< Ezekiel 40 >
1 Misong ah a oh o haih saning pumphae pangato haih, saning amtong tangsuek haih khrah, ni hato naah, vangpui lakhaih saning hathlai palito akoephaih niah, Angraeng ih ban ka nuiah oh moe, to vangpui ah ang caeh haih.
In the twenty-fifth year of our removal, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after which the city was struck, on this very same day a hand of YHWH has been on me, and He brings me in there;
2 Sithaw hnuksakhaih hoiah Israel prae ah ang caeh haih moe, sang parai mae nuiah ang suek, to mae aloih bang ah loe vangpui baktih kaom im to oh.
in visions of God He has brought me into the land of Israel, and causes me to rest on a very high mountain, and on it [is] as the frame of a city from the south.
3 Anih mah to ahmuen ah ang caeh haih naah, khenah, to ah hmawt suidik ih sum kamling baktih kampha, kami maeto oh; anih loe tahhaih cung hoi tlangqui to sinh moe, khongkha taengah angdoet.
And He brings me in there, and behold, a man, his appearance as the appearance of bronze, and a thread of flax in his hand, and a measuring-reed, and he is standing at the gate,
4 To kami mah kai khaeah, Kami capa, na mik hoi khenah, na naa hoi tahngai ah loe, kang patuek han ih hmuennawk boih to poek ah; nang khae patuek han ih ni haeah kang hoih; na hnuk ih hmuennawk boih Israel imthung takoh khaeah thui paeh, tiah ang naa.
and the man speaks to me: “Son of man, see with your eyes, And hear with your ears, And set your heart to all that I am showing you, For in order to show [it] you, You have been brought in here, Declare all that you are seeing to the house of Israel.”
5 Tempul tasa bang ih ataeng boih ah tapang maeto oh, to kami loe dong tarukto kasawk cung to sinh, tapang to a tahhaih naah cung maeto sang moe, cung maeto thah.
And behold, a wall all around on the outside of the house, and a measuring-reed in the hand of the man, six cubits by a cubit and a handbreadth, and he measures the breadth of the building—one reed, and the height—one reed.
6 To pacoengah anih loe ni angzae bang ih khongkha ah caeh moe, thlak hoiah dawh tahang, khongkha akunhaih to a tah naah, cung maeto sang; kalah khongkha akunhaih doeh a tah let naah, cung maeto thah toeng.
And he comes to the gate whose front [is] eastward, and he goes up by its steps, and he measures the threshold of the gate—one reed broad, even one threshold—one reed broad,
7 Imthung kathoeng loe cung maeto sang moe, cung maeto kawk; tetta imkhaannawk loe maeto hoi maeto, dong pangato angthla o; tempul bang anghae kalah khongkha doeh cung maeto oh.
and the little chamber—one reed long and one reed broad, and between the little chambers—five cubits, and the threshold of the gate, from the side of the porch of the gate from within—one reed.
8 To pacoengah athung akunhaih khongkha to a tah naah cung maeto oh.
And he measures the porch of the gate from within—one reed,
9 Khongkha akunhaih to tah naah, dong tazetto oh, khongkha tung loe dong hnetto thah; khongkha akunhaih loe a thung bang ah oh.
and he measures the porch of the gate—eight cubits, and its posts—two cubits, and the porch of the gates from within,
10 Ni angzae khongkha taeng maeto bang ah imkhaan tetta thumto oh boih; to imkhaan thumtonawk loe kalen hoi kasawk angvan boih; hae bang ih thoknawk hoi ho bang ih thoknawk doeh angvan o boih.
and the little chambers of the gate eastward, three on this side and three on that side; the three of them—one measure, and the posts—one measure, on this side and on that side.
11 Akunhaih khongkha to a tah naah, dong hato kawk moe, dong hathlai thumto sawk.
And he measures the breadth of the opening of the gate—ten cubits, the length of the gate—thirteen cubits;
12 Ahma ih imkhaan tetta pakahaih loe, hae bang ah dong maeto, ho bang ah dong maeto oh; imkhaan tetta loe hae bang ah dong tarukto oh moe, ho bang dong tarukto oh o.
and a border before the little chambers—one cubit, and one cubit [is] the border on this side, and the little chamber—six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.
13 To pacoengah imthung ih imkhaan tetta hae bang ih imphu hoi maeto bang ih imphu khoek to a tah naah, dong pumphae pangato sawk, thok loe maeto hoi maeto mikhmai angtong o.
And he measures the gate from the roof of the [one] little chamber to the roof of another; the breadth—twenty-five cubits, opening opposite opening.
14 Akunhaih im tasa bang boih to a tah naah, dong qui tarukto kawk.
And he makes the posts of sixty cubits, even to the post of the court, the gate all around;
15 Khongkha akunhaih ahmuen hoi athung bang ih khongkha khoek to a tah naah, dong qui pangato oh.
and by the front of the gate of the entrance, by the front of the porch of the inner gate—fifty cubits;
16 Imthung ih imkhaan tetta hoi athung khongkha taeng ih thoknawk pongah, thokbuem tetta oh boih; thokbuemnawk loe akunhaih athung bang ah anghae o boih; thoknawk nui boih ah ungsikung krangnawk to soi o.
and narrow windows [are] in the little chambers, and in their posts on the inside of the gate all around—and so to the arches—and windows all around on the inside, and palm-trees [are] on the post.
17 To pacoengah anih mah tempul tasa bang ih longhma ah ang hoih, khenah, to ah imkhaan kangkui ah thlung baih ih longhma to ka hnuk; to thlung hoi baih ih ahmuen nuiah imkhaan qui thumto oh.
And he brings me into the outer court, and behold, chambers and a pavement made for the court all around—thirty chambers on the pavement—
18 Thlung baih ih ahmuen loe khongkha taengah oh, to loe atlim ah kaom thlung hoi baih ih caehhaih ahmuen ah oh.
and the pavement to the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates, [is] the lower pavement;
19 To pacoengah anih mah atlim ih khongkha hma hoiah athung ih khongkha tasa bang longhma khoek to a tah let, ni angzae bang hoi aluek bang loe dong cumvaito oh.
and he measures the breadth from before the lower gate, to the front of the inner court, on the outside—one hundred cubits, eastward and northward.
20 To pacoengah aluek bang anghae tasa bang ih khongkha longhma sanghaih hoi kawkhaih to anih mah tah.
As for the gate of the outer court whose front [is] northward, he has measured its length and its breadth;
21 To ah kaom imkhaan tetta loe hae bang ah thumto oh moe, ho bang ah thumto oh o; thoknawk hoi akunhaih khongkha loe, tah tangcae hmaloe koek ih khongkha baktiah oh; kasawk dong qui pangato oh moe, kalen dong qui pangato oh.
and its little chambers, three on this side and three on that side, and its posts and its arches have been according to the measure of the first gate, its length [is] fifty cubits, and breadth [is] twenty-five by the cubit;
22 Thokbuemnawk, akunhaih khongkha hoi ungsikungnawk loe, ni angzae bang anghae khongkha tahhaih hoiah anghmong; dawh tahanghaih thlak sarihto oh tahang, akunhaih khongkha loe thlaknawk hma ah oh.
and its windows, and its arches, and its palm-trees [are] according to the measure of the gate whose face [is] eastward, and they go up on it by seven steps, and its arches [are] before them.
23 Athung khongkha longhma loe, ni angzae bang ih khongkha baktiah, aluek bang khongkha hoi mikhmai kangtong ah oh; anih mah khongkha maeto hoi maeto a tah naah dong cumvaito oh.
And the gate of the inner court [is] opposite the gate at the north and at the east; and he measures from gate to gate—one hundred cubits.
24 To pacoengah aloih bang ah ang caeh haih let, aloih bang anghae khongkha to ka hnuk; tungnawk hoi akunhaih khongkhanawk to tahhaih kanghmong cung hoiah a tah naah, kalah thok tungnawk hoi akunhaih khongkhanawk loe angvan o boih.
And he causes me to go southward, and behold, a gate southward, and he has measured its posts and its arches according to these measurements;
25 Khongkha hoi akunhaih khongkha ah, thokbuem tetta oh boih; kasawk dong qui pangato oh moe, dong pumphae pangato kawk.
and windows [are] in it and in its arches all around, like these windows, the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits;
26 Ranui bang dawhhaih thlak sarihto oh moe, akunhaih khongkha loe thlaknawk hma ah oh; hae bang hoi ho bang ih thok nuiah ungsikung krangnawk to soi o.
and seven steps [are] its ascent, and its arches [are] before them, and palm-trees [are] in it, one on this side and one on that side, on its posts;
27 Athung bang longhma ah doeh aloih bang anghae khongkha maeto oh; Anih mah tahhaih kanghmong cung hoiah aloih bang ih khongkha to a tah naah dong cumvaito oh.
and the gate of the inner court [is] southward, and he measures from gate to gate southward, one hundred cubits.
28 To pacoengah anih mah aloih bang khongkha hoiah athung ih longhma ah ang caeh haih; aloih bang ih khongkha to tahhaih kanghmong cung hoiah a tah;
And he brings me into the inner court by the south gate, and he measures the south gate according to these measurements;
29 hae tahhaih kanghmong cung hoiah tetta imkhaan, khongkha tungnawk, akunhaih khongkhanawk to a tah; ataeng boih ah kaom thoknawk hoi akunhaih khongkhanawk ah thokbuem tetta oh boih; dong qui pangato sawk moe, dong pumphae pangato kawk.
and its little chambers, and its posts, and its arches [are] according to these measurements, and windows [are] in it and in its arches all around; the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits.
30 A taeng boih ah kaom imthung akunhaih khongkha loe, dong pumphae pangato sawk moe, dong pangato kawk.
As for the arches all around, the length—twenty-five cubits, and the breadth—five cubits;
31 Athung akunhaih khongkhanawk loe tasa longhma bang ah anghae o boih; thoknawk nuiah ungsikung krangnawk to soi o; dawh tahanghaih thlak tazetto oh.
and its arches [are] toward the outer court, and palm-trees [are] on its posts, and eight steps [are] its ascent.
32 To pacoengah anih mah ni angzae bang ih imthung longhma ah ang caeh haih; akunhaih khongkha to hae tahhaih kanghmong cung hoiah a tah.
And he brings me into the inner court eastward, and he measures the gate according to these measurements;
33 Hae tahhaih kanghmong cung hoiah tetta imkhaannawk, khongkha tungnawk, akunhaih khongkhanawk to a tah; a taengah kaom thoknawk hoi akunhaih khongkhanawk ah thokbuem tetta oh boih; dong qui pangato sawk moe, dong pumphae pangato kawk.
and its little chambers, and its posts, and its arches [are] according to these measurements: and windows [are] in it and in its arches all around, the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits;
34 Athung akunhaih khongkhanawk loe tasa longhma bang ah anghae o; hae bang hoi ho bang ih thoknawk nuiah, bawksawkkung krangnawk to soi o; dawh tahanghaih thlak tazetto oh.
and its arches [are] toward the outer court, and palm-trees [are] toward its posts, on this side and on that side, and eight steps [are] its ascent.
35 To pacoengah aluek bang khongkha ah ang caeh haih, anih mah hae tahhaih kanghmong cung hoiah a tah.
And he brings me into the north gate, and has measured according to these measurements;
36 To ah kathoeng kae imkhaannawk, khongka tungnawk, akunhaih khongkhanawk to oh moe, a taengah thokbuemnawk oh boih; kasawk dong qui pangato oh moe, dong pumphae pangato kawk.
its little chambers, its posts, and its arches; and windows [are] in it all around: the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits;
37 To ih thoknawk loe tasa longhma bang ah anghae o boih, hae bang hoi ho bang ih thoknawk nuiah ungsikung krangnawk to soi o; dawh tahanghaih thlak tazetto oh.
and its posts [are] toward the outer court, and palm-trees [are] on its posts, on this side and on that side, and eight steps [are] its ascent.
38 Hmai angbawnhaih moi pasaehhaih, imkhaannawk hoi akunhaih loe khongkha thok taengah oh.
And the chamber and its opening [is] by the posts of the gates, there they purge the burnt-offering.
39 Hmai angbawnhaih, zae angbawnhaih, sakpazae angbawnhaih moinawk boh hanah akunhaih khongkha hae bang ah caboi hnetto, ho bang ah caboi hnetto oh boih.
And in the porch of the gate [are] two tables on this side and two tables on that side, to slaughter on them the burnt-offering, and the sin-offering, and the guilt-offering;
40 Aluek bang khongkha dawh tahanghaih tasa bang ah caboi hnetto oh; kalah khongkha akunhaih maeto bang ah doeh caboi hnetto oh.
and at the side without, at the going up to the opening of the north gate, [are] two tables; and at the other side that [is] at the porch of the gate, [are] two tables;
41 Khongkha taeng hae bang hoi ho bang ah caboi palito oh; sangqum boih ah caboi tazetto oh, to caboi nuiah angbawnhaih moi to boh o.
four tables [are] on this side and four tables on that side, at the side of the gate, eight tables on which they slaughter.
42 To ah hmai angbawnhaih sak hanah thlung kangphaek palito oh, dongto pacoeng ahap sawk moe, dongto pacoeng ahap kawk, sanghaih doeh dongto oh; to caboi nuiah hmai angbawnhaih moi bohhaih hmuennawk to a suek o.
And the four tables for burnt-offering [are] of hewn stone: the length—one cubit and a half, and the breadth—one cubit and a half, and the height—one cubit; they place on them the instruments with which they slaughter the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.
43 Karto kasawk moi patawnhhaih cakoihnawk to athung bang ih tapang taeng boih ah bangh o; angbawnhaih moi loe caboi nuiah a suek o.
And the boundaries [are] one handbreadth, prepared within all around: and the flesh of the offering [is] on the tables.
44 Athung khongkha tasa bang ih athung longhma ah laasah kaminawk ih imkhaan to oh, aluek khongkha taengah kaom imkhaan loe aloih bang ah anghae; aloih bang khongkha taengah kaom imkhaan loe aluek bang ah anghae.
And on the outside of the inner gate [are] chambers of the singers, in the inner court, that [are] at the side of the north gate, and their fronts [are] southward, one at the side of the east gate [with] front northward.
45 Anih mah kai khaeah, Aloih bang anghae imkhaan loe tempul im khenzawkung, qaimanawk han ih ni.
And he speaks to me: “This chamber, whose front [is] southward, [is] for priests keeping charge of the house;
46 Aluek bang anghae imkhaan loe hmaicam khezawkung qaimanawk han ih ni; hae kaminawk loe angmacae ih tok to sak o hanah Angraeng khaeah angzo Levi acaengnawk thung hoi qoih ih, Zadok capanawk ni, tiah ang naa.
and the chamber, whose front [is] northward, [is] for priests keeping charge of the altar: they [are] sons of Zadok, who are drawing near of the sons of Levi to YHWH, to serve Him.”
47 To pacoengah longhma to a tah, dong cumvaito sawk moe, dong cumvaito kawk, kasawk hoi kalen loe anghmong; hmaicam loe tempul im hmaa ah oh.
And he measures the court: the length—one hundred cubits, and the breadth—one hundred cubits, square, and the altar [is] before the house.
48 Anih mah tempul im akunhaih khongkha ah ang caeh haih, thok tungnawk to a tah, hae bang ih thok tungnawk hoi ho bang ih thok tungnawk loe dong pangato sawk; khongkha kawkhaih loe hae bang ah dong thumto oh moe, ho bang ah dong thumto oh.
And he brings me to the porch of the house, and he measures the post of the porch—five cubits on this side and five cubits on that side, and the breadth of the gate—three cubits on this side and three cubits on that side;
49 Imthung akunhaih khongkha loe dong pumphaeto sawk moe, dong hathlai hnetto kawk; anih mah ranui bang dawh tahanghaih thlak ah ang hoih; tungnawk loe thok taengah oh, hae bang ah maeto oh moe, ho bang ah maeto oh.
the length of the porch—twenty cubits, and the breadth—eleven [[or twelve]] cubits; and they go up to it by the [[ten]] steps. And pillars [are] by the posts, one on this side and one on that side.
