< Ezekiel 43 >
1 To pacoengah anih mah ni angzae bang ah anghae, khongkha ah ang caeh haih,
The man took me back to the east gate.
2 khenah, Israel Sithaw lensawkhaih loe ni angzae bang hoiah angzoh; a lok loe tuipui lok baktiah oh; a aanghaih mah long to toeh phaeng.
There I saw the glory of Israel's God coming from the east. His voice sounded like a thundering waterfall, and the earth blazed bright with his glory.
3 Hae hnuksakhaih loe Sithaw mah Jerusalem vangpui phraek hanah ang hnuksak ih hnuksakhaih hoiah anghmong; Khebar vapui taengah ka hnuk ih hnuksakhaih hoiah anghmong phaek; to naah mikhmai long ah ka kuep.
The vision I saw was just like the vision I'd seen when he came to destroy the city of Jerusalem and like the visions I'd seen beside the River Kebar. I fell facedown on the ground.
4 Angraeng lensawkhaih loe ni angzae bang anghae khongkha hoiah tempul thungah akun.
The glory of the Lord entered the Temple through the east gate.
5 To naah Muithla mah kai ang toengh tahang moe, athung ih longhma ah ang pakhrak; khenah, tempul loe Angraeng lensawkhaih hoiah koi.
Then the Spirit picked me up and took me into the inner courtyard, and the glory of the Lord filled the Temple.
6 To kami kai taengah angdoet naah, tempul thung hoiah ang thuih ih lok to ka thaih.
I heard someone speaking to me from inside the Temple while the man standing beside me.
7 Anih mah, Kami capa, Hae loe kang hnuthaih angraeng tangkhang ohhaih ahmuen, khok ka koenghaih ahmuen, Israel caanawk khaeah dungzan ah ka ohhaih ahmuen ah oh, Israel imthung takoh loe natuek naah doeh kai ih kaciim ahmin to amhnong o sak mak ai boeh, nihcae hoi nihcae ih siangpahrangnawk loe, tangzat zawhhaih hmuensangnawk ah hinghaih tawn ai angmacae siangpahrangnawk ih krang bokhaih hoiah doeh amhnong o sak mak ai boeh.
He told me, “Son of man, this is where I have my throne. It's my home where I will live among the Israelites forever. The people of Israel and their kings won't ever again disgrace me and my holiness by their acts of prostitution and by their honoring their dead kings in their pagan high places.
8 Nihcae siangpahrang im akunhaih khongkha doeh kai ih tempul akunhaih khongkha taengah ka thling moe, nihcae ih thok tung doeh kai ih thok tung taengah ka thling; kai hoi nihcae salakah tapang maeto khue ni oh, a sak o ih panuet thok hmuennawk hoiah kaciim kai ih ahmin to amhnong o sak; to pongah palungphuihaih hoiah nihcae to kam rosak.
When they built their homes right next to mine—their threshold beside my threshold and their doorposts beside my doorposts, with only a wall separating us—they disgraced me and my holiness by the disgusting sins they committed. That's why I destroyed them in my anger.
9 Vaihi tangzat zawh o haih hoi hinghaih tawn ai angmacae siangpahrangnawk ih krang to kai khae hoi kangthla ah takhoe o nasoe, kai loe dungzan khoek to nihcae salakah ka oh han boeh.
Now if they get rid of their prostitution and their pagan honoring of their dead kings, and I will live with them forever.
10 Kami capa, A sakpazae o haih pongah a zat o hanah, tempul to Israel kaminawk khaeah patuek ah; tempul krang to tah o nasoe.
Son of man, tell the people of Israel about the Temple and they'll be ashamed of their sins. Have them carefully consider its plan,
11 A sak o ih hmuennawk boih pongah azat o nahaeloe, tempul krang hoi sakhaih dan, tacawthaih hoi akunhaih, pungcannawk boih, sakhaih dannawk boih, sak han koi atawknawk boih to patuek ah; sak han koi hmuennawk hoi pazui han koi hmuennawk to pakuem o thai boih hanah, nihcae hma ah ca ah tarik paeh.
and if they're ashamed of everything they've done, then explain to them the Temple's design, its layout, exits, and entrances—the complete plan—as well as all its regulations, specifications, and laws. Write them down as they watch, so that they can remember its complete plan and follow all its regulations.
12 Hae loe tempul ih daan ah oh; Maesom nui hoi a taeng boih loe ciimcai koek ahmuen ah om tih. Khenah, hae loe tempul ih daan ni, tiah ang naa.
This is the Temple law: the whole area around the Temple on the mountain top is very holy. Pay attention: this is the Temple law.
13 Hmaicam loe dong hoi tah naah hae tiah oh, (to dong loe dongto pacoeng baek maeto oh): atlim bang sanghaih loe dongto om ueloe, dongto kawk tih, aqai kangbuet loe karto sawk tih; hmaicam sanghaih dan loe hae tiah om tih.
These are the measurements of the altar in cubits (a cubit and the width of a hand): The gutter is to be one cubit deep and one cubit wide, with a rim one hand span wide along its edge. The back of the altar
14 Long hoi atlim koek hmaicam asom loe dong hnetto om ueloe, dongto kawk tih, asom kathoeng hoi asom kalen salak loe dong palito om ueloe, dongto kawk tih.
measured from the gutter on the ground to the lower ledge is to be two cubits. The ledge will measure one cubit wide. The distance from the smaller ledge to the larger ledge is to be four cubits, and the ledge one cubit wide.
15 Hmaicam loe dong palito sang tih, hmaicam ranui loe maitaw taki baktiah taki palito cawn tahang tih.
The altar hearth is to be four cubits high, with four horns pointing upwards from it.
16 Hmaicam loe im baktiah takii palito om ueloe, ahnuk ahma dong angvan boih tih, dong hathlai hnetto sawk ueloe, dong hathlai hnetto kawk tih.
The altar hearth shall be square, its four sides each measuring twelve cubits.
17 Atlim ih asom doeh im baktiah takii palito om ueloe, ahnuk ahma dong angvan boih tih, dong hathlai palito sawk ueloe, dong hathlai palito kawk tih; aqai kangbuet loe dong ahap to om ueloe, atlim koek ih aqai kangbuet loe dongto om tih, thlak loe ni angzae bang ah anghae tih, tiah ang naa.
The ledge is also to be square, measuring fourteen cubits by fourteen cubits, with a half-cubit rim and a one-cubit gutter all around it. The altar steps are to face the east.”
18 To pacoengah anih mah kai khaeah, Kami capa, Angraeng Sithaw mah, Hmai angbawnhaih sak moe, athii to haeh hanah, hmaicam sak na niah pazui han ih atawknawk loe hae tih om tih, tiah ang thuih.
Then he told me: “Son of man, this is what the Lord God says: These are the regulations regarding the altar once it's built, so that it can be used to sacrifice burnt offerings and to sprinkle blood on it:
19 Kai khae toksak han akun, Zadok ih atii thung hoi tacawt Levi acaeng qaimanawk khaeah, zae angbawnhaih hanah maitaw caa atae maeto paek han oh, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
You shall give a young bull as a sin offering to the Leviticus priests from the family of Zadok, who come and minister before me, declares the Lord God.
20 Athii to la ah loe hmaicam hoi tacawt tahang takii palito, im takii palito hoi aqai boih ah suem ah; to tiah hmaicam to na ciimsak moe na pasaeh han angaih.
Take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar, on the four corners of the ledge, and all the way round the rim. This is how you shall purify the altar and set it right.
21 Zae angbawnhaih sak hanah maitaw tae to la ah, hmuenciim tasa bang ah sak ih ahmuen ah anih mah hmai hoiah pakhaem tih.
Then remove the bull for the sin offering and burn it in the designated place of the Temple area outside the sanctuary.
22 Ni hnetto naah coek koi om ai maeh caa to la ah loe, zae angbawnhaih ah paek ah; maitaw tae hoiah hmaicam to ciimsak baktih toengah, maeh hoiah doeh ciimcaisak tih.
On the second day you are to bring as male goat without defects as a sin offering, and the altar shall be purified as it was purified with the bull.
23 To tiah hmaicam to ciimsak pacoengah, coek koi om ai maitaw tae maeto, coek koi om ai tuu khongkha thung ih tuu tae maeto paek han angaih.
After you've finished the purifying process, you are to present a young bull and a ram, both free from defects.
24 To hmuennawk to Angraeng hma ah paek ah, qaimanawk mah a nuiah paloi to phuih o ueloe, hmai hoi angbawn haih ah Angraeng khaeah paek o tih.
You are to offer them to the Lord. The priests shall sprinkle salt on them and sacrifice them to the Lord as a burnt offering.
25 Ni sarihto thung ni thokkruek maeh tae maeto zae angbawn haih ah na paek han oh; to khue ai coek koi om ai maitaw tae kanawk maeto, coek koi om ai tuu khongkha thung ih tuu tae maeto doeh paek han angai vop.
For seven days you are to supply a male goat daily for a sin offering. You are also to supply a young bull and a ram, they are both to have no defects.
26 Ni sarihto thung hmaicam to pasae o ueloe, ciimcai o sak tih; angmacae takpum doeh angpaek o tih, tiah thuih.
For seven days the priests are to set the altar right and purify it. This is how they will dedicate it.
27 To tiah sak ih aninawk boeng pacoeng, ni tazetto pacoengah qaimanawk mah hmaicam nuiah hmai angbawnhaih hoi angdaeh angbawnhaih to na sah pae tih; to tiah ni nangcae to kang talawk thai tih, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
Once these days are over, then from the eighth day the priests are to present the burnt offerings and peace offerings of your people on the altar. Then I will accept all of you, declares the Lord God.”
