Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, to the wedding.

When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine.”
4 Jesu mah anih khaeah, Nongpata nang hoi kai timaw asaenghaih oh? Kai ih atue pha ai vop, tiah a naa.
Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come.”
5 Amno mah tamnanawk khaeah, Ang thuih o ih lok baktiah sah oh, tiah a naa.
His mother said to the servants, “Whatever he says to you, do it.”
6 Judahnawk amprikcaihaih atawk baktih toengah, toah Kalan pumphaeto, to tih ai boeh loe quithumto akun, moiroih tarukto pahung o.
Now there were six water pots of stone set there after the Jews’ way of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece.
7 Jesu mah nihcae khaeah, Muiroih to tui pakoih oh, tiah a naa. Nihcae mah muroih koiah tui to thaeng o.
Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim.
8 Anih mah nihcae khaeah, Vaihi tui to buek oh loe, poih khawng kacoehta khaeah sin oh, tiah a naa. A thuih ih lok baktiah nihcae mah sak pae o.
He said to them, “Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast.” So they took it.

When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom
10 anih khaeah, Kaminawk loe misur asing tui bae hmaloe ah patoem o; kaminawk paquih o boep tih naah ni, kahoih ai misurtui to paek o vop: toe nang loe vaihi khoek to maw misur asing tui na suek vop! tiah a naa.
and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now!”
11 Hae loe Jesu mah Kalili prae Kana vangpui ah sak tangsuek ih dawnrai hmuen ah oh moe, a lensawkhaih to amtuengsak; a hnukbang kaminawk mah Anih to tang o.
This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
12 To pacoengah amno, nawkamyanawk, a hnukbang kaminawk hoi nawnto Kapernuam vangpui ah caeh o: to ah ni kasawk cam o ai.
After this, he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, his brothers, and his disciples; and they stayed there a few days.
13 Judahnawk ih misong loihhaih ni phak tom naah, Jesu loe Jerusalem ah caeh tahang,
The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 tempul thungah maitaw, tuu, pahuu zaw kaminawk hoi phoisa athlaeng kaminawk to a hnuk:
He found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting.
15 Anih mah bohhaih qui tetta to sak moe, maitaw, tuu hoi to ih kaminawk to tempul thung hoiah haek boih; phoisa athlaeng kaminawk ih phoisa to kraih pae moe, caboinawk doeh pakhup pae boih;
He made a whip of cords and drove all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers’ money and overthrew their tables.
16 pahuu zaw kaminawk khaeah, Hae ahmuen hoiah hae hmuennawk hae la oh; kam Pa ih im hae hmuenmae zawhhaih im ah sah o hmah, tiah a naa.
To those who sold the doves, he said, “Take these things out of here! Don’t make my Father’s house a marketplace!”
17 To naah a hnukbang kaminawk mah, Na im palunghaih mah Kai ang caak boih boeh, tiah tarik ih lok to poek o vawk.
His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will eat me up.”
18 To naah Judahnawk mah anih khaeah, Hae hmuennawk na sak naah, tih angmathaih maw kaicae han nang hnuksak? tiah dueng o.
The Jews therefore answered him, “What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?”
19 Jesu mah nihcae khaeah, Hae tempul hae phrae oh, ni thumto thungah ka padoet let han, tiah a naa.
Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20 To naah Judahnawk mah, Saning quipali, tarukto thung ka sak o ih, hae tempul hae nang mah ni thumto thungah na padoet let han maw? tiah a naa o.
The Jews therefore said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple! Will you raise it up in three days?”
21 Toe anih mah thuih koehhaih loe angmah ih takpum tempul to ni.
But he spoke of the temple of his body.
22 Anih duekhaih hoi angthawk let naah, a hnukbang kaminawk khaeah a thuih pae ih lok to panoek o let; to pongah nihcae loe Cabu hoi Jesu mah thuih ih lok to tang o.
When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
23 Anih Jerusalem ih misong loihhaih poihkung ah oh naah, anih mah sak ih dawnrai hmuennawk to hnuk o, to naah paroeai kaminawk mah anih ih ahmin to tang o.
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name, observing his signs which he did.
24 Toe Jesu mah kaminawk to panoek boih pongah, anih loe to kaminawk khaeah angmah hoi angmah to nihcae tlim ah angpaek ai.
But Jesus didn’t entrust himself to them, because he knew everyone,
25 Kami ih palungthin to anih mah panoek pongah, mi kawbaktih mah doeh anih hanah kami kawng thuih pae han angai ai.
and because he didn’t need for anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
