< Isaiah 19 >

1 Izip kawng pongah thuih ih lok loe, Khenah, Angraeng loe karang parai tamai nuiah angthueng ueloe, Izip prae ah angzo tih boeh; Izipnawk mah sak o ih krang loe anih hmaa ah tasoeh ueloe, Izipnawk ih palung doeh tui baktiah amzawt tih.
The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
2 Angmacae hoi angmacae misa angtuksak hanah Izipnawk to ka pahruek han; nihcae loe nawkamya maeto hoi maeto, imtaeng kami maeto hoi maeto, vangpui maeto hoi maeto, prae maeto hoi maeto misa angtuh o tih.
And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, [and] kingdom against kingdom.
3 Izipnawk loe palungboeng o tih, nihcae sak atimhaih doeh kam rosak han; to naah nihcae mah krangnawk, adoi sah kop kaminawk, kadueh kami ih pakhranawk, angzo han koi hmuen tahmaa rumram kaminawk khaeah lokdueng o tih.
And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
4 Izipnawk to hmawhsaeng ukkung angraeng ban ah ka paek han, nihcae loe tahmenhaih tawn ai siangpahrang mah uk tih, tiah Angraeng, misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah thuih.
And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
5 Tuipui ih tuinawk loe kang o tih; vapui tuinawk doeh amcap ueloe, kang boih tih.
And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.
6 Vapui tuinawk loe ahmui sae tih; Izip prae ih vacong tuinawk to apet ueloe, kang boih tih; akung kaom phroh hoi tuitaeng ah kamzam phrohnawk doeh zaek boih tih boeh.
And they shall turn the rivers far away; [and] the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
7 Tuipui taeng hoi tuiqum ih phrohkungnawk, tui taengah patit ih akungnawk to zaek boih ueloe, dueh tih, hnuk han koi roe om mak ai boeh.
The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no [more].
8 Tanga naeh kaminawk loe palungsae o ueloe, cakoih patung kaminawk loe qah o tih; palok payang kaminawk doeh thazok o sut tih boeh.
The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
9 Tlangqui sah kaminawk hoi kahni sah kaminawk doeh azathaih tongh o tih.
Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.
10 Kahni sah kaminawk poek amro o ueloe, tangka hnuk hanah toksah kaminawk doeh palungboeng o sut tih.
And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices [and] ponds for fish.
11 Zoan ih angraengnawk loe amthu o tangtang boeh, Faro poekhaih paek kaminawk mah doeh kamthu poekhaih to ni a paek o; kawbangmaw nang mah Faro khaeah, Kai loe palungha capa ah ka oh moe, canghnii siangpahrangnawk ih capa ah ka oh, tiah na naa?
Surely the princes of Zoan [are] fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I [am] the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
12 Nang ih palungha kaminawk loe vaihi naah maw oh o? Misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah Izip nuiah sak atimhaih to panoek o nasoe loe, vaihi na thui o nasoe.
Where [are] they? where [are] thy wise [men]? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.
13 Zoan ih angraengnawk loe amthu o boeh moe, Noph ih angraengnawk loe aling thaih kami ah oh o boeh; Izip prae ah kaom acaeng zaehoikungnawk doeh loklam pazaesak boih boeh.
The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, [even they that are] the stay of the tribes thereof.
14 Angraeng mah nihcae salakah anghmanghaih pakhra to kraih pae pongah, mu paqui kami mah angmah ih tamlok nuiah angsong baktih toengah, Izipnawk loe hmuennawk sak pazae o boih boeh.
The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken [man] staggereth in his vomit.
15 Lu maw, tamai maw, tanghang maw, akung maw, Izip prae mah sak thaihaih, tidoeh tawn mak ai.
Neither shall there be [any] work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
16 To na niah Izipnawk loe nongpatanawk baktiah om o tih; misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah nihcae nuiah ban to takhoek thuih pongah, zit loiah nihcae loe tasoehhaih hoiah om o tih.
In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
17 Misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah Izip prae nuiah, kasae sak han pacaeng boeh pongah, Judah prae loe Izipnawk hanah zitthok prae ah om ueloe, Judah prae, tiah thuih ih ahmin thaih kaminawk boih zii o tih.
And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
18 To na niah Izip prae ih vangpui panga tonawk loe, Kanan kaminawk mah apaeh ih lok to apae o ueloe, misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng hmaa ah oep om lokkamhaih to sah o tih; to vangpuinawk thung ih vangpui maeto loe Amrohaih Vangpui, tiah kawk o tih.
In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.
19 To na niah loe Izip prae thungah Angraeng han hmaicam maeto om ueloe, ramri ah doeh Angraeng panoek poehaih thlung to om tih.
In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
20 To thlung loe Izip prae thungah misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng maathaih hoi hnukung ah om tih; minawk mah pacaekthlaek o pongah, nihcae loe Angraeng khaeah hang o tih; to naah anih mah nihcae pahlongkung hoi thacak lensawk kami to patoeh ueloe, anih mah nihcae to pahlong tih.
And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
21 To tiah Angraeng loe angmah hoi angmah to Izip kaminawk khaeah angphong tih, to na niah loe nihcae mah Angraeng to panoek o ueloe, nihcae mah Angraeng khaeah angbawnhaih hoi hmuen tathlanghaih to sah o tih boeh; ue, nihcae mah Angraeng khaeah lokkamhaih to sah o ueloe, a lokkam o haih baktih toengah sah o tih boeh.
And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform [it].
22 Angraeng mah Izip prae to bop tih; bop ueloe bohhaih ahmaa to hoisak let tih; nihcae doeh Angraeng khaeah angqoi o tih, to naah nihcae tahmen hnikhaih to Angraeng mah thaih pae ueloe, nihcae to ngantuisak tih.
And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal [it: ] and they shall return [even] to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
23 To na niah loe Izip prae hoi Assyria prae khoek to manglaih lampui to om tih; Assyria kaminawk loe Izip prae ah caeh o tih, Izip kaminawk doeh Assyria prae ah caeh o tih, Izip kaminawk loe Assyria kaminawk hoi nawnto Sithaw to bok o tih boeh.
In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
24 To na niah Israel loe Izip prae hoi Assyria prae pacoengah, long nuiah tahamhoihaih katongh, thumto haih ah om tih;
In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, [even] a blessing in the midst of the land:
25 misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah nihcae khaeah, Kai ih kami Izipnawk, ka ban hoiah sak ih Assyria kaminawk, kai ih qawk ah kaom Israel caanawk loe, tahamhoihaih om nasoe, tiah tahamhoihaih paek tih.
Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed [be] Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
