< Isaiah 54 >

1 Aw caa kak, nawkta tapen vai ai nang, laa to sah ah; caa tapenhaih kana panoek vai ai nang, anghoehaih hoiah laa to sah loe hang ah; sava sah nongpata pongah pahnawt sut ih nongpata mah caa pop kue ah sak boeh, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
Sing, O barren, she hath not borne! Break forth with singing, and cry aloud, She hath not brought forth! For more [are] the sons of the desolate, Than the sons of the married one, said Jehovah.
2 Nangmah ih kahni im to kawksak ah loe, na imkhaan pakaahaih kahni to kakawk ah payueng ah; paawt hmah; quinawk to azuk ah loe komhaih tungnawk to kacakah thling ah.
Enlarge the place of thy tent, And the curtains of thy tabernacles they stretch out, Restrain not — lengthen thy cords, And thy pins make strong.
3 Nang loe banqoi bantang na pung tih; na caanawk mah Gentel kaminawk to qawk ah toep o ueloe, kapong sut nihcae ih vangpuinawk ah kho na sah o tih.
For right and left thou breakest forth, And thy seed doth nations possess,
4 Zii hmah, azathaih na tong mak ai; mikhmaisethaih to zii hmah; azathaih na tongh mak ai; na qoeng li nathuem ih azathaih to na pahnet tih boeh, lamhmai ah na oh nathuem ih kasaethuihaih doeh na panoek mak ai boeh.
And desolate cities they cause to be inhabited. Fear not, for thou art not ashamed, Nor blush, for thou art not confounded, For the shame of thy youth thou forgettest, And the reproach of thy widowhood Thou dost not remember any more.
5 Nang Sahkung loe na sava ah oh; anih ih ahmin loe misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng, tiah oh; nang akrangkung loe Ciimcai Israel Sithaw ah oh moe, anih loe long pum ukkung Sithaw, tiah kawk o.
For thy Maker [is] thy husband, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name, And thy Redeemer [is] the Holy One of Israel, 'God of all the earth,' He is called.
6 Pahnawt sut ih thendoeng zu, pahnawt sut pacoengah palungset hoiah kaom nongpata to kawk let baktih toengah, Angraeng mah na kawk let tih, tiah na Sithaw mah thuih.
For, as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Called thee hath Jehovah, Even a youthful wife when she is refused, said thy God.
7 Nang to nawnetta thungah ni kang pahnawt, toe kalen parai tahmenhaih hoiah kang lak let han.
In a small moment I have forsaken thee, And in great mercies I do gather thee,
8 Palungphui parai pongah nawnetta thung mikhmai kang hawk tak; toe na nuiah dungzan tahmenhaih hoi palungnathaih ka tawnh let han, tiah nang akrangkung Angraeng mah thuih.
In overflowing wrath I hid my face [for] a moment from thee, And in kindness age-during I have loved thee, Said thy Redeemer — Jehovah!
9 Hae loe kai hanah Noah dung nathuem ah kaom hmuen baktiah oh; Noah dung nathuem ih baktiah tui mah long hae uem let mak ai boeh, tiah lokkamhaih sak baktih toengah, na nuiah palungphuihaih to ka tawn mak ai, kang zoeh mak ai boeh, tiah lokkamhaih ka sak boeh.
For, the waters of Noah [is] this to Me, In that I have sworn — the waters of Noah Do not pass again over the earth — So I have sworn, Wrath is not upon thee, Nor rebuke against thee.
10 Maenawk to anghuenh o moe, maesomnawk angthui o langlacadoeh, nang kang palunghaih loe anghmaa mak ai, angdaeh hanah ka sak ih lokkamhaih doeh anghmaa mak ai, tiah na nuiah tahmenhaih tawnkung Angraeng mah thuih.
For the mountains depart, and the hills remove, And My kindness from thee departeth not, And the covenant of My peace removeth not, Said hath thy loving one — Jehovah.
11 Aw patangkhanghaih hoiah kaom Jerusalem nang, takhi sae mah ang hmuh phaeng boeh, monghaih tawn ai nang, khenah, rong congca thlung kathim hoiah kang pathoep moe, nang doethaih ahmuen to sapphire thlung hoiah ka sak let han.
O afflicted, storm-tossed, not comforted, Lo, I am laying with cement thy stones, And have founded thee with sapphires,
12 Na imphu to thlung kathim hoiah ka sak moe, na khongkhanawk to rong kampha thlung hoiah ka sak han, tapangnawk doeh atho kana thlung hoiah kang sak pae han.
And have made of agate thy pinnacles, And thy gates of carbuncle stones, And all thy border of stones of delight,
13 Na caanawk loe Angraeng mah patuk ih kami ah om o boih tih, to tiah nihcae loe pop parai monghaih hoiah koi o tih boeh.
And all thy sons are taught of Jehovah, And abundant [is] the peace of thy sons.
14 Nang loe toenghaih hoiah kacakah na om tih; pacaekthlaekhaih mah na caehtaak ueloe, zithaih na tawn mak ai boeh; zitthok hmuennawk doeh na taengah angzo mak ai boeh.
In righteousness thou establishest thyself, Be far from oppression, for thou fearest not, And from ruin, for it cometh not near unto thee.
15 Khenah, nang tuk hanah nihcae nawnto amkhueng o cadoeh, kai mah ka tuhsak ai; mi kawbaktih doeh nang tuh kami loe thazok ueloe, nang khaeah angpaek o lat tih.
Lo, he doth diligently assemble without My desire, Who hath assembled near thee? By thee he falleth!
16 Khenah, hmai amngaeh hanah hmutkung, maiphaw sakhaih sum sinkung, sumdaengkung hoi hmuenmae parokung doeh kaimah ni ka sak.
Lo, I — I have prepared an artisan, Blowing on a fire of coals, And bringing out an instrument for his work, And I have prepared a destroyer to destroy.
17 Nang tuk hanah sak ih maiphaw loe azom pui ah om tih, nang lokcaek hanah zaehaih net pahninawk doeh sung o tih. Hae loe Angraeng ih tamnanawk mah toep han koi qawk ah oh, nihcae toenghaih loe kai khae hoiah ni angzo tih, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
No weapon formed against thee prospereth, And every tongue rising against thee, In judgment thou condemnest. This [is] the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, And their righteousness from me, an affirmation of Jehovah!
