< Luka 21 >

1 Anih mah khet tahang naah, phoisa tabu thungah angraengnawk mah pacaeng ih phoisa to a hnuk,
And he looked up and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 to naah phoisa hnetto pacaeng kamtang lamhmai maeto doeh a hnuk.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 Anih mah, Loktang kang thuih o, Kalah kaminawk boih pongah hae kamtang lamhmai mah paek ih phoisa hae pop kue:
And he said, In truth I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all.
4 hae kaminawk boih loe a tawnh ih kamtlai thung hoiah ni Sithaw hanah paek o: toe nongpata mah loe amtanghaih hoi a hing thung patung ih hmuen to paek kik boeh, tiah a naa.
For all these out of their abundance cast in to the offerings; but she out of her penury cast in all the living that she had.
5 Thoemto kaminawk mah loe kahoih thlung hoi tangqum ah paek ih hmuennawk hoiah temple pathoephaih kawng to a thuih o.
And as some were saying of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones, and sacred gifts, he said,
6 To naah anih mah na hnuk o ih, maeto pacoeng maeto kamhong thlung to anghmat ai ah, vah phaenghaih atue to pha tih, tiah thuih pae.
As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be throw down.
7 Nihcae mah anih khaeah, Patukkung, hae hmuennawk loe natuek naah maw om tih? Hae hmuennawk oh tom naah loe kawbaktih angmathaih maw om tih? tiah a dueng o.
And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when then will these things be? and what will be the sign when these things are about to come to pass?
8 Anih mah, Minawk mah ang ling o han ai ah acoe oh: paroeai kaminawk kai ih ahmin hoiah angzo o ueloe, Kai loe Anih boeh ni; atue loe zoi boeh, tiah thui o tih: to pongah nangcae loe nihcae hnukah caeh o hmah.
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived. For many will come in my name, saying, I am He, and the time is at hand. Go not after them.
9 Misatukhaih hoi misa angkahhaih tamthang na thaih o naah, zii o hmah: hae baktih hmuennawk hae angzo hmaloe tih; toe boenghaih pha mak ai vop, tiah a naa.
And when ye hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified; for these things must first come to pass; but not immediately is the end.
10 To pacoengah anih mah nihcae khaeah, Acaeng maeto hoi maeto, prae maeto hoi maeto angkat o tih:
Then he said to them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
11 ahmuen kruekah kalen parai talihnawhaih, takang thohhaih, kasae nathaihnawk, van ah hnuk ih zit kaom hmuen hoi kalen parai angmathaihnawk to om tih.
and there will be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
12 Toe hae hmuennawk boih om ai naah, nihcae mah na naeh o ueloe, na pacaekthlaek o tih, kai ih ahmin pongah Sineko ah, thongim thungah, siangpahrangnawk hoi ukkungnawk hmaa ah na hoi o tih.
But before all these things they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues, and into prisons, and bringing you before kings and governors on account of my name.
13 Toe hae loe nangcae han tanghaih kawng taphonghaih atue kahoih ah om tih.
It will turn out to you an opportunity for bearing testimony.
14 Nangcae mah timaw pathim han, tito mawnh han ai ah acoe oh:
Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate l beforehand what ye shall answer.
15 na misanawk mah lok to aek moe, poek anghmang o sak sut han ai ah, lokthuih thaihaih hoi palunghahaih to kang paek o han.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or gainsay.
16 Amno ampa, nawkamya, canawk hoi ampuinawk mah na pahnawt o ueloe, nihcae mah nangcae thung ih thoemto kaminawk to hum o tih.
And ye will be delivered up both by parents and brothers and kinsmen and friends; and some of you will they put to death.
17 Kai ih ahmin pongah kaminawk boih mah na hnuma o tih.
And ye will be hated by all on account of my name.
18 Toe na lu nui ih sam maeto mataeng doeh anghma mak ai.
But not a hair of your head will be lost.
19 Palung sawk ah na pauep o haih rang hoiah na hing o haih pakhra pahlong ah om tih, tiah a naa.
By your constancy secure your lives.
20 Misatuh kaminawk mah ven khoep ih Jerusalem to na hnuk o naah, Jerusalem pong suthaih atue loe zoi boeh, tito panoek oh.
But when ye see Jerusalem encompassed by armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.

Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let those who are within the city go out of it, and let not those in the open country enter it.
22 To ninawk loe cabu thungah tarik ih hmuennawk boih akoep thai hanah, lu lakhaih niah om tih.
For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 To niah zokpomh nongpata hoi caa nawkta tawn nongpatanawk loe khosak bing o! Prae thungah amtanghaih paraihaih om ueloe, hae kaminawk nuiah palungphuihaih to om tih.
But woe to the women with child, and to those having children at the breast, in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people;
24 Nihcae loe sumsen hoiah dueh o ueloe, acaeng boih misong ah laem o tih: Gentelnawk ih atue koep ai karoek to Jerusalem loe Gentelnawk mah atii o tih.
and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led away captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trodden down by the gentiles, until the times of the gentiles are fulfilled.
25 Ni, khrah hoi cakaehnawk nuiah angmathaih to om tih; long kaminawk loe dawnraihaih hoi mawnhaih hoiah om o tih, tuipui ah tuiphu angthawkhaih to om tih;
And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and on the earth distress of nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and waves;

men's hearts failing them from fear, and from looking for those things which are coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 To naah nihcae mah thacakhaih, thui laek ai lensawkhaih hoi tamai nuiah angzo Kami capa to hnu o tih.
And then will they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

And when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 To pacoengah nihcae khaeah hae patahhaih hae a thuih pae; Thaiduet thing hoi thingnawk boih to khen oh;
And he spoke to them a parable: Behold the fig-tree and all the trees;
30 aqam kanawk tacawt naah, nipui tue loe zoi boeh, tiah na panoek o.
when they have already shot forth, ye see it, and know of yourselves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 To baktih toengah, hae baktih kaom hmuennawk hae na hnuk o naah, Sithaw prae loe zoi boeh, tito panoek oh.
So also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Loktang kang thuih o, hae hmuennawk akoep ai karoek to hae dung ih kaminawk laem o boih mak ai vop.
Truly do I say to you, that this generation will not pass away, till all shall have taken place.
33 Van hoi long anghma tih: toe ka lok loe anghmaa mak ai.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
34 Nangmacae hoi nangmacae to acoehaih hoiah om oh, to tih ai nahaeloe caaknaek amthlai hmoekhaih, mu naek hmoekhaih, hae long nui khosak mawnhaih hoi poek angpho nathuem ah, poek ai pui hoiah to ani to pha moeng tih.
But take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be weighed down with surfeiting and drunkenness and worldly cares, and that day come upon you unawares.
35 To ni loe long nuiah kaom kaminawk boih nuiah thaang baktiah angzo tih.
For as a snare will it come on all that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 To pongah hae kaom han koi hmuennawk hoiah na loih o moe, Kami Capa hmaa ah nang doet o thai hanah, lawkthuih toepsoephaih hoiah zing oh, tiah a naa.
But watch at all times, and pray that ye may be able to escape all the things that are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 Anih loe khodai naah tempul thungah kaminawk to patuk moe, khoving naah Olive, tiah kawk ih mae nuiah oh hanah a caeh.
And during the daytime he was teaching in the temple; but at night he went out, and lodged in the mount called the Mount of Olives.
38 Anih ih lok tahngai hanah kaminawk boih khawnbang khawnthaw ah tempul ah caeh o.
And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, to hear him.
