< Isaiah 56 >

1 Angraeng mah hae tiah thuih, toenghaih to patawn ah loe, kamsoem hmuen to sah oh; ka pahlonghaih hoi ka toenghaih amtuenghaih atue to phak tom boeh.
The LORD says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is near and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
2 Hae hmuen sah kami, kacakah patawn kami, Sabbath ni aek ai ah zah moe, kahoih ai hmuen sak han ai ah ban pakhuem duem kaminawk loe tahamhoih o.
Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast; who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
3 Angraeng khaeah angzo prae kalah kami mah, Kai loe Angraeng mah angmah ih kaminawk thung hoiah takhoe ving boeh, tiah thui hmah nasoe; tangyat mii kadueh kami mah doeh, Khenah, kai loe thing kazaek tok ni, tiah poek hmah nasoe.
Let no foreigner who has joined himself to the LORD speak, saying, “The LORD will surely separate me from his people.” Do not let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
4 Kai ih Sabbath ni zaa tangzat mii kadueh kami khaeah Angraeng mah hae tiah thuih; ka koeh ih hmuennawk to sah moe, ka lokmaihaih kacakah patawn kaminawk loe,
For the LORD says, “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, choose the things that please me, and hold fast to my covenant,
5 Ka im thung hoi kai ih tapang nuiah capanawk hoi canunawk pongah kahoih kue ahmin to ka paek han; angphrae thai ai dungzan ahmin to ka paek han.
I will give them in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.
6 Angraeng khaeah toksakhaih, anih ih ahmin palunghaih, tamna ah oh hanah, Angraeng khaeah angzo prae kalah kaminawk, Sabbath ni aek ai ah zaa kaminawk boih hoi ka lokmaihaih kacakah patawn kaminawk loe,
Also the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD to serve him, and to love the LORD’s name, to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant,
7 Kaimah ih kaciim mae ah ka caeh haih moe, lawkthuihaih ka im ah anghoehaih hoiah ka ohsak han; ka hmaicam nuiah a sak o ih hmai angbawnhaih hoi a paek o ih angbawnhaih moi to ka talawk pae han; ka im loe prae kaminawk boih lawkthuihaih im, tiah kawk o tih.
I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
8 Ahmuen kruekah kamhet Israel kaminawk pakhuengkung Angraeng Sithaw mah, pakhueng tangcae ih kaminawk pacoengah, kalah kaminawk doeh anih khaeah ka pakhueng han vop, tiah thuih.
The Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “I will yet gather others to him, in addition to his own who are gathered.”
9 Taw ih moinawk boih, ue, taw thung ih moinawk boih, caak han angzo oh!
All you animals of the field, come to devour, all you animals in the forest.
10 Israel ih misatoep kaminawk loe mikmaeng o; nihcae loe panoekhaih vawt o, uk thai ai ui baktih oh o moe, uk o thai ai; nihcae loe iih koeh o, tabok o moe, iih angam o.
His watchmen are blind. They are all without knowledge. They are all mute dogs. They cannot bark— dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Ue, nihcae loe boep thai ai caak kamoeh uinawk ni, nihcae loe panoekhaih tawn ai tuutoep kami ah oh o; nihcae loe angmacae koehhaih loklam bangah anghae o boih, kami boih angmacae amekhaih khue ni pakrong o.
Yes, the dogs are greedy. They can never have enough. They are shepherds who cannot understand. They have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.
12 Angzo oh, misurtui ka sinh han! Palung khuek tih karoek to mu nae o noek si! Khawnbang doeh vaihni baktiah ni om tih, vaihi pongah doeh pop kue tih, tiah nihcae mah thuih o.
“Come,” they say, “I will get wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow will be as today, great beyond measure.”
