< Job 25 >

1 To naah Shud acaeng Bildad mah,
Then Baldad the Sauchite answered and said,
2 Sithaw loe ukhaih, khingyahaih hoiah koi; anih ohhaih hmuensang ah loe monghaih to ohsak.
What beginning or fear is his—even he that makes all things in the highest?
3 Mi mah maw anih ih misatuh kaminawk to kroek thai tih? Anih aanghaih mah toeh ai ih mi maw kaom?
For let none think that there is a respite for robbers: and upon whom will there not come a snare from him?
4 To tiah om nahaeloe kami loe kawbangmaw Sithaw hmaa ah toeng thai ueloe, kawbangmaw nongpata mah tapen ih kami loe ciim thai tih?
For how shall a mortal be just before the Lord? or who that is born of a woman shall purify himself?
5 Khenah, khrah doeh aang ai; cakaehnawk mataeng doeh anih hmaa ah ciim o ai nahaeloe,
If he gives an order to the moon, then it shines not; and the stars are not pure before him.
6 alungh ah kaom kami, sadong ah kaom, kami capa cae loe, kawkruk maw tidoeh athum ai ah om tih? tiah a naa.
But alas! man is corruption, and the son of man a worm.
