< Oihaih Laa 1 >
1 Kami hoiah koi vangpui, kawbangmaw angqaikrang ah na oh sut! Praenawk boih salakah lensawkhaih hoi kaom, kawbangmaw lamhmai baktiah na oh ving! Praenawk ih siangpahrang canu loe kawbangmaw tamut paek kami ah oh ving loe!
Howe doeth the citie remaine solitarie that was full of people? she is as a widowe: she that was great among the nations, and princesse among the prouinces, is made tributarie.
2 Anih loe khoving ah palungnat hoi qah moe, tangbaeng nuiah mikkhraetui long; a tlangainawk thungah anih pathloepkung mi doeh om o ai; ampuinawk boih a nuiah oep om o ai, anih ih misa ah angcoeng o boih boeh.
She weepeth continually in the night, and her teares runne downe by her cheekes: among all her louers, she hath none to comfort her: all her friendes haue delt vnfaithfully with her, and are her enemies.
3 Judah loe patanghaih hoi karai toksakhaih pongah, misong ah angcoeng boeh; Sithaw panoek ai prae thungah a oh moe, monghaih to hnu ai boeh; anih patom kaminawk mah anih to ahmuen tamcaek ah kae o.
Iudah is caried away captiue because of affliction, and because of great seruitude: shee dwelleth among the heathen, and findeth no rest: all her persecuters tooke her in the straites.
4 Mi doeh poihkung ah angzo o ai pongah, Zion loe palungset; anih ih khongkhanawk boih loe angqaikrang boeh; nihcae ih qaimanawk doeh angpho o boeh; tangla cuemnawk loe palungnat o moe, palungboenghaih hoiah khosak o.
The wayes of Zion lament, because no man commeth to the solemne feastes: all her gates are desolate: her Priests sigh: her virgins are discomfited, and she is in heauinesse.
5 A sakpazaehaih pop hmoek baktih toengah Angraeng mah danpaek pongah, a hnukma ih kaminawk to ukkung ah oh o lat moe, a misanawk doeh khosak hoih o boeh; a caanawk loe a misanawk hma ah misong ah laemh o boeh.
Her aduersaries are the chiefe, and her enemies prosper: for the Lord hath afflicted her, for the multitude of her transgressions, and her children are gone into captiuitie before the enemie.
6 Zion canu loe lensawkhaih hoi kranghoihaih mah caehtaak ving boeh; anih ih siangpahrang capanawk loe caak hanah qam kahing hnu ai tasuk baktiah ni oh o boeh; patom kaminawk hma ah angpho qawt ah a cawnh o.
And from the daughter of Zion all her beautie is departed: her princes are become like harts that finde no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer.
7 Jerusalem loe kamtang tonghaih niah, canghnii ah a tawnh ih khosak hoihaih to a poek; angmah ih kaminawk misa ban thungah krak o naah, abomkung tawn ai; a misanawk mah dan o moe, amrohaih to pahnui o thuih.
Ierusalem remembred the dayes of her affliction, and of her rebellion, and all her pleasant things, that shee had in times past, when her people fell into the hande of the enemie, and none did helpe her: the aduersarie sawe her, and did mocke at her Sabbaths.
8 Jerusalem loe paroeai zae boeh pongah, panuet thoh boeh; bangkrai ah ohhaih to a hnuk o naah, anih khingza vaih kaminawk mah doeh anih to patoek o boeh; ue, anih loe angpho moe, hnukbang amlaem ving boeh.
Ierusalem hath grieuously sinned, therefore shee is in derision: all that honoured her, despise her, because they haue seene her filthinesse: yea, she sigheth and turneth backeward.
9 Panuet kaom hmuen loe anih ih canghnak nuiah akap; anih loe hmabang kaom han koi boenghaih to poek ai; to pongah pathloepkung om ai, dawnrai han oh, anih loe amtim maat boeh; Aw Angraeng, patang ka khanghaih hae khenah, misanawk loe amoek o boeh.
Her filthinesse is in her skirts: she remembred not her last ende, therefore she came downe wonderfully: she had no comforter: O Lord, behold mine affliction: for the enemie is proud.
10 Anih ih hmuenmaenawk loe misanawk mah lomh pae o boeh; nang ih kaminawk angpophaih ahmuen ah akun o sak hmah, tiah lok na paek ih Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk loe hmuenciim thungah akun o boeh, tiah Jerusalem mah hnuk boeh.
The enemie hath stretched out his hande vpon al her pleasant things: for she hath seene the heathen enter into her Sanctuarie, whom thou diddest commande, that they shoulde not enter into thy Church.
11 Anih ih kaminawk loe angpho o boih moe, takaw to pakrong o; a hing o thai hanah a tawnh o ih hmuennawk to buh hoiah alaih o; Aw Angraeng, khenah, kai loe hnaphnae ih kami ah ka oh boeh.
All her people sigh and seeke their bread: they haue giuen their pleasant thinges for meate to refresh the soule: see, O Lord, and consider: for I am become vile.
12 Nangcae, a taengah caeh kaminawk, nangcae hanah loe tiah doeh om ai maw? Khen oh loe, poek oh, Angraeng palungphuihaih niah, ka nuiah phaksak ih patangkhanghaih baktiah patangkhang kami oh maw?
Haue ye no regarde, all yee that passe by this way? behold, and see, if there be any sorowe like vnto my sorowe, which is done vnto mee, wherewith the Lord hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce wrath.
13 Ranui bang hoiah ka huh thungah hmai to ang patoeh moe, ka huhnawk to ang hmawnsak boeh; ka khok aman hanah thang ang patung pae moe, hnukbang ah amlaemsak ving boeh; kai palung ang boengsak moe, athun qui tha ang zoksak sut boeh.
From aboue hath hee sent fire into my bones, which preuaile against them: he hath spred a net for my feete, and turned me backe: hee hath made me desolate, and daily in heauinesse.
The yoke of my transgressions is bounde vpon his hand: they are wrapped, and come vp vpon my necke: hee hath made my strength to fall: the Lord hath deliuered me into their hands, neither am I able to rise vp.
15 Angraeng mah kaimah ih thacak kaminawk to kaimah salakah, khok hoiah cawh moe, kai ih thendoengnawk to tuk hanah, paroeai kaminawk to kawk; misurthaih pasawh baktiah Angraeng mah tangla cuem Judah canu to khok hoiah cawh.
The Lord hath troden vnder foote all my valiant men in the middes of me: he hath called an assembly against me to destroy my yong men: the Lord hath troden the wine presse vpon the virgine the daughter of Iudah.
16 To pongah ka qah; ka mik hoiah mikkhraetui to long boeh; ka hing thai hanah pathloepkung ka taeng ah mi doeh om ai; misa mah ang pazawk boeh pongah, ka caanawk loe anghmat o boih boeh.
For these things I weepe: mine eye, euen mine eye casteth out water, because the comforter that should refresh my soule, is farre from me: my children are desolate, because the enemie preuailed.
17 Zion mah a ban to payangh, toe pathloepkung mi doeh om ai; a taengah kaom kaminawk misa ah angcoengsak hanah, Angraeng mah Jakob nuiah lok takroek boeh; Jerusalem loe to kaminawk salakah ciimcai ai nongpata baktiah oh boeh.
Zion stretcheth out her handes, and there is none to comfort her: the Lord hath appoynted the enemies of Iaakob rounde about him: Ierusalem is as a menstruous woman in the middes of them.
18 Angraeng loe toeng, a paek ih lok to ka aek; kaminawk boih tahngai oh, ka patanghaih hae khen oh; ka thendoengnawk hoi tanglanawk loe misong ah laemh o boih boeh.
The Lord is righteous: for I haue rebelled against his commandement: heare, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorowe: my virgins and my yong men are gone into captiuitie.
19 Kaimah ih tlangainawk to ka kawk, toe nihcae mah ang ling o; kai ih qaimanawk hoi kacoehtanawk loe a hing o thai hanah buh pakrong o nakung ah, vangpui thungah hinghaih boeng o boih boeh.
I called for my louers, but they deceiued me: my Priestes and mine Elders perished in the citie while they sought their meate to refresh their soules.
20 Aw Angraeng, khenah, palung ka boeng boeh; ka hinghaih patangkhang sut boeh; palung doeh patangkhang sut boeh; na lok to ka aek moeng boeh; tasa bang ah sumsen hoiah nganbawh kana ka hak, athung bang ah loe kadueh baktiah ka oh.
Behold, O Lord, howe I am troubled: my bowels swell: mine heart is turned within me, for I am ful of heauinesse: the sword spoyleth abroad, as death doeth at home.
21 Kang phohaih to kaminawk mah thaih o; kai pathloepkung mi doeh om ai; patang ka khanghaih loe ka misanawk boih mah thaih o; na sak ih hmuen nuiah anghoe o; na khaeh ih ani na phaksak naah loe, nihcae doeh kai baktiah om o tih.
They haue heard that I mourne, but there is none to comfort mee: all mine enemies haue heard of my trouble, and are glad, that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day, that thou hast pronounced, and they shalbe like vnto me.
22 Nihcae sethaih boih loe na hma ah amtueng nasoe; ka sakpazaehaihnawk boih pongah ka nuiah na sak ih baktih toengah, nihcae nuiah doeh sah toeng ah; kang phohaih paroeai pop boeh pongah, poekhaih palungthin doeh ka zai sut boeh.
Let all their wickednes come before thee: do vnto them, as thou hast done vnto me, for all my transgressions: for my sighes are many, and mine heart is heauy.
