1 Amtang kaminawk khaeah tamthanglok hoih taphong hanah, Angraeng mah situi ang bawh boeh pongah, Angraeng Sithaw ih Muithla ka nuiah oh; anih mah poek amro kaminawk ih ahmaa to zaeng pae, misong ah kaom kaminawk khaeah loihaih lok to thuih pae moe, thongkrah kaminawk hanah thongim khongkha to paongh pae;
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners,
2 aicae Sithaw lu lakhaih ani hoi Angraeng anghoehaih saning to thuih a pae moe, palungsae kaminawk pathloep hanah,
to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all who mourn,
3 palungsae Zion kaminawk to pathloep moe, maiphu zuengah kranghoih lumuek, palungset zuengah anghoehaih situi, palung sethaih zuengah pakoehhaih kahni to paek hanah, kai hae ang patoeh boeh; a lensawkhaih amtuengsak hanah, nihcae to toenghaih thingkung, Angraeng mah thling ih thingkung, tiah kawk o tih boeh.
to console the mourners in Zion— to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
4 Nihcae mah canghnii hoiah kamro ahmuennawk to sah o let tih; angqai krangah kaom ahmuen hoi saning kasawkah amro tangcae, kapong sut vangpuinawk to pakhraih o let tih.
They will rebuild the ancient ruins; they will restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 Panoek ih kaminawk mah nang ih tuunawk to toep o tih, prae kalah kaminawk mah lawk to na phrawk pae o ueloe, misur takhanawk to na sah pae o tih.
Strangers will stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners will be your plowmen and vinedressers.
6 Nangcae to Angraeng ih qaima, tiah na kawk o ueloe, minawk mah aicae Sithaw ih toksah Kaminawk, tiah na kawk o tih; Gentelnawk ih angraenghaih hmuenmaenawk to na caa o ueloe, nihcae lensawkhaih to nam oek o haih tih.
But you will be called the priests of the LORD; they will speak of you as ministers of our God; you will feed on the wealth of nations, and you will boast in their riches.
7 Azathaih pongah alet hnetto tahamhoihaih na hnu o tih; ahmin set zuengah nihcae ih taham to na toep o tih; prae thungah tahamhoihaih alet hnetto na hnu o tih; nihcae loe dungzan anghoehaih hoiah om o tih boeh.
Instead of shame, My people will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation, they will rejoice in their share; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.
8 Kai Angraeng loe katoengah lokcaekhaih to koeh, minawk ih hmuenmae lomhaih hoi zaehaih to ka hnukma; oepthohhaih hoiah nihcae toksakhaih atho to ka paek han, nihcae hoiah dungzan lokmaihaih to ka sak han.
For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity; in My faithfulness I will give them their recompense and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Nihcae ih acaeng hoi a caanawk loe Gentel kaminawk salakah ahmin amthang o tih; nihcae hnu kaminawk boih mah, nihcae loe Angraeng mah tahamhoihaih paek ih kami, tiah thui o tih.
Their descendants will be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.
10 Kai loe Angraeng ah anghoehaih ka tawnh han, ka hinghaih doeh Sithaw ah anghoe tih; zu paluemh thendoeng ih lu loe qaima baktiah amthoep moe, sava sah tangla mah atho kaom hmuennawk hoiah amthoep baktih toengah, anih mah kai hanah pahlonghaih kahni angkuksak moe, toenghaih kahni hoiah ang khuk boeh.
I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom wears a priestly headdress, as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 Long mah akungnawk to amprawksak moe, takha mah aanmunawk to amprawksak baktih toengah, Angraeng Sithaw mah toenghaih hoi pakoehhaih to prae congca kaminawk hmaa ah omsak tih boeh.
For as the earth brings forth its growth, and as a garden enables seed to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
