< Jeremiah 30 >
1 Jeremiah khaeah angzo Angraeng ih lok loe,
The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2 Angraeng Israel Sithaw mah, Kang thuih ih loknawk boih cabu thungah tarik hanah, ang thuih.
“The LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘Write all the words that I have spoken to you in a book.
3 Khenah, kaimah ih kami Israel hoi Judah to misong angtanghaih thung hoiah ka hoih lethaih atue to pha tih; nihcae to ampanawk khaeah ka paek ih prae ah kam laemsak let han, nihcae mah to prae to toep o tih, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
For, behold, the days come,’ says the LORD, ‘that I will reverse the captivity of my people Israel and Judah,’ says the LORD. ‘I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it.’”
4 Israel hoi Judah kawng pongah Angraeng mah hae tiah lokthuih.
These are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
5 Angraeng mah, Tasoeh takuenhaih hoi zithaih lok to ka thaih; monghaih om ai, tiah thuih.
For the LORD says: “We have heard a voice of trembling; a voice of fear, and not of peace.
6 Nongpa loe caa tapen vai maw? Dueng o noek ah! Khenah, tipongah nihcae loe nongpata ca tapen tom nathuem ih baktiah, kaeng nuiah ban to koeng o moe, athii om ai baktiah mikhmai anglung o rawk loe?
Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child. Why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned pale?
7 To ani loe kawkruk maw len tih! Tih hoiah doeh patah thai mak ai; to atue loe Jakob raihaih atue ah oh; toe anih loe to raihaih thung hoi pahlong ah om tih.
Alas, for that day is great, so that none is like it! It is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he will be saved out of it.
8 To niah loe na tahnong ih hnam to kang khaeh pae moe, ang pathlethaih sumquinawk doeh ka taprawt pae boih han; kalah prae kaminawk mah nihcae to natuek naah doeh misong ah patoh o mak ai boeh.
It will come to pass in that day, says the LORD of Armies, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds. Strangers will no more make them their bondservants;
9 Toe nihcae loe angmacae Angraeng Sithaw ih tok, nihcae ka paek han ih angmacae siangpahrang David ih tok to sah pae o tih.
but they will serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.
10 To pongah ka tamna, Aw Jakob, zii hmah; Aw Israel, tasoeh hmah, tiah Angraeng mah thuih; khenah, angthla parai prae, na caanawk misong ah oh o haih prae hoiah kang pahlong o han hmang; Jakob loe amlaem let ueloe, mawnhaih tawn ai, kamongah om tih, mi mah doeh pazih mak ai boeh.
Therefore do not be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says the LORD. Do not be dismayed, Israel. For, behold, I will save you from afar, and save your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob will return, and will be quiet and at ease. No one will make him afraid.
11 Nang to pahlong hanah nang hoi nawnto ka oh; nangcae kam hetsakhaih prae kaminawk to kang hmatsak boih boeh, toe nangcae loe kang hmaasak mak ai; toe nangcae loe thuitaek angaihaih baktiah kang thuitaek o han, thuitaek ai ah kang prawt o sut mak ai, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
For I am with you, says the LORD, to save you; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.”
12 Angraeng mah, Na hmaa loe hoih thai ai, na hmaa loe nung parai, tiah thuih.
For the LORD says, “Your hurt is incurable. Your wound is grievous.
13 Na hmaa to hoih thai hanah, hnikung mi doeh om ai; na hoihhaih tasi om ai.
There is no one to plead your cause, that you may be bound up. You have no healing medicines.
14 Nam puinawk mah, ang pahnet o boih boeh; tidoeh na poek o ai boeh; na zaehaih loe pop hmoek moe, na sakpazaehaih len hmoek boeh pongah, misa mah boh baktiah kang boh; kami kasae thuitaek baktiah kang thuitaek.
All your lovers have forgotten you. They do not seek you. For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins were increased.
15 Tipongah kana ahmaa pongah na qah loe? Na sakpazaehaih to len hmoek moe, na zaehaih pop hmoek pongah, hae hmuennawk hae na nuiah ka sak.
Why do you cry over your injury? Your pain is incurable. For the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins have increased, I have done these things to you.
16 Toe nang paaeh kaminawk loe paaeh ah om toeng tih; na misanawk loe misong ah laem o boih tih; nang naeh kaminawk loe naeh ah om toeng ueloe, nang amrosak kaminawk doeh amrosak toeng tih.
Therefore all those who devour you will be devoured. All your adversaries, everyone of them, will go into captivity. Those who plunder you will be plunder. I will make all who prey on you become prey.
17 Minawk mah, Vah sut ih kami, mi mah doeh khetzawn ai ih Zion, tiah thui o cadoeh, ngan kang tui o sak moe, na hmaanawk kang hoisak let han, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,” says the LORD, “because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’”
18 Angraeng mah, Khenah, misong ah kalaem Jakob ih kahni imnawk to ka zaeh let moe, a ohhaih ahmuen nuiah tahmenhaih ka tawnh let han; vangpui doeh amrohaih ahmuen hoiah sak let ah om ueloe, siangpahrang im doeh angmah ih ahmuen ah angdoe let tih, tiah thuih.
The LORD says: “Behold, I will reverse the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have compassion on his dwelling places. The city will be built on its own hill, and the palace will be inhabited in its own place.
19 Nihcae khae hoiah kawnhaih laa lok hoi anghoehaih laa loknawk to angzo tih; nihcae loe tamsi mak ai, kang pungsak han; patoekhaih om mak ai, pakoehhaih ah ka phaksak han.
Thanksgiving will proceed out of them with the voice of those who make merry. I will multiply them, and they will not be few; I will also glorify them, and they will not be small.
20 A caanawk doeh canghnii ih baktiah om o tih, kaminawk to ka hmaa ah ka caksak moe, nihcae pacaekthlaek kaminawk to ka thuitaek han.
Their children also will be as before, and their congregation will be established before me. I will punish all who oppress them.
21 Angmacae acaeng thung ih kami to nihcae zaehoikung ah om tih, nihcae ukkungnawk doeh angmacae thung ih kami ah ni om tih; anih han ka taengah anghnai ah, tiah ka thuih naah, ka taengah anghnai tih; mi mah maw angmah koeh ah kai khaeah anghnai vaih? tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
Their prince will be one of them, and their ruler will proceed from among them. I will cause him to draw near, and he will approach me; for who is he who has had boldness to approach me?” says the LORD.
22 To pongah nangcae loe kai ih kami ah na om o tih, kai doeh nangcae ih Sithaw ah ka oh han.
“You shall be my people, and I will be your God.
23 Khenah, Angraeng ih takhi kamhae loe palungphuihaih hoiah song, takhi loe ham parai, kasae kaminawk ih lu nuiah tha hoiah song tih.
Behold, the LORD’s storm, his wrath, has gone out, a sweeping storm; it will burst on the head of the wicked.
24 Palung thungah ka poek ih sak han koi hmuen to ka sak han, koep ai karoek to Angraeng palungphuihaih to azuk let mak ai; hmabangah hae baktih hmuennawk hae na panoek o tih.
The fierce anger of the LORD will not return until he has accomplished, and until he has performed the intentions of his heart. In the latter days you will understand it.”
