1 Sabbath ni boeng pacoengah, Meri Magdalene, Jakob ih amno Meri hoi Salome loe caeh hoi moe, anih ih qok to bawh hanah hmuihoih tui to a qan hoi.
When the Sabbath ·To cease· was past (after dark on Nissan 17, the day of First Fruits #1), Mary of Magdala [Rebellion of City tower], and Mary [Rebellion] the mother of James [Surplanter], and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 Ni sarihto thung ni hmaloe koek khawnthaw, ni tacawt naah taprong ah caeh o.
Very early morning, when the sun had started to rise, on the first day of the week, (the day of First Fruits #1), they came to the tomb.
3 To nongpatanawk loe mi mah maw taprong kraenghaih thlung to palet pae tih? tiah maeto hoi maeto a thuih o.
They were saying among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”
4 Nihcae mah khet o tahang naah, kamlet ving paroeai kalen, thlung to a hnuk o.
for it was very big. Looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back.
5 Tangqom thungah akun o naah, kasawk kahni kanglung angkhuk bantang bangah anghnu, thendoeng maeto a hnuk o; nihcae loe paroeai zit o.
Entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were amazed.
6 Anih mah nihcae khaeah, Zii o hmah: thinglam nuiah takhing ih, Nazareth Jesu to na pakrong o: anih loe angthawk boeh; anih loe haeah om ai: anih pasonghaih ahmuen hae khen oh.
He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Yeshua [Salvation], the Nazarene [person from Branch, Separated one], who was executed on the stake. He has risen. He is not here. Behold, the place where they laid him!
7 Toe caeh oh loe, a hnukbang kaminawk hoi Piter khaeah, anih loe nangcae hma ah Kalili ah caeh boeh: ang thuih o ih lok baktih toengah, to ahmuen ah anih to na hnu o tih, tiah thui pae oh, tiah a naa.
But go, tell his disciples and Peter [Rock], ‘He goes before you into Galilee [District, Circuit]. There you will see him, as he said to you.’”
8 Nihcae loe tasoeh o moe, dawnrai o; karangah caeh o moe, taprong hoiah cawnh o: a zit o pongah, mi khaeah doeh thui o ai.
They went out, and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had come on them. They said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid.

(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, (the day of First Fruits #1), he appeared first to Mary of Magdala [Rebellion of City tower], from whom he had cast out seven demons.
10 Nongpata loe caeh moe, Anih hoi nawnto kaom kaminawk, palungset hoi qah kaminawk khaeah thuih pae.
She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 Anih loe hing moe, Meri Magdalene mah hnuk boeh, tiah nihcae mah thaih o naah, tang o ai.
When they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they distrusted.
12 To pacoengah anih loe vangpui bangah caeh kami hnik khaeah, krang kalah ah amkhraih moe, amtueng pae let.
After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.
13 Nihnik mah kalah ampuinawk khaeah thuih pae hoi, toe nihcae mah tang pae o ai.
They went away and told it to the rest. They didn’t trust them, either.
14 To pacoengah anih loe kami hatlaitonawk khaeah, buh caak o naah amtueng pae let, anih angthawk pacoengah anih hnu kaminawk ih lok to tang pae o ai, palung thah o moe, tang o ai pongah nihcae to a thuitaek.
Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they sat at the table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they didn’t trust those who had seen him after he had risen.
15 Anih mah nihcae khaeah, Long pum ah caeh oh loe, sak ih hmuennawk boih khaeah, kahoih tamthanglok to thui oh.
He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.
16 Tanghaih tawn moe, tuinuem kami loe pahlong ah om tih; toe tang ai kami loe lokcaekhaih om tih.
He who trusts and is immersed will be saved; but he who distrusts will be condemned.
17 Katang kaminawk hnukah loe hae angmathaihnawk hae om tih; ka hmin hoiah taqawksaenawk to haek o ueloe, kangtha loknawk to apae o tih;
These signs will accompany those who trust: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;
18 nihcae mah pahui to naeh o tih; kawbaktih duekhaih tasi nae o langlacadoeh, nihcae to nathaih paek mak ai; nihcae mah nganna kaminawk nuiah ban koeng o ueloe, ngantui o sak tih.
they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
19 Angraeng mah nihcae khaeah lok thuih pacoengah, anih loe van ah lak tahang moe, Sithaw bantang bangah anghnut.
So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 To pacoengah a hnukbang kaminawk loe caeh o moe, ahmuen kruekah tamthanglok hoih to taphong o, Angraeng loe nihcae hoi nawnto toksak moe, angmathaih hmuen sakhaih hoiah lok to a cak o sak. Amen.
They went out, and preached everywhere, the Master working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen ·So be it·.
