah nang misa haih lok to thui o ueloe, paroeai palungsethaih hoiah na qah o haih tih: kam ro o boeh! Anih mah kai kaminawk ih taham to lak ving boeh: kawbang maw kai ih hmuen to a lak ving halat! Kaicae ih lawknawk doeh minawk han a paek ving boeh, tiah thui o tih.
In that day they will take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying, ‘We are utterly ruined! My people’s possession is divided up. Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!’”
5 To pongah Angraeng ih kaminawk amkhuenghaih ahmuen ah, taham khethaih phoisa to vah moe, prae kawng thuih hanah kami maeto doeh na tawn o mak ai.
Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in the LORD’s assembly.
6 Nihcae mah lok taphong kaminawk khaeah, Lok thui hmah lai ah: nihcae loe azat o ueloe, lok thui o mak ai boeh, tiah thuih o.
“Do not prophesy!”—they prophesy— “Do not prophesy about these things. Disgrace will not overtake us.”
7 Aw Jakob imthung takohnawk, Angraeng loe poek amthueng maw? Anih mah hae baktih hmuennawk hae sak maw? Ka thuih ih loknawk baktiah loklam toeng pazui kami khaeah kahoih hmuen to sah ai maw?
Shall it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is the LORD’s Spirit angry? Are these his doings? Do not my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”
8 Kai ih kaminawk loe canghnii ah misa angthawk o; misatukhaih ahmuen hoi zithaih tawn ai ah kamlaem kaminawk ih kahoih khukbuennawk to a khring pae o.
But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.
9 Kahoih angmacae ohhaih imthung hoiah kai ih kami nongpatanawk to na haek o; nihcae ih caa khae hoiah ka lensawkhaih to dungzan khoek to na lak pae o ving boeh.
You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever.
10 Angthawk ah loe, caeh o lai ah, hae ahmuen loe nangcae anghakhaih ahmuen na ai ni; amhnong boeh pongah kanung parai amrohaih hoiah nam ro tih boeh.
Arise, and depart! For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction.
11 Amsawnlok thui kami hoi aling thaih kami mah, Kai loe nangcae khaeah misurtui hoi mu kawng to ka thuih han, tiah na naa o tih; nangcae loe to baktih tahmaa to ni na koeh o.
If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies, saying, “I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink,” he would be the prophet of this people.
12 Aw Jakob, kai mah kang pakhueng o boih han; kanghmat Israel kaminawk to kam khuengsak han; Bozrah ih tuu baktiah nawnto ka pakhueng han, tuu khongkha thung ih tuunawk baktiah ka suek han, kami paroeai pop pongah hraw o parai tih.
I will surely assemble all of you, Jacob. I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as a flock in the middle of their pasture. They will swarm with people.
13 Khongkha phrae kami loe nihcae hmaa ah caeh tih; khongkha to phraek o, khongkha thung hoiah tacawt o moe, a caeh o: nihcae ih siangpahrang loe nihcae hma ah caeh tih, Angraeng loe nihcae hma ah caeh tih.
He who breaks open the way goes up before them. They break through the gate, and go out. Their king passes on before them, with the LORD at their head.
