< Kalati 1 >
1 Kai, Pawl loe (kami khae hoi ih na ai, kami mah patoeh ih doeh na ai, anih duekhaih thung hoi pathawkkung, Jesu Kri hoi Ampa Sithaw mah patoeh ih kami) ni;
Paul an apostle not from men nor through man but through Jesus Christ and God [the] Father the [One who] having raised Him out from [the] dead —
2 kai hoi nawnto kaom nawkamyanawk boih mah, Kalati prae ih kricaabunawk khaeah:
and the with me myself all brothers To the churches of Galatia:
3 Ampa Sithaw, aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri khae hoi ih tahmenhaih hoi monghaih to nangcae khaeah om nasoe, tiah ca kang tarik o,
Grace to you and peace from God Father of us and of [the] Lord Jesus Christ,
4 aicae Ampa Sithaw koehhaih baktih, vaihi dung thuem ih kahoih ai hae long thung hoiah aicae pahlong thai hanah, Anih loe angmah hoi angmah to angpaek boeh, (aiōn )
the [One who] having given Himself (for *NK(o)*) the sins of us, so that He may deliver us out of the age of which having come presently evil according to the will of the God and Father of us, (aiōn )
5 Anih khaeah tahamhoihaih dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to om nasoe. Amen. (aiōn )
to whom [be] the glory to the ages of the ages, Amen. (aiōn )
6 Kri tahmenhaih thungah kawkkung khae hoi kalah tamthanglok hoih bangah, karangah nang puen o ving pongah ka dawnrai.
I am astonished that so soon you are deserting from the [One who] having called you in [the] grace of Christ to a different gospel
7 To kalah tamthanglok hoih loe, kahoih tamthanglok tangtang na ai ni; nangcae raihaih paek moe, kahoih Kri tamthanglok hoiah angqoisak ving han kakoeh thoemto kaminawk oh o.
which not is another, only except some there are who are troubling you and are desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 Toe nangcae khaeah kang thuih o ih tamthanglok hoih laep ah kalah tamthanglok hoih to kaicae mah maw, to tih ai boeh loe van kami maeto mah maw taphong nahaeloe, to tiah taphong kami to tangoenghaih tong nasoe.
But even if we ourselves or an angel out of heaven (shall evangelise *NK(o)*) to you contrary to what we evangelised to you, accursed he should be.
9 Kang thuih o tangcae baktih toengah, vaihi doeh kang thuih o let, mi kawbaktih mah doeh na talawk o tangcae kahoih tamthanglok laep ah kalah tamthanglok to taphong nahaeloe, to tiah taphong kami to tangoenghaih tong nasoe.
As we have said before, even now again I say, if anyone [to] you is evangelising contrary to what you received, accursed he should be.
10 Kai mah vaihi kami koehhaih maw ka sak, to tih ai boeh loe Sithaw koeh haih? To tih ai boeh loe kaminawk palung anghoesak han ih maw ka sak? Kaminawk palung anghoesak han ih ka sak nahaeloe, Kri ih tamna ah ka om mak ai.
Presently for of men do I seek approval or God? Or do I seek men to please? if (for *k*) yet men I were pleasing, of Christ a servant not then would I was being.
11 Nawkamyanawk, kai mah taphong ih kahoih tamthanglok loe kami mah sak rumram ih na ai ni, tiah panoeksak han ka koeh.
I make known (for *N(k)O*) to you, brothers, the gospel which having been evangelised by me that not it is according to man;
12 Kami khae hoi ka hnu ai, amtuk ih doeh na ai ah, Jesu Kri amtuenghaih rang hoiah ni ka hnuk.
Neither for I myself from man received it (nor *NK(o)*) was I taught [it] but through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
You have heard of for my way of life former in Judaism that beyond exceeding measure I was persecuting the church of God and was destroying it;
14 kai loe kam panawk ih khosakhaih atawk bangah poek angpaek hmoek kami ah ka oh, kaimacae acaeng thung ih kai hoi huih to kaminawk pongah doeh Judah bokhaih bangah ka cak kue.
And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many contemporaries in the countrymen of mine more abundantly zealous being of the fathers of mine traditions.
15 Toe Sithaw mah ang tahmen pongah, a tahmenhaih rang hoiah angmah hanah kam no ih zok thung hoiah ni kai ang kawk boeh.
When however was pleased God the [One] having selected me from [the] womb of mother of mine and having called [me] through the grace of Him
16 Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk khaeah anih kawng to taphong moe, kai khaeah a Capa amtuengsak hanah, taksa ah athii kazoi kaminawk khaeah lok ka thui ai:
to reveal the Son of Him in me myself, that I may evangelise Him among the Gentiles, immediately not I consulted with flesh and with blood,
17 ka hma ah kaom patoeh ih kaminawk hnuk hanah Jerusalem ah ka caeh ai; Arab prae ah ni ka caeh lat moe, Damaska ah kam laem let.
nor did I go up to Jerusalem to the before me apostles, but I went away into Arabia and again returned to Damascus.
18 Saning thumto pacoengah, Piter hnuk hanah Jerusalem ah ka caeh tahang, anih khaeah ni hatlai pangato ka cam.
Then after years three I went up to Jerusalem to make acquaintance with (Cephas *N(K)O*) and I remained with him days fifteen;
19 Toe Angraeng ih amnawk Jakob khue ai ah loe, patoeh ih kalah kaminawk maeto doeh ka hnu ai.
Other however of the apostles none I saw, only except James the brother of the Lord.
20 Vaihi nangcae khaeah kang tarik ih hae loknawk loe lok amlaihaih roe om ai, tiah Sithaw hmaa ah ka thuih.
In what now I write to you, behold before God that not I lie.
21 To pacoengah Syria hoi Cilicia ah ka caeh;
Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
22 kai loe Judea prae thung ih Kri ah kaom kricaabunawk hoi krang angmathaih ka tawn ai:
I was then unknown by face to the churches of Judea that [are] in Christ,
23 kaminawk mah canghni ah aicae pacaekthlaek kami loe, vaihi angmah phraek ih tanghaih kawng to taphong lat boeh, tiah thuih o ih lok khue ni nihcae mah thaih o.
Only however hearing they were that the [one] persecuting us formerly now is evangelising the faith which once he was destroying;
24 To naah kai rang hoiah nihcae mah Sithaw to saphaw o.
And they were glorifying in me myself God.
