< Ezekiel 9 >

1 To pacoengah anih mah, Kaminawk hanah a ban ah amrohaih maiphaw to sin o sak boih ah loe, vangpui toep kaminawk to hae ah angzo o haih ah, tiah tha hoi kawk ih lok to ka thaih.
Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, “Cause those who are in charge of the city to draw near, each man with his destroying weapon in his hand.”
2 To naah aluek bangah kaom kasang khongkha hoiah kami tarukto angzoh o, nihcae loe humhaih maiphaw to ban ah sin o boih; nihcae thung ih kami maeto loe puu ngan laihaw to angkhuk moe, panak bangah catui tabu to aken: athung bangah caeh o moe, sumkamling hoiah sak ih hmaicam taengah angdoet o.
Behold, six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lies towards the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand. One man in the middle of them was clothed in linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side. They went in, and stood beside the bronze altar.
3 To naah Israel Sithaw lensawkhaih loe cherubim khae hoiah tacawt tahang moe, a ohhaih ahmuen hoiah tempul toepkungnawk ohhaih ahmuen ah caeh. To pacoengah anih mah panak bangah catui tabu kavak puu ngan angkhuk kami to a kawk,
The glory of the God of Israel went up from the cherub, whereupon it was, to the threshold of the house; and he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn by his side.
4 Angraeng mah anih khaeah, Jerusalem vangpui thungah caeh ah loe, hae ah sak ih panuet thok hmuennawk pongah palungphui moe, palung sae haih kaminawk ih lupataeh ah angmathaih to sah ah, tiah a naa.
The LORD said to him, “Go through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”
5 Lok ka tahngaih li naah kalah kaminawk khaeah, Nangcae doeh anih hnukah vangpui thungah bang oh loe hum oh; paquem o hmah, tahmen doeh tahmen o hmah.
To the others he said in my hearing, “Go through the city after him, and strike. Don’t let your eye spare, neither have pity.
6 Mitongnawk hoi thendoengnawk, tanglanawk, nawkta tanawk hoi nongpatanawk to hum oh; toe angmathaih tawn kaminawk taengah caeh o hmah, ka hmuenciim hoiah hum amtong oh, tiah a naa. To pongah tempul hmaa ah kaom kacoehtanawk khae hoiah hum amtong o.
Kill utterly the old man, the young man, the virgin, little children and women; but don’t come near any man on whom is the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” Then they began at the old men who were before the house.
7 To pacoengah anih mah nihcae khaeah, Tempul to amhnong o sak ah loe, longhma to kami qok hoiah koi o sak ah, caeh o lai ah, tiah a naa. To pongah nihcae to caeh o moe, vangpui thungah kami to hum o.
He said to them, “Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” They went out, and struck in the city.
While they were killing, and I was left, I fell on my face, and cried, and said, “Ah Lord GOD! Will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your wrath on Jerusalem?”
9 Anih mah kai khaeah, Israel hoi Judah imthung takoh ih zaehaih loe thui laek ai len boeh, prae loe athii longhaih hoiah koi boeh moe, oep kaom ai hmuen hoiah vangpui to koi boeh; nihcae mah, Angraeng mah prae to pahnawt sut boeh pongah, Angraeng mah hnu mak ai, tiah a thuih o.
Then he said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perversion; for they say, ‘The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD doesn’t see.’
10 To pongah ka pathlung mak ai, tahmen doeh ka tahmen mak ai, a sak o ih hmuen baktih toengah angmacae lu nuiah ka kraksak let han, tiah ang naa.
As for me also, my eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way on their head.”
11 To pacoengah khenah, puu ngan khukbuen hoi kamthoep, panak ah catui tabu aken kami mah, lok palaem pae, Na thuih ih lok baktiah ka sak boeh, tiah a naa.
Behold, the man clothed in linen, who had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, “I have done as you have commanded me.”
