< Isaiah 27 >
1 To na niah loe kacawn thaih Leviathan pahui to Angraeng mah angmah ih sumsen kanoe, thacak sumsen kalen hoiah hum tih, tuipui thungah kaom angkawn ut ah angkaae pahui pui Leviathan to hum tih.
In that day, Yahweh with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and leviathan, the twisted serpent; and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea.
2 To na niah misurtui kathim pasawhhaih misur takha hanah laa to sah oh.
In that day, sing to her, “A pleasant vineyard!
3 Kai Angraeng mah takha to ka toep; boeng ai ah tui to ka bawh han; minawk mah paro han ai ah, khoving khodai ka toep han.
I, Yahweh, am its keeper. I will water it every moment. Lest anyone damage it, I will keep it night and day.
4 Misur takha nuiah palung ka phui ai; kapring hoi soekhring mah kai hae na tuh tih maw? Nihcae tuk hanah hmabang ah ka caeh moe, nihcae to hmai hoiah ka thlaek king han.
Wrath is not in me, but if I should find briers and thorns, I would do battle! I would march on them and I would burn them together.
5 To tih ai boeh loe abuep hanah kai khaeah angzo o nasoe loe, angdaehhaih sah o nasoe; kai hoi angdaehhaih sah o nasoe.
Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me. Let him make peace with me.”
6 Hmabang ah loe Jakob mah tangzun sah tih; Israel mah apawk to tangmuemh ueloe apawk tih, to tiah long loe athaih hoiah koi tih.
In days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and bud. They will fill the surface of the world with fruit.
7 Israel pacaekthlaek kaminawk Angraeng mah pacaekthlaek baktih toengah, Angraeng mah Israel to pacaekthlaek toeng maw? Nihcae hum kaminawk baktiah anih mah Israel to hum maw?
Has he struck them as he struck those who struck them? Or are they killed like those who killed them were killed?
8 Angraeng mah anih to thuitaek moe, a haek; ni angyae bang ih takhi song naah loe, thacak takhi mah anih to hmuh phaeng.
In measure, when you send them away, you contend with them. He has removed them with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.
9 To pongah Jakob ih acaeng mah Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk ih hmaicam thlungnawk to thungh baktiah kadip puengah ahnoih o moe, thing hoiah sak ih krangnawk, hmuihoih thlaekhaih hmaicamnawk to pakhruk o boih naah ni, nihcae ih zaehaih to ciim vop tih, hae loe anih zae ciimhaih thingthai ah om tih.
Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherah poles and the incense altars shall rise no more.
10 Toe kacak sipae hoi pakaa ih vangpui loe angqai krang ueloe, athung ah kami om mak ai, praezaek baktiah pahnawt o sut tih boeh; to ahmuen ah maitaw caanawk to pra o tih, to ah tabok o ueloe, thing tanghangnawk to caa o tih.
For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness. The calf will feed there, and there he will lie down, and consume its branches.
11 Thing tanghangnawk loe zaek ueloe angkhaek tih; to naah nongpatanawk angzo o ueloe, hmaitik hanah la o tih; hae kaminawk loe panoekhaih tawn o ai; to pongah nihcae sahkung loe nihcae nuiah tahmenhaih tawn mak ai, nihcae Omsakkung loe nihcae nuiah tahmenhaih tawn mak ai.
When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off. The women will come and set them on fire, for they are a people of no understanding. Therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor.
12 To na niah Angraeng mah vapui longhaih ahmuen hoi Izip prae vapui khoek to thingthai to pakhrik tih, Aw nangcae Israel caanawk loe maeto pacoeng maeto akhuih ih thingthai ah na om o tih.
It will happen in that day that Yahweh will thresh from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, children of Israel.
13 To na niah kalen parai mongkah to ueng o tih, Assyria ah kanghmaa kaminawk hoi Izip prae ah misong ah kalaem kaminawk to angzo o ueloe, Jerusalem mae ciim nuiah Angraeng to bok o tih boeh.
It will happen in that day that a great trumpet will be blown; and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they will worship Yahweh in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
