1 To pacoengah anih mah, Kaminawk hanah a ban ah amrohaih maiphaw to sin o sak boih ah loe, vangpui toep kaminawk to hae ah angzo o haih ah, tiah tha hoi kawk ih lok to ka thaih.
And He crieth in mine ears — a loud voice — saying, 'Drawn near have inspectors of the city, and each his destroying weapon in his hand.'
2 To naah aluek bangah kaom kasang khongkha hoiah kami tarukto angzoh o, nihcae loe humhaih maiphaw to ban ah sin o boih; nihcae thung ih kami maeto loe puu ngan laihaw to angkhuk moe, panak bangah catui tabu to aken: athung bangah caeh o moe, sumkamling hoiah sak ih hmaicam taengah angdoet o.
And lo, six men are coming from the way of the upper gate, that is facing the north, and each his slaughter-weapon in his hand, and one man in their midst is clothed with linen, and a scribe's inkhorn at his loins, and they come in, and stand near the brazen altar.
3 To naah Israel Sithaw lensawkhaih loe cherubim khae hoiah tacawt tahang moe, a ohhaih ahmuen hoiah tempul toepkungnawk ohhaih ahmuen ah caeh. To pacoengah anih mah panak bangah catui tabu kavak puu ngan angkhuk kami to a kawk,
And the honour of the God of Israel hath gone up from off the cherub, on which it hath been, unto the threshold of the house.
4 Angraeng mah anih khaeah, Jerusalem vangpui thungah caeh ah loe, hae ah sak ih panuet thok hmuennawk pongah palungphui moe, palung sae haih kaminawk ih lupataeh ah angmathaih to sah ah, tiah a naa.
And He calleth unto the man who is clothed with linen, who hath the scribe's inkhorn at his loins, and Jehovah saith unto him, 'Pass on into the midst of the city, into the midst of Jerusalem, and thou hast made a mark on the foreheads of the men who are sighing and who are groaning for all the abominations that are done in its midst.'
5 Lok ka tahngaih li naah kalah kaminawk khaeah, Nangcae doeh anih hnukah vangpui thungah bang oh loe hum oh; paquem o hmah, tahmen doeh tahmen o hmah.
And to the others he said in mine ears, 'Pass on into the city after him, and smite; your eye doth not pity, nor do ye spare;
6 Mitongnawk hoi thendoengnawk, tanglanawk, nawkta tanawk hoi nongpatanawk to hum oh; toe angmathaih tawn kaminawk taengah caeh o hmah, ka hmuenciim hoiah hum amtong oh, tiah a naa. To pongah tempul hmaa ah kaom kacoehtanawk khae hoiah hum amtong o.
aged, young man, and virgin, and infant, and women, ye do slay — to destruction; and against any man on whom [is] the mark ye do not go nigh, and from My sanctuary ye begin.'
7 To pacoengah anih mah nihcae khaeah, Tempul to amhnong o sak ah loe, longhma to kami qok hoiah koi o sak ah, caeh o lai ah, tiah a naa. To pongah nihcae to caeh o moe, vangpui thungah kami to hum o.
And they begin among the aged men who [are] before the house, and He saith unto them, 'Defile the house, and fill the courts with the wounded, go forth.' And they have gone forth and have smitten in the city.
8 Nihcae mah kami hum o naah, Kaimabueng ah ka oh, akuephaih hoiah ka qah, Aw Angraeng Sithaw! Jerusalem nuiah palungphuihaih na kraih moe, kanghmat Israelnawk to na hum boih han boeh maw? tiah ka naa.
And it cometh to pass, as they are smiting, and I — I am left — that I fall on my face, and cry, and say, 'Ah, Lord Jehovah, art Thou destroying all the remnant of Israel, in Thy pouring out Thy wrath on Jerusalem?'
9 Anih mah kai khaeah, Israel hoi Judah imthung takoh ih zaehaih loe thui laek ai len boeh, prae loe athii longhaih hoiah koi boeh moe, oep kaom ai hmuen hoiah vangpui to koi boeh; nihcae mah, Angraeng mah prae to pahnawt sut boeh pongah, Angraeng mah hnu mak ai, tiah a thuih o.
And He saith unto me, 'The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah [is] very very great, and the land is full of blood, and the city hath been full of perverseness, for they have said: Jehovah hath forsaken the land, and Jehovah is not seeing.
10 To pongah ka pathlung mak ai, tahmen doeh ka tahmen mak ai, a sak o ih hmuen baktih toengah angmacae lu nuiah ka kraksak let han, tiah ang naa.
And I also, Mine eye doth not pity, nor do I spare; their way on their own head I have put.'
11 To pacoengah khenah, puu ngan khukbuen hoi kamthoep, panak ah catui tabu aken kami mah, lok palaem pae, Na thuih ih lok baktiah ka sak boeh, tiah a naa.
And lo, the man clothed with linen, at whose loins [is] the inkhorn, is bringing back word, saying, 'I have done as Thou hast commanded me.'
