Mathai 7
1 Nangmah to lokcaek han ai ah, minawk to lokcaek hmah.
Not do judge that not you may be judged;
2 Minawk lok na caek baktih toengah, lokcaekhaih na tong tih: minawk na tahhaih hmuen hoiah na tah let tih.
With whatever for verdict you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, (it will be measured *N(k)O*) to you.
3 Tipongah na mik thung ih anuen to poek ai ah, nawkamya mik ah kaom tetta anuen to na khet loe?
Why now do you look at the splinter that [is] in the eye of the brother of you, and in your [own] eye a beam not notice?
4 Tikhoe na mik thung ih anuen to khen ai ah, nawkamya hanah, Na mik thung ih anuen to kang lak pae han, tiah na naa loe?
Or how will you say to the brother of you; do permit that I may cast out the splinter (from *N(k)O*) the eye of you; and behold the beam [is] in the eye of you?
5 Nang, aling thaih kami! Na mik pong ih anuen to la hmaloe ah; to tiah ni na mik to amtueng ueloe, nawkamya mik thung ih anuen to na la pae thai tih.
Hypocrite! do cast out first from the eye of you the beam, and then you will see clearly to cast out the splinter from the eye of the brother of you.
6 Ciimcai hmuen to uinawk han paek hmah, pale thlung doeh oknawk hma ah suem o hmah, na suek o nahaeloe, khok hoiah ni cawh o tih, nangmah khaeah angqoi ueloe, na kaek tih.
Not shall give that which [is] holy to the dogs nor shall cast the pearls of you before the pigs otherwise otherwise (they will trample upon *N(k)O*) them with the feet of them, and having turned they may tear to pieces you.
7 Hnih ah, na paek tih; pakrong ah, na hnu tih; takhuek ah, na paong pae tih:
do ask and it will be given to you; do seek and you will find; do knock and it will be opened to you.
8 hni kami loe hak; pakrong kami loe hnuk; takhuek kami hanah paong pae tih.
Everyone for who is asking receives, and the [one] seeking finds, and to the [one] knocking (it will be opened. *NK(o)*)
9 Na caa mah takaw hni nahaeloe, thlung paek kami nangcae thungah om tih maw?
Or which is of you a man whom (if *K*) (he will ask for *N(K)O*) the son of him bread, surely not a stone will he give to him?
10 Tanga hni nahaeloe, pahui na paek o tih maw?
Or also (if *K*) a fish (he will ask for, *N(K)O*) surely not a serpent will he give to him?
11 Nangcae, kasae kaminawk mah mataeng doeh na caanawk hanah kahoih hmuen paek han na panoek o nahaeloe, van ah kaom nangcae ampa mah cae loe nazetto maw hni kami hanah paek tih?
If therefore you yourselves evil being you know gifts good to give to the children of you, how much more the Father of you who [is] in the heavens will give good things to those asking Him?
12 Minawk mah na nuiah hmuen kahoih saksak han na koeh o ih baktih toengah, nihcae nuiah kahoih hmuen to sah toeng ah: hae loe kaalok hoi tahmaanawk ih lok ah oh.
All things therefore as much as (maybe *N(k)O*) you shall desire that they shall enact for you the men, so also you yourselves do enact for them; This for is the law and the prophets.
13 Khongkha tamcaek thungah akun oh: kakawk khongkha hoi kalen loklam loe, anghmathaih bang zaehoikung ah oh: paroeai kaminawk loe to bangah caeh o:
do enter through the narrow gate, For wide [is] the gate and broad the way which is leading to destruction, and many are those entering through it.
14 tamcaek khongkha hoi tamcaek loklam loe hinghaih bang zaehoikung ah oh, kami tamsi loe to ahmuen bangah caeh o.
(Which *N(K)O*) small [is] the gate and compressed the way which is leading to life, and few are those finding it.
15 Kamro tahmaanawk khae hoiah acoe oh, nihcae loe tuu hin to a nuiah angkhuk o moe, a thungah loe alinghaih hoiah kakoi tasui ah oh o.
do beware (now *ko*) of the false prophets who come to you in clothing of sheep, inwardly however they are wolves ravenous.
16 Angmacae ih athaih hoiah nihcae to na panoek o tih. Mi mah maw soekhringkung hoiah misurthaih pakhrik moe, soekhring takha thung hoiah misurthaih pakhrik vaih?
By the fruits of them you will know them. surely not ever do they gather from thorns (grapes, *N(k)O*) or from thistles figs?
17 Kahoih thingkung mah kahoih thingthai to tacawtsak; toe kasae thingkung mah loe kasae thingthai to tacawtsak.
thus every tree good fruits good produces, but the bad tree fruits bad produces.
18 Kahoih thingkung hoiah kasae thingthai tacawt thai ai, kasae thingkung mah kahoih thingthai athaisak thai mak ai.
Not is able a tree good fruits bad (to produce *NK(o)*) nor [is able] a tree bad fruits good to produce.
19 Kahoih thingthai athai ai thingkung loe pakhruk boih moe, hmai thungah vah o.
Every tree not producing fruit good is cut down and into fire is thrown.
20 To tiah angmacae ih athaih hoiah nihcae to na panoek o tih.
Then surely by the fruits of them you will know them.
21 Kai khaeah, Angraeng, Angraeng, tiah thui kami boih, van prae thungah akun o mak ai; van ah kaom kam Pa koehhaih sah kami ni akun tih.
Not everyone who is saying to Me; Lord Lord, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the [one] doing the will of the Father of Mine who [is] in (the *no*) heavens.
22 To na niah loe paroeai kaminawk mah kai khaeah, Angraeng, Angraeng, na hmin hoiah lok ka thuih o moe, na hmin hoiah taqawknawk to ka haek o, na hmin hoiah paroeai dawnrai hmuennawk ka sak o boeh na ai maw? tiah thui o tih.
Many will say to Me in that [very] day; Lord Lord, surely in Your name we did prophesy and in Your name demons cast out and in your name miracles many perform?
23 To naah kai mah nihcae khaeah, Kang panoek o ai: zaehaih sah kaminawk, kai khae hoi tacawt oh, tiah ka naa han.
And then I will declare to them that Never knew I you; do depart from Me you who [are] working lawlessness.
24 To pongah mi kawbaktih doeh ka thuih ih hae loknawk hae thaih moe, sah kami loe, lungsong nuiah im sah palungha kami hoiah anghmong:
Everyone therefore whoever hears My words these and does them, (he will be like *N(K)O*) a man wise who built his house upon the rock.
25 kho angzoh moe, tui to len, takhi song moe, im to hmuh; lungsong nuiah sak ih im ah oh pongah, amtim ai.
And came down the rain and came the torrents and blew the winds, and (beat *N(k)O*) that house upon, and not it fell; it had been founded for upon the rock.
26 Mi kawbaktih doeh ka thuih ih hae loknawk hae thaih boeh, toe sah ai kami loe savuet nuiah im sah kamthu hoiah ni anghmong:
And everyone who is hearing My words these and not doing them he will be likened to a man foolish who built of him the house upon the sand.
27 kho angzoh moe, tui to len, takhi song moe, im to hmuh naah, im loe amtim rup: amtimhaih loe paroeai len, tiah a naa.
And came down the rain and came the torrents and blew the winds, and beat that house upon, and it fell; and was the fall of it great.
28 Jesu mah hae loknawk thuih pacoengah, kaminawk loe anih mah patuk ih hmuen pongah dawnrai o.
And it came to pass when (finished *N(k)O*) Jesus words these, were astonished the crowds at the teaching of Him;
29 Anih loe ca tarik kaminawk mah patuk ih baktiah patuk ai, sakthaihaih tawn kami mah patuk ih baktiah ni patuk.
He was for teaching them as authority having and not as the scribes (of them. *NO*)
