< Isaiah 25 >
1 Aw Angraeng, nang loe ka Sithaw ni; kasang koekah kang pakoeh moe, na hmin to kang pakoeh han; canghnii hoiah sak na tim ih hmuennawk to amkhrai ai ah oepthohhaih hoi dawnrai hmuennawk to na sak boeh.
O LORD, You are my God! I will exalt You; I will praise Your name. For You have worked wonders— plans formed long ago— in perfect faithfulness.
2 Vangpui to anghnoeng tapophaih ahmuen ah na sak; kacak vangpui doeh nam rosak boeh; prae kalah kaminawk ohhaih ahmuen loe vangpui ah om mak ai; mi mah doeh sah mak ai.
Indeed, You have made the city a heap of rubble, the fortified town a ruin. The fortress of strangers is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.
3 To pongah thacak kaminawk mah nang to pakoeh o tih; zitthok kaminawk ih vangpui mah doeh nang to zii o tih boeh.
Therefore, a strong people will honor You. The cities of ruthless nations will revere You.
4 Nang loe kamtangnawk abuephaih, kavawt kaminawk palungboeng naah abuephaih ah na oh; takhi sae song naah abuephaih, ni bet naah abuephaih tahlip kahoih ah na oh; tahmenhaih tawn ai kaminawk ih palungphuihaih loe tapang kahmut rup takhi sae baktiah oh.
For You have been a refuge for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like rain against a wall,
5 Praezaek ih ni kabae baktiah, prae kalah kaminawk hanghaih loknawk to na dipsak tih; tamai mah ni kabae khuk khoep baktiah, mi tahmenhaih tawn ai kaminawk ih laa lok to dii tih boeh.
like heat in a dry land. You subdue the uproar of foreigners. As the shade of a cloud cools the heat, so the song of the ruthless is silenced.
6 Hae mae ah misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng Sithaw mah kaminawk boih hanah buhraenghaih poih hoi saning kasawk ah suek ih misurtui naekhaih poih to sah pae ueloe, kakhraem koek moi hoi kahoih koek misurtui to patoem pae tih.
On this mountain the LORD of Hosts will prepare a banquet for all the peoples, a feast of aged wine, of choice meat, of finely aged wine.
7 Hae mae ah kaminawk boih mikhmai khukhaih kahni hoi kaminawk boih kakhuk mikhmai khukhaih kahni to anih mah asik pae boih tih boeh.
On this mountain He will swallow up the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;
8 Anih mah duekhaih to pazawkhaih hoiah paaeh tih boeh; Angraeng mah kaminawk boih mikhmai ih mikkhraetui to huu pae tih; angmah kaminawk mah hae long nuiah tongh o ih kasaethuihaih to la pae ving tih boeh, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
He will swallow up death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face and remove the disgrace of His people from the whole earth.
9 To na niah loe nihcae mah, Khenah, hae loe aicae ih Sithaw tangtang ni; anih to a zing o pongah, anih mah aicae to na pahlong tih; hae loe aicae mah oep o ih Angraeng ah oh; ang pahlonghaih to oep o si loe, anghoe o si, tiah thui o tih.
And in that day it will be said, “Surely this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
10 Angraeng ih ban loe hae mae nuiah om tih, toe caphaeh to maitaw aek thungah cawh o baktih toengah, Moab to a khok tlim ah suem ueloe, khok hoiah atii tih.
For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain. But Moab will be trampled in his place as straw is trodden into the dung pile.
11 Tui alaek kami mah tui alaek hanah ban payangh baktih toengah, anih loe Moab kaminawk salakah ban to payangh tih; Moab amoekhaih hoi ban thacakhaih to anih mah krahsak tathuk tih.
He will spread out his hands within it, as a swimmer spreads his arms to swim. His pride will be brought low, despite the skill of his hands.
12 Nihcae ih kasang sipae to anih mah tanimsak tih, long ah amtimsak ueloe, maiphu ah angcoengsak tih.
The high-walled fortress will be brought down, cast to the ground, into the dust.
